  1. Exactly. Then why are you attacking me when I say the same thing and you agree with a guy who says the opposite?
  2. LOL. So your brilliant idea of a powergrid of the future is to make AC from unreliable and flicker sources like wind and solar, then transform it to DC for storage and then use that storage to convert to AC to back up the original sources? Sounds like a solid plan for someone who has no idea how conversions work. A little hint it's not 1:1. I did read those, have you?
  3. I know. That's why I said he doesn't know what he's talking about. It's rather hard to discuss differentials with someone who don't even know multiplication table.
  4. Diversification is great. Nuclear power is great. Green energy is ok as an addition. But going all green is not possible. OK. Please do. As of right now you are just proving you don't know what you are talking about. Start with learning the difference between AC and DC.
  5. Guys, those are backups that can sustain essential systems in case of emergency. In no way those are reliable ways to keep up the energy on a scale that a country needs on regular basis as a part of power grid. Those are neither reliable nor they can store large amounts of energy as rjshae claims. 30.000 houses for 8 hours sounds nice, but when you have 1mil+ population cities with hospitals, factories and other heavy energy consumers it will last how long? Minutes? And after that how long for those backups to be repowered? And how much energy have to be put into this? Compared with solar and wind poor efficiency we will either hit a point where they will constantly be recharging the backups in a pointless cycle, or we would need to constantly increase the number of wind and solar plants ad infinite. And since the components for wind and solar plants are in no way degradable we will end up with half the world in wind and solar plants and the other half in wastage from those. As always "green" solutions tend to be more of a burden ecologically than traditional solutions.
  6. Did I missed this tremendous development in science that allows to store electricity?
  7. I winder if it was that reported by Young Turks? Must have been an awkward report.
  8. Seriously? Again the same story as with Automata? Some companies just hate PC I guess. After looking at comments it seems the framerate has to be capped at 60. But the game doesn't have that setting so you have to do this in your GPU control panel. Funny, really funny. Then I will wait for someone to make a fix like with automata and some discount. No point in buying crappy port for a full price.
  9. Scientific proof the whole Lockdown idea was idiotic spring to life every day now. All confirm my claims from a while ago for example that outdoors is safe. A claim some fervent lockdown supporters called wrong because virus supposedly fly and hangs in the air for hour. Seems it doesn't. https://www.google.com/amp/s/globalnews.ca/news/7769445/covid-outdoor-transmission-science/amp/ https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/04/23/mit-researchers-say-youre-no-safer-from-covid-indoors-at-6-feet-or-60-feet-in-new-study.html

  11. Then why is there even a discussion about police if they work so well? Sure, all of them have to abide and enforce the US law but I think the issue is not what but how. Maybe there is an issue in those slightly differences and priorities they can differ in? You know small differences in input can lead to extreme differences in outcomes.
  12. Thank's for displaying the complete accuracy of the chart. Appreciate
  13. I don't think the gun control measures are making the difference here. What I see as bonkers is that looking at the police force in other countries the police force is the same in all of the country. No matter if it's a small village, big city, highway, jail, you name it they are all part of the same police force that on the highest levels answer to appropriate ministry (like Ministry of Internal Affairs in Poland) and then to Prime minister or President (depends on the country) whichever is the head of Government in said country. What that does is you know that this officer had the same standards of entering the force, he follows the same laws and procedures as all the other cops you can encounter. This means the standard is uphold across the country and that every police officer is accountable for his actions and you can make complaint to a higher power even if his local superiors don't take your complaint into account. If I understand correctly, that is not the case in US. Basically every sheriff, precinct, city police is somewhat of an lonely island with their own rules, protocols and habits. They work more like the municipal force, which, for example, Poland and other western countries also have but municipal don't have the same power, equipment etc. and they don't deal with serious issues. Municipal is relegated to basic things like fining people for littering or parking tickets. For example Mayor of LA can dictate to LAPD chief something, which cannot occur in other countries because even though there is a police chief in a city he follows different chain of commands that is separate from local government. That's what I see as bonkers in the way police is organized in US in comparison to other western countries. Also some stupid things like qualified immunity or that the court (SC? I don't remember) ruled that police is not obligated to serve and protect strike me as bonkers.
  14. Dude, that's 1/6 of the total. One should burn it with fire I think what he had more in mind is changing the system and organization of police. To be honest the way police is "organized" in USA is bonkers. It wouldn't be called police by a standard western country.

  16. Can someone explain how he could commit 2nd 3rd degree murder and 2nd degree manslaughter all at once? I don't get that part.
  17. I don't see anything about that in those numbers, but after reading your post I definitely agree the numbers are real. So, thanks. It seems most Americans actually do go for a checkup regardless of what you guys wrote. https://www.statista.com/statistics/683751/frequency-of-doctors-visits-for-check-ups-by-age-us/
