    I don't think you are right about this. You seem to focus only on the vocal supporters who tends to be what we call in Poland iron electorate, which means the people who will always vote for the candidate of their party of choice. But I doubt even now that democrats and republican iron electorate together consists of more than 40% of voters. Most voters will pick a candidate somewhere during the election process, that's why Trump campaigning to the last day and Clinton skipping some states were crucial to his victory. Also there are the people who really avoid politics in a daily life, but would watch a debate or two and decide their vote based on that. So already skipping a debate between candidates makes them vote for default which would be in this case a sitting president. I'm certain that skipping a debate makes it impossible for the runner up to win with sitting president. Why I'm certain? Because I've just seen it happen in Poland's election a couple of weeks ago. Sitting president and the runner up were so divisive that they couldn't even agree on a debate which resulted in the sitting president win. The other example is 1995 election where the sitting president Lech Wałęsa (the man who defeated communism) lost to Aleksander Kwaśniewski (candidate of communist party) mainly because of his performance in debates. So in conclusion skipping the debates is in my opinion a forfeit on Biden's part. Then again Biden have no chance in debate with Trump so there's that.

    There is evidence now to impeach a future president 2 weeks after elections? Sure, sure. I doubt that people or international public opinion would see ot that way. Even Lukashenka would say that is a step to far. A big collective shrug? It's what they hint at from the start and Biden being Biden few times said it outright that Kamala will run the country.

    Well it was known that he is not a politician. One of the many reasons he beaten "the most qualified person for the job" like it was nothing. I think in his second term he would be even better in choosing people and when he will drop the two terms rule and keep the offixe further on then there will be no more missteps. @Gromnir Good, good. Keep insulting the people. Throw in a basket of deplorables while you are at it. It will get your "young, diverse and educated" candidates a win. Just like 4 years ago.

    It's interesting how many of ex-trump guys are people who got a huge chance from him and then made an absolute asshats of themselves and now are trying to cover their idiocy by being antitrumpers.

    Well, I would say that. I have a lot of family and friends who emigrated either after '89 or after we joined Eurokolchoz. And the situation is similar across Europe from what I can tell. More and more banning of Christian values or religious display that surprisingly don't apply to other religions or non religious people. For example it's perfectly ok to wear a t-shirt saying "I'm atheist" but not to wear a cross in many places. My cousin in France was visited by police to be informed that at Sunday they dress to nicely when going to church so the neighbours see they are going to church and it's inappropriate. My friend in Germany was called to his son school because he sighted "Jesus Christ..." on a boring lecture. Fortunately I still live in a country that have hundreds of years of tradition in religious freedom.

    How can anyone in US preach separation of church and state when they have In God we trust right there on their currency and they swear on the bible in court.

    This pick is a dud, but nothing short of Michelle Obama would push Biden candidacy in to any chance of victory. Trump might have had a problem if coronavirus situation in US would be blamed on him. But since dems are now backing antifa and blm riots as well as defund the police crap Trump have election in his pocket. Silent conservative majority is a real thing as liberals in Poland found out couple of weeks ago.
