  1. Okay. Saints Row is ****! Sleeping Dougws is ****! GTA rawks! Fight's on!
  2. Also notice plural "titles". Are they gonna port RDR too?
  3. *ahem* http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/07/09/rockstar-leeds-hiring-to-bring-latest-titles-to-the-pc.aspx Not a confirmation but it looks good.
  4. Oh, indeed. Lots of Japanese engineers and lecturers went to Southkorea in the early 2000s to train and educate the locals. The thing with Sony is that albeit being Japanese, it's basically aping after American corporations but always failing due to total lack of innovation-prowess and vision. Nintendo is still very Japanese. Their conduct of business, their games, their corporate culture are special and that makes them cool in my book. Now, give me a new Metroid Prime and a SMT/Persona on WiiU and I might take a bow with a bunch of money falling out of my coat pocket.
  5. http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/stock/meeting/130627qa/03.html See, and this is why Iwata-san deserves a bow.
  6. You can't plan non-linear processes like writing. Game writing.
  7. Guys ever heard of a game called Outcast? http://www.dsogaming.com/news/praise-the-lord-outcast-to-be-revived-more-news-coming-later-this-year/ Oink oink.
  8. Rule #1: Never buy a Total War game on Day 1 and always wait for ~10 patches before starting to play. Rule #2: See Rule #1
  9. Some people here obviously never heard of World in Conflict. Set in an alternative scenario where the Cold War actually goes hot. Company of Heroes 3 could very much work in a modern(ish) setting. Perhaps the first Gulf war? Abrams tanks, GIs and stuff, but no silly joystiq drones yet.
  10. If this game was trying to depict historical accuracy then it wouldn't even have been released. Luckily, it's an RTS with a WW2 EF backdrop, not the other way around.
  11. Jetpack-powered Dragons. I've seen everything now.
  12. Finally found a quality review for TLOU:
  13. "Mr. Newell, please, can you tell us when the WalletRape 2013 season will start?" Half-Life 3 confirmed.
  14. Dammit looks good Day 1 purchase wait I already pledged haha.

  16. You must come from the future then to know such things. Please, tell us more!
  17. Good thing Aussies won't miss out 'cause SR was always a ****, perverse and inept series.
  18. I hear you. Right now neither Sony nor MS do anything that makes me buy either system, and given both's trackrecord, I don't think this is gonna change. Give me a SMT and a real Metroid Prime however and I might hammer down some cash, as a complement to my masterrace machine.
  19. http://kotaku.com/microsoft-is-removing-xbox-one-drm-514390310 Last week at E3, the excitement, creativity and future of our industry was on display for a global audience. For us, the future comes in the form of Xbox One, a system designed to be the best place to play games this year and for many years to come. As is our heritage with Xbox, we designed a system that could take full advantage of advances in technology in order to deliver a breakthrough in game play and entertainment. We imagined a new set of benefits such as easier roaming, family sharing, and new ways to try and buy games. We believe in the benefits of a connected, digital future. Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One. You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world. So, today I am announcing the following changes to Xbox One and how you can play, share, lend, and resell your games exactly as you do today on Xbox 360. Here is what that means: An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360. Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360. In addition to buying a disc from a retailer, you can also download games from Xbox Live on day of release. If you choose to download your games, you will be able to play them offline just like you do today. Xbox One games will be playable on any Xbox One console — there will be no regional restrictions. These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One. The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold. Also, similar to today, playing disc based games will require that the disc be in the tray. We appreciate your passion, support and willingness to challenge the assumptions of digital licensing and connectivity. While we believe that the majority of people will play games online and access the cloud for both games and entertainment, we will give consumers the choice of both physical and digital content. We have listened and we have heard loud and clear from your feedback that you want the best of both worlds. Thank you again for your candid feedback. Our team remains committed to listening, taking feedback and delivering a great product for you later this year. In before CliffyB twittering like a ****.
  20. Seems official: http://news.xbox.com/2013/05/qa
  21. Some people should know that, probably: http://www.gamesreviews.com/news/06/ps4-online-blocked-for-countries-without-a-store/ “Unfortunately at this time gamers in countries which do not have a Store cannot access online multi-player features. However, we are considering every measure to offer PlayStation Store services to these territories as soon as possible. To clarify, the affected territories are: Bahrain, Lebanon, Romania, Oman, Slovakia, Malta, Cyprus and Iceland.”
  22. And now for some good news (for a change): http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/06/18/ea-lays-off-analysts-and-internal-reviewers.aspx What is this, EA starting to fire the right people?
  23. But not even as closely as fun as to what today's Anglo-Saxon axis is propagating.
  24. Goddamn people.
  25. Reggie is a cool Bronx lad and likes playing Donkey Kong. Mattrick is a corporate facist douchebag who likes to destroy cool. So no, these two gentlemen are not comparable.
