Yes its adolescent as all get out and wholly unneccessary to the game, but it is also easily skippable for the most part. One of thoe things I think that is given more importance (both positive and negative) than it merits. He's just upset, because it's only women.

German releases tend to be buggy but they fix many things in later english ones. So i'm not really worried about balance but more about that "GoWlike combat".

RE4 chapter 5. Added some appearance improving mods and it's great. Boss fights are easy once i bring the rocket launcher into play though.

I'm not all the satisfied with SE. Sure the VA are superb but otherwise it just feels weird. And when i change back an forth between original and SE i get the feeling that most of the time old pixel convey everything much better than this fancy new art style.

The did modify it a little bit to adjust it for DS. And yeah play this game wherever you can, it's the one that started everything. And Ivan only speaks russian in it :DDDD

Yeah, i've tried the mouse hack too ... it'd be easier playing with the keyboard Good thing i learned the 180 turn quickly or i'd be diing a lot more. Met the trader, hopefully he'll have more next time i meet him.

I'm using a gamepad, i use a gamepad on all console ports (except Dead space).The aiming is still kinda crappy but that's RE. And the only beef i have until now is the small inventory :D Ammo shortage might become a problem but i'm getting used to use as little of it as possible, if i can i slash and kick. Grenades will still take some time getting used to though. What about weapons? I heard the pistol can be kept for the whole game, but what about others? Shotgun comes handy, but takes a lot of space. Rifle and Rocket launcher i haven't managed to try out yet, since the require more vertical space than i have. i've tried the TMP but it looks like only wasting ammo by using that.

RE4. I've only come to the first dynamite throwers but i like it. This might just be fun ride.

Hmm RE4 seems pretty fun, i might even start to like it once i get back into all that stop and aim and shoot/stab/slash ... if i don't there's always Dead space :D

Man all this talk about RE4 is making me want to play it. And since i don't have any other than the PC version, i guess that one will have to do. I don't really need mouse support and don't care about graphics so i should be fine ... or not?
