  1. Someday... someday, I will complete FFXIII, and then I can move on with my life. Will I finish FFXIII before we ship FNV? The race is on!

  3. My office feels so lonely without him!
  4. with sparkly nipple tassles. And tassle physics so the dancer can make them helicopter appropriately. /wrist
  5. I wasn't a big fan of FarCry 2, but I genuinely liked Crysis. So far Borderlands is... okay, I guess, but I can totally see it turning into a never-ending laundry list of "Kill X things, bring me Y thingamabobs." The visual style is fantastic, but once you realize the direction the game is going in, you're either stoked or you stop playing immediately (I did the latter).
  6. There's hating a game, and then there's hating a preproduction build. And then there's hating something to be in the "cool" minority of internet rebels and toughguys. Anyway, that video sure does bring back memories!
  7. One of the better analogies I've heard in awhile. Welcome to my signature, good sir/madam.
  8. God, I love the internet sometimes. (I'll post something with substance someday, I promise!)
  9. Republic Commando 2. I'm not exactly holding my breath.
  10. Late to the party, but it doesn't bother me when I can't pick my character's gender, depending on how the game is presented/sold to me. And as I understand it, Obsidian never implied that this would be a full "create your character exactly as you want him OR her" type of RPG. This is "Alpha Protocol, where you roleplay as Michael Thorton." It DOES bother me when I'm able to pick my gender, but I am then forced to be heterosexual in my dialogue responses. I find it even more infuriating when I am given homosexual responses, but only as one gender (as it was in ME, or so I hear). /two cents
  11. Healbot. So easy a Paladin could do it.
  12. Unfortunately for him, Jason is the guy who shares my office.
  13. This photo I took at the Santa Ana protest last night pretty much sums it up.
  14. I think that really depends on the kind of clan you join. I was a competitive FPS gamer for several years, and there were times when I joined 'casual' clans that consisted of people pretty much in the same boat you are; I wanted to play with people who had some idea what they were doing, developed team cohesion, etc. without taking it so seriously that they had regular practices or anything like that. These casual clans also seem to be the ones that have the least drama and last the longest, simply because there's no huge competitive streak.
  15. Just finished Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. WHAT WILL I LIVE FOR NOW?
  16. there will be buttonmashing and qt events the likes of which have never been seen before
  17. I picked a terrible time to check up on this thread.
