  1. CDProjekt has my respect for this. I'm considering my first pre-order ever.
  2. It was a great game. Its also the type of game that doesn't need a sequel.
  3. Impending doom was done great in the Myth games. But then, thats a strategy game and the plot allows for everyone of note to kick the bucket if need be. I wouldn't go out of my way to look for faults in the ME games. They're a casual shooter mixed with a light action RPG. That in itself, is enough to make sure they never make any of my top lists. Along with the new Fallout games and other such bastard children of incompatible genres.
  4. i can't really speak for boo (but now I'm going to speak about him), and sometimes his statements do border on trolling (with regard to certain topics/posters), but generally i think he talks more **** about bioware than he actually feels, if I remember right he kinda liked dragon age origins, or at least his first review was fairly positive. I kinda liked everything they made, ever, only I lotta liked BG, which leads me to believe it doesn't have to be kinda until the end of time. That said, I slam recurring faults of their games and them as a company, from a demanding perspective of someone who knows what he wants to play and suspects they can (but wont - due to some or other reason) deliver. What frustrates me is not that their games are bad, but that they could be better in obvious ways (that they have already managed before!). That, and the increasingly formulaic way they approach story and gameplay since KOTOR. The latter most of all. I don't care what Bioware fans say, for me KOTOR, ME and DA are the same game in 3 different flavors. I can't approve of that.
  5. Start reading lawyer. I did nothing but express disappointment at a new game being done in a modern (likely ME) setting. I like fantasy more, so sue me. There was no bashing in it. Yet
  6. Saves them time from not having to make a gay guy for the guys and a lesbian one for the gals. Just as long as they are in. It wouldn't be an authentic Bioware experience otherwise. What was ME2 then? Isn't that secretary NPC bisexual?
  7. Saves them time from not having to make a gay guy for the guys and a lesbian one for the gals. Just as long as they are in. It wouldn't be an authentic Bioware experience otherwise. And, apparently, Obsidian as well. Because half the people you're likely to meet in a wasteland are gay!
  8. Who did Veronica?
  9. Won't that make for too many potential C&C's? I mean how are they going to keep track of who's dipped what in who?
  10. Who did the companion stories and dialog for this game?
  11. How many of the potential companions will be gay? To outdo FNV they'd have to have at least three.
  12. I thank Oblarq for his wisdom
  13. Disappointing
  14. Epic fail how many space marine games does that make in the last ten years?
  15. I don't know how interesting the same "flavor" will be the third time around, but the game certainly looks good. It looks like a combination of the first two games, the boy from Ico and a Colossi from SotC. One of the reasons I liked Shadow of the Colossus so much was probably not intended by the designers. For me it was a perfect epic fantasy experience - because of its minimalism. There's jut the hero, his sword, bow and a horse. All the riding through the game's huge and well designed world evoked epic fantasy Heavy Metal comics from my childhood. I had to kinda squint a bit not to see the anime characters, but since there is a total of 2 of them that wasn't really hard. I never finished Ico. It looked too old by the time I got around to it, and the whole setup struck me as a bit too sentimental.
  16. Too much money for a few trinkets
  17. What - we can't have the snappy, annoying lawyer turn into a soppy bitch over some woman. Its an unacceptable breach of style.
  18. That much is obvious, but that's also not what I asked. And I think it's obvious that we're crossing into the territory, where I don't want to make it any easier to identify me personally. I couldn't care less about identifying you . I was just wondering whether to bash you on the topic of your ex gf because you were old and immature or because you were young and stupid. And if you take this seriously, you're daft as well.
  19. Sofa gaming is a terrible downward spiral that leads to the abyss of casual gaming.
  20. That much is obvious, but that's also not what I asked.
  21. Keep on kickin him, there ain't no way to learn but pain. How old are you Mr. Lawyer?
  22. That she's a "Once Upon a Time in the West" reference? @Virumor: OMG its out. Will have to buy
  23. Very likely. Though I like to think it is still unsurpassed and a qualitative improvement over that mythical golden age.
