Are you saying only Kickstarter contributer are getting the game? No post-launch purchase option? That's even more stupid than I thought. No you grumpypuss I mean if nobody dared take a risk, development would never have started in the first place. If it turns out good, everybody, including the risk takers and those who watch from the sideline might benefit from it. If it's a disaster, well tough luck, no harm done. I'm a customer, not an investor. When I pay post-launch after thorough reviews/investigation, I win.

It's your money guys, so be my guest. I just don't like that model, because by the time I paid, and by the time the product is released (say 18-24 months later), much things could have changed. Maybe you just lost your interest in that genre/or gaming totally.

Or $250, ey Pop? If you support 10 Kickstarter projects, each with $15, and half of them are gonna suck which you're never gonna finish, you still lost quite some money. Not my type of supporting developers.

Watch the developer interviews. They have explained the kind of game they're making to death. Marketing is just about to start now, so expect actual gameplay videos soon-ish (~E3 / Quakecon).

If people think the Dishonored trailer was disgusting, they should maybe watch a Sniper Elite V2 X-Ray video.

Details on Halo 4 have been leaked out from time to time, but according to the game's official Web site, the title will ask Master Chief to "confront his own destiny and face an ancient evil that threatens the fate of the entire universe." Mass Effect here we come again.

That's all nice and dandy, but it still won't come close to the very first GR, in terms of difficulty and realism. Face it, the tactical FPS genre is dead. At least among mainstream developers.

It's a render trailer. Those trailers are usually always action packed and hardly any representative of the actual game.

If it was a Kickstarter game it would become a 2D Browser game, or some other ****. You can only make so much with ~$2 million. What's wrong with Bethesda as a publisher?

I only wish for Half-Life 3 to be exclusive to this console. Gabe would need to hire an army of bodyguards.

I wonder if we're going to reach the visual peak of violence in games any time soon. Personally I find the throat cutting scene disgusting. How juvenile do people have to be to find that appealing? Skipping this superhero crap. Yeah, I mean, a game from the creators of Arx Fatalis and Dark Messiah. Also having the lead designer of Deus Ex 1 and the art director of Half Life 2 involved. All of them citing their passion for Thief ans such. Yeah, skipping that superhero crap too. I mean, DAY 1 PURCHASE!!!!
