  1. That was just a joke mate, I'm not having a stab about all the facts here. I just don't see any reason to in stone whitewash the aforementioned theory, (the age of the character discounted in hindsight) but even there it's a fantasy universe, I don't think it is un-explainable.
  2. Far cop I don't want my Mandalorian to have a walker, and those tubes better not be life support for the old bugger And I have no problem should we encounter him as a leader and kick his ass all over the place thus binding him to us through his honor. EDIT: I really think we could split hairs over the issue of when Revan and Malak turned all day and get nowhere. I have explained my natural assumption from when I played KOTOR, there really isn't any other literature to go on there.
  3. It's somewhat a fine argument as to whether "Galactic Conquest" had begun during the Mandalorian wars, Revan was clearly ruthless then - as recounted by Canderous - he was definetly not acting as a noble Jedi during those words. I simply had assumed that this was all a part of his "conquest". My memory of the Kashyyk Mandalorians is sketchy at best, but I certainly will go check it out, is the order coming from a Mandalore read in a datapad or mention by the warriors in converstation at some point? Nonetheless mostly I was only saying that personally, I liked the idea of a rogue hero long thought dead (I mean even if he was Mandalore by title and not truly dead he would perhaps still be too proud to answer by anything else) than some leader that should be out leading armies and not running around with a bunch of misfits.
  4. I haven't read those comics, but him mentioning his forefather's doesn't preclude him from being revived. I am not well versed enough to argue the technical issue, personally I can not find any solid facts saying his given name was in fact Mandalore or it was just his title. I am merely expressing from a narrative point of view, I like that option a hell of a lot better than the idea that the some illustrious leader has nothing better to do than hang around a bunch of Jedi, shouldn't he be off restoring an empire? On a side note Darth Nuke you mention that there is already another and that HK encountered this new "Mandalore" from a timing point of view I can't see why it would not be the same Mandalore that Revan defeated. There is no definitive sense of timing handed out - we don't know exactly how long HK was lost to Revan, when HK was constructed or exactly how far along Revan was by the time he ended the Mandalore wars with Mandalore's defeat. I had always assumed that Revan was well down his dark path by then, and had already constructed HK sent him of into Mandalorian space and lost contact with him.
  5. From as much as I can find, the origin's of the "Mandalore" that died in Dxun are sketchy at best, nothing iron clad saying it wasn't his name. For all narrative purposes I like idea of a long thought dead warrior being at your side, rather then the new leader of an army of clans. Please don't let it be Canderous in disguise......so cheesy.
  6. Yeah I have no doubt it was as much due to his techno-physiological make up as any mastery over the force....it just looked damn cool.
  7. Vader is my guy, pure presence of power, and he barely needed to show how tough he was on screen and most of us still get te feeling he could pound the rest of that lot into oblivion. And deflecting blaster bolts with a light saber is one thing, but with your hand? man that's way cool. I'd run Maul and Sidious second's and still hae a soft spot for Revan, but Vader he is awesome...seriously.
  8. I love it, very dark and full of conflict.
  9. I still really think it's important if you want to reach a damn high level, you should have to work for it, the natural course of the game taking you comfortably to the highest possible level makes you feel gipped if you spent a lot of time doing optional quests, hunting down loose enemies and such. In Kotor, I never finished the game without reaching level 20 sometime on the forgotten plant, I just didn't deserve to be that high a level character in some cases and more than likely some of my builds would have leveled again before completion had it not been capped because I spent so much time doing other quests/combat. The highest levels of character shouldn't just be achieved by a quick run through of te game.
  10. The only thing that irked me about the levelling was the simplicity in which every game I played, I got to level 20 no sweat. I'd like to see a higher level cap purely to have my character with more powers and skills and ra ra ra, but I'd rather it be work to even get to level 20 and certainly not a give in. If I spend and extra 10 hours wandering around with part time missions and wiping out Kath Hounds, I'd like to be rewarded with expierece that I can use, but I don't want to be max level just because I the game through.
  11. That's what I am saying, kill her, wipe her out. She bugged me to no end, Bleed her it'd be great. I think it was a pretty good summary anyway Ivan, they'll have to dispatch the Star forge one way or the other. I thought they may just well have had it destroyed in that final battle despite the alignment you chose. I like those options better however.
  12. Damn fan boys why can't we bleed Bastila already!
  13. The little grey dudes were the Noghri, and they protected Thrawn not the emperor. I am fairly certain (it has a been a damn ling time since I have read the books) that it mentions the exceptional nature of Thrawn being accepted by the Emperor given his distaste for aliens, and that Thrawn was an exceptional case. Later down the line though it suggests that Thrawn and the emperor had much closer plans then was let and on to the Imperial forces. I think the "Empire" as a force were generally bonded by a general hatred of alien races, while the Emperor himself might not have been, he definetly perpetrated the feeling amdist his forces. From a Sith point of view I have no genuine idea.
  14. I prefer it being limited to human, allows for more effort to be placed into heads/portraits and it accomadates the narrative better to have your character so set.
