  1. Yep, I've been googling. There aren't any CD devices listed in the Pioneer instruction manuals but the manuals state that the remotes can control CD devices. I'm not naive enough to not do a little researching on my own before hand. Was just curious if anyone came across this area on the boards before as Pioneer receivers are fairly common.
  2. I have a Pioneer VSX-819H-K receiver and I'm attempting to program it's remote so I can use it with my Technics SL-PD5 CD Player. Unfortunately, the Pioneer's manual only lists DVD Players, TVs, and VCRs. If anyone happens to have any resources to solve this issue for me, that'd be great. But for now, I'm at an idle waiting on a response from Pioneer.
  3. Indeed it is. I really enjoy it sticking with Batman's original dark theme as well.
  4. Orange 9mm's 1999 album Pretend I'm Human.
  5. Finished Point Outlook, Operation: Anchorage, and the Pitt. Going on to do Mothership Zeta. Just finished the "Oasis" questline and I have to say I'm really liking my gear right now. Poplar's Hood, Vance's Longcoat, Gauss Rifle. Going to be fun playing the game with this stuff. I love the mechanical punch sound of the Gauss Rifle. Makes my bass driver orgasm.
  6. I'm going to head over to Radio Kaos and see if any new records came in that I feel like purchasing.
  7. I went to Obsidian Entertainment tonight hoping to find the late crew working on New Vegas so I could chill but their security guard hassled me and eventually kicked me out. I'd like to file a formal complaint. He was far more aggressive than a stereotypical security guard. Most of them have a God Complex of varying degrees but this guy was overboard. I'd also recommend a drug screening as I'm sure he's on steroids. Also, did he even give my message to Frank K? It was just a simple Hello and I even purchased the Six String Samurai for the guard to deliver to the team... and pizza. But he ****er ate the pizza and gave me a hardcore box cut with the pizza box. This is unacceptable and is grounds for a lawsuit. Fortunately I was able to snap a picture with my camera before evading further abuse.
  8. Finished Fallout 3's The Pitt and Point Lookout and just started Operation: Anchorage. While this one doesn't feel like Fallout, it's my favorite one thus far. I'm a huge fan of tactical combat in Winterized Settings and I feel it was designed pretty well. It's not all pros, though. A side note regarding the PS3's Fallout 3, it seems the more I play the GOTY edition the less buggy it becomes and the smoother the combat is. I remember when I first installed the DLCs I had to force myself to play it it was so terrible. I'm glad I pushed through that. If you have the option of playing Fallout 3 on all platforms, evade the PS3's GOTY edition. Fallout 3 was fine but the Broken Steel addon seems to butcher the games smooth frame rate and stability.
  9. One reason why I haven't is because the few people I do hang out with are all about Madden & the NFL or are FPS harlots. Playing solo isn't fun often with sports games. Now that snow is melting, I'll be hitting up outdoor skateparks like crazy. If I can find a used copy of '10 I'll have to pick it up for rainy days or in the unfortunate event of sustaining an inhibiting injury.
  10. I'm going to have to get in on some PS3 NHL action. Perhaps I'll start with NHL 11 when it comes out.
  11. Cons: Hillbillies/half-naked cultists that are tougher than Enclave troopers due to ridiculous damage system. Argonian voice actor. Feral Ghoul Reavers. Pros: double-barreled shotgun. One excellent sidequest. One rather surreal cutscene. I'm liking that the Pitt and Point Outlook are a change of scenery. Though, the damage Con that Walsingham pointed out is a huge one. I don't like strolls in the park (played through the Original Campaign on Very Hard) I actually had to turn down the difficulty to enjoy Point Outlook. Getting mobbed by 3+ cultists and having to reload and save after each fight wasn't fun. I eventually turned to the darkside and used the A3-21's Plasma Rifle. Didn't want to do that as it kind of kills the addon a small bit. I prefer to utilize the equipment I'm given in each addon. The Velvet Curtain was an amazing side quest, though.
  12. Fallout 3: Point Lookout. Just completed the Pitt.
  13. I've been working a part-time gas station clerk position all week that is more like Full Time + OT on minimum wage. Dealing with this great of a variation of soicieties populace makes one quite hostile. Yes, working at a gas station is a "low on the pole" job. I think people are taken back by the fact that I won't let them pull little cons on me and that I'm not a stupid creature. The worst are any types of solicitors, especially religious ones, that like to prey on an employee that may be so worn down that they'll give in to anything. "Have you accepted [insert religious icon here] as your [religious icon]?" "Leave. .... No. Put the energy drink back. I'm excersizing my right to refuse service." "Freedom of religion! BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!" "Yes, and you make othe customers wait while you're preaching to people who do not wish to converse or even listen to you. Thusly, I am not asking, I'm telling you to leave." --- Oh! There's also the guy who got mad at me that I kicked out because he'd buy me McDonald's if I won the lottery and I replied with a respectable decline as I do not enjoy McDonald's 'food product.' I wanted to hit that guy with the 2 1/4" combination wrench we have sitting behind the counter. Never have I seen someone get so angry over nothing.
  14. Regardless, I refuse to purchase a game with any form of hardcore DRM. I'm hoping that it'll affect sales enough where they'll realize this weapon's (against piracy) friendly-fire is far too significant to ignore.
  15. Resident Evil comes to mind. "I hope this isn't Chris' blood."
  16. I'm not sure who's call it was to make the adjustments of CoD:MW2 to have the PC version utilize the console variant of multiplayer. Which included no custom maps, dedicated servers, etc. I'd think it was more of Activision's call. Hopefully good things come of those guys now that they're not tied to a beast. I like Total Conversions/Mods for PC games. It's one thing that helps build a nice solid community, especially with dedicated servers (for PC gamers, anyway). Still haven't played the game and I don't think I will. Regardless, best of luck to those guys.
  17. I always think your name says "Bukake".

  19. Has the Obsidian crew seen Six String Samurai?

  20. I just picked up King of Fighters XII for the PS3. Been searching for this game for a bit. I'm a huge 2D fighter fan. Actually, I'm only 180cm in height.
