Why would people even think they're making HL3? They could after Ep3 just continue with HL: Subtitle, or make an offshoot... New Title: A Half-Life tale.
I'm not going to sell my birthday present now, that may insult my sister. But just because I don't like Madworld and NMH, doesn't mean there aren't other cool games to look forward to.
No, No, Maybe, Yes, Probably, Perhaps, No, No, No and No.
IIRC, L4D is handled by Turtle Rock (now Valve), so that's a seperate team. And there won't be a HL3 before Ep3 comes out. So whatever takes them that long, my guess is they develop new technology for it.
I think if there's no monthly fee to pay for a MMO, then the developer won't even be motivated to create one in the first place.
Or do you think Bioware would just have created a studio in Austin to make TOR free to play?
I don't really like the style of No more Heroes and Madworld, both look too "artsy" and...Japanese.
I'll stick with RE4 for now. Prolly try out Zelda and Metroid later.
Where did you heard this?
If that's true than it can really be WH40k
I think Matthew or Josh mentioned some time ago that Ferg is the project director of a new unannounced game.
And no WH40K please!!
I got one yesterday from my lovely sister as my birthday gift, but I'm not sure what games I should try.
Resident Evil 4 seems to be the obvious choice, since I never could finish it on PC but would likely do so with improved headshot ability now (Wiimote).
Mario Galaxy gets raving reviews, but from the looks of it I'll stay away from it.
How is Okami and RE: Umbrella Chronicles btw? Or the Zelda Twilight Princess?
Well the setting is very extensive and the latest Star Trek motion picture was really good, so yeah, I wouldn't oppose the idea of a Star Trek RPG. But I agree that Shadowrun or Dune would be a much cooler setting.
And how many people bought that? You and another guy?
This is the dev forum, ask them?
I doubt Obsidian is allowed to talk sales numbers. That's Atari's job, and they ain't gonna tell you!
Sorry, but that's bull****. Unless you have a really crappy mouse.
No, and here is why. When your mouse nears it's target it slows down to accommodate gamepad analogue stick aiming. That means you have to crank up mouse sensibility to such a ridiculous degree you wind up doing circles around yourself when you aren't aiming. They failed, or just didn't care to address this for mouse users.
This. Turning around with the mouse was just a chore. Gamepad is in Dead Space a lot better.
I trust Bioware that they're doing a lot of things right, meaning that TOR should have at least 500k subscribers steadily. Otherwise, if you're looking for a real shake-up in the MMO spectrum, I guess Blizzard will be the only ones achieving that. After all, they work on a MMO that will be unlike WOW.
