Well, just filling them up doesn't do it, so I guess I need to train them to a minimum level, say Veteran (blue) or something? But beware, you have no control whatsoever over them on the strategic map. and yeah, DX:IV i still don't like, but i've got nothing else to play so i might stick with it for a few hours today.

When all your city sectors are full mobile groups are created. They cost more and then they roam around the world and depending on their size, have various success when dealing with the enemy.

DX:IW ... i wonder if i'll like it any better now that i'm older and less demanding ...

Yeah i know. And i've heard that you can actually turn the german subtitles in the game into english. If that's true i might even consider buying the german edition ... but then again, int version will be patched and with bit more polish. :/

It is quite the resource hog, but it makes stuff soo much prettier: pic pic on 1920x1200 it's not that much of a difference though, so i have it turned off in many games as well.
