  1. You should have pre-ordered Monkey Island 2 when you could, you could have got both games at the price of one. You see, the funny thing is, I actually bought MI2 SE, but for some reason I got MI1 for free in addition. Why? Was this a Steam error? I only paid 9,99
  2. So you prefer to guess what your PC is going to say? With bad voiceacting to boot? Because that was my experience with the wheel in ME. Wasn't nice. At all. What do you mean with "guess". I knew exactly what I was saying in ME. And what do you mean with bad VO? Jennifer Hale rocks. And you haven't heard Hawke yet.
  3. I'm quite happy with my Q6600 and 4870. I'll upgrade again when Intel releases an entirely new CPU generation. Something like 100 cores would be cool.
  4. I'm looking forward to Inception from Christopher Nolan.
  5. Today I bought the Monkey Island Special Edition because everyone is saying that it's a pinnacle of adventure games, so why the hell not. Played a bit and it's quite funny so far. The new HD graphics are a reliever.
  6. Play some IE games if you want old-skool. I prefer the wheel. It looks so more...ergonomic.
  7. I'll hold you onto this if you do buy it...
  8. "Emo" and "Angst" doesn't fit Bioware's style. I think they'll stick with the ME and DA franchises for the coming years. Maybe throw a JE sequel in somewhere.
  9. No way this is gonna happen. Look what happened to Troika. Bioware doesn't need to lower itself to vampires & co.
  10. Steam isn't really intrusive. It doesn't mess with your Windows system folder or craps your registry full. It's just a seperate program like Winamp or Winzip, so it's perfectly harmless.
  11. I'll keep an eye on Hunted. Not sure if I'll pay full price or wait for some Steam sale, but it definitely shows potential.
  12. F:NV will use Steamworks too, ya know, just in case you're interested in that game...
  13. So you can't sell them back once they're used.
  14. Looks really good. Is this also coming out Q1 2011? Damn, Q1 will be the new Holidays for video games.
  15. I prefer action based combat always over tedious button clicking-and-watch combat. I want to be in direct control of sword and shield. Demon's souls captured that feeling magnificently.
  16. Well, DA:O was by design a 2004ish game. So with DA2, Bio can redesign it from ground up and do something new. This is a good thing. I hope they scrap the outdated realtime-with-pause combat and replace it with something akin to Demon's Souls.
  17. Robot Entertainment (former Ensemble employees) allegedly working on PC RTS "Spartan" with MS. Click MS doing a PC exclusive? That's a new one. Now they only need to buy Robot and lay them off years later to complete the MS dumbass cycle. Edit: I still can't forgive MS for shutting down such an excellent studio. Ensemble were the only ones that made competitive RTS games besides Blizzard that I really loved.
  18. Big Huge Games RPG "Project Mercury" will be reveiled at Comic Con on July 22th. Click *Fingers crossed*
  19. Well, the same can be said about the Kotor2 people.
  20. The Bio boards were once quite enjoyable, that is before Kotor launched.
  21. I'm fairly glad with the new course Bio has taken for DA2. Full VO and fixed character > dry reading.
  22. German print mag Gamestar has an exclusive preview coming out end of July. Including an intreview with the Docs about the series future. At least we don't have do wait till gamescom for first fresh meat.
  23. Good. Because DA1 felt dated in so many ways. I also hope DA2 won't be such a grind either.
  24. ... I'm serious. Or do you know any other developer (Firaxis maybe) that puts so much time, polish and love into their PC games?
