The best part of the game was on the ship. Loved shooting those frog-menschen down with my clumsy rifle.

I have a Core 2 Quad, but I doubt it will be efficiently used. Should run smoothly nontheless though.

A very athmospheric game, but it ultimately fails on it's flawed design. Especially towards the end you noticed that it was rushed. I'm not so fond about the chase scenes either, because they're neithr creepy, nor fun.

Not much, but I thought it was funny when I got Lost Odyssey on 4 Discs! Most of them are videos, of course. I'm wondering how much Discs FFXIII will need...ugh.

Pretty sure the 360 version will ship on 2 DVDs. And the 360 uses lower texture res.

OMG the nuns were monsters!!! This game is so EPIC and full of surprises! Seriously, I'm glad the graphics in Chrono Trigger is so ugly that I actually can endure playing it.

Open worlds suck when they're done by Bethesda. I mostly prefer the hub/mission based design, staying focused and all.

Splinter Cell haters need to acknowledge how excellent a game Chaos Theory is. Seriously, come on. Only played the fourth one (Double something) and I thought it was really poor.

The game was so purposeless so they just thought out the story during lunch breaks and put them together ASAP.

VD hypes his game by saying it will be great because (in his case) it will be like Fallout or Torment or whatever and anything else is dumbed down Hollywood crap. So I can't blame him, every Creative lead needs attention and some antagonist to bash. But we will see if this stays true once the game is released.

Oh, well, Morgoth the economic seer has spoken! You hear that Valve? It's all free sailing from here - you can just cruise along like Interplay did. With every single game sold in Steam, Valve makes a turnover on a daily basis. And the Steam library is growing every day, hence Valve gets richer every day. It's even more probable that MS goes down before Valve does.

Wasn't Bad Company much more a singleplayer game, while BF2 was an Online PC shooter? Either way, I was never interested in that series.

When I want to play well crafted shooters, I'll stick with the masters from Valve, id and Starbreeze.
