LOST season six
Just saw the latest 2 episodes, definitely my favorites so far this season. It's almost painful how much better the show gets with Desmond in the picture.

The Booze Thread V2.0
Last week on my snowboarding trip, I drank more Ricard (a French pastis) than I did in whole my life before. Man I love that drink, it's perfect for sunny afternoons. I had trouble convincing my companions that I'm not such a drunk in real life, but fortunately I could blame it on the all-you-can-booze formula. In real life I'm more of a beer man. If you ever get the chance to try Tripel Karmeliet, I highly suggest you do, it's the best damn beer out there.

Dragon Age Discussion
What am I doing wrong with Oghren? He keeps getting killed, and from time to time I just totally lose control of him. Also, for some reason, both the guards and smugglers in that city (of which I can't recall the name atm) don't wish to cooperate with me anymore. I don't even remember having done anything to upset either of 'em.

LOST season six
Richard's hysterical laugh was the best part of the episode. Next week better have Desmond!

LOST season six
The only problem with that is Jacob did see Sawyer in 1976 and did give him the pen to write his revenge letter before the island blew up in 1977. Yeah, and back in season 4, Ben said that Charlotte was born on July 2, 1979. But in season 5 we see young Charlotte in Dharma in 1974. The writers aren't flawless. I wouldn't rely too much on precise dates.

You don't know Edward Scissorhands, Batman, Batman Returns, Corpse Bride, and Ed Wood? Burton's one of my favorite directors. I'd say Ed Wood is his best film.

What are you playing now?
I look forward to playing GoW3, but that'll be some months from now. I rather wait for big PS3 titles to hit platinum and get a considerable price reduction.

Frenchies rarely venture out of their chauvinistic French-only communities. They are the Western world's very own Asians. I doubt there's many, if any, on here.

LOST season six
There is no good or bad Sawyer, both Sawyers have a good and a bad side (just as every character does). Island-Sawyer never returned from the island, he's been there ever since the plane crashed. Cop-Sawyer on the other hand never crashed on the island, because in his timeline there is no island (and thus no Swan hatch to cause the plane to crash). The reason alternate Sawyer is a cop is because the island was blown up in 1977 (causing the split in timelines), and therefore the characters' alternate lives weren't influenced by Jacob. Since Jacob wasn't there in the alternate timeline to give young Sawyer the pen to write his revenge letter, he eventually became a cop rather than a criminal (although this doesn't mean he's now good instead of bad, as evidenced by the fact that he still wants revenge).

LOST season six
Exactly. It feels like such a wasted opportunity. I just hope his story will at least involve how "the rules don't apply to him". Yes but it's seeming more and more like the writers threw much of the crazy things in there just for wtf'ing the viewer, and only later realised many of those things were contradictory. The thing I always enjoyed most about the show was puzzling all those little clues together. If, at the end, many of those clues get ignored, I'll feel abused. To be honest, this really puts me off from ever rewatching the entire series, since that will only blatantly point out the parts that don't make any sense.

LOST season six
I'm still hoping Desmond will be flashing in between both timelines.

LOST season six
One episode is not nearly enough. The thing that bothers me most about this season is the lack of characters to sympathize with: Locke used to be the character most of us could best relate to, since he was the only one looking for answers concerning the island. But he's dead. Desmond has been seriously underused for the past two seasons. Ben has turned from seemingly all-knowing to being in the dark just as much as the rest. Same thing for Richard. Faraday is dead. Instead, we get an evil Sayid, a crazy Claire, and a "I need to find my husband"-on-repeat-Sun.

I can't believe Van Damme actually refused a part in The Expendables.

Still no Desmond :(

What are you playing now?
I had the same issue. Don't remember how I fixed it but I know I did. Probably by messing a bit with the console. Google it, that's how I found it iirc.

Man, too bad I saw Alan Dale listed in the credits, that ending didn't surprise me in the least. Still no Desmond

LOST season six
I'm already preparing myself for an anti-climactic ending. The parallel timeline seems to be going nowhere, and the on-island time is getting wasted on new boring stuff rather than revealing old mysteries. Still no Desmond

Heavy Rain
I read that your PS3 needs to be online to play this game, is this correct?

LOST season six
I have a feeling the people (not person, I think it was plural; also Jacob said "they're coming" to Flocke when he died) coming to the island might be the ones responsible for setting up "the rules". Still no Desmond

I've had plenty of laughs with Lamebook lately, and it's a nice reminder why I still don't use Facebook.
