To me, the most important thing that I liked about DX was the unique atmosphere and the solid story. Customization and versatile level design was just the creme on top. If they really pull off a decent story without going into levels of stupid, I'm gonna give it a try.

I don't think so. The engine needs upgrades for rendering a huge island alone. Plus the graphics of TR:U looks dated. It would be cool if they used CryEngine 3, but that's very unlikely.

EA campus? Two words: Bioware Obsidian

I wouldn't be surprised if they really aquire Obsidian. They could then practically annualize the TES and Fallout series.

Problem I got with all previous TR titles is that Lara looked like a plastic toll. That's why I really like the new artwork. Lara looks like a human being now. Hope thay can also translate this into the ingame model.

Oddworld: Munch's Odyssey video incoming As for Tomb Raider, color me interested. Finally a whole island to explore instead of linear climbing sites.

Started playing Metroid Other M. Interesting little game. Some weird control scheme (no Nunchuk suppoert), but it works. Samus really needs to shut up though, the voice acting and philosophical babble is annoying.

It doesn't matter, there will always be competition around. DX3 comes out around the same week as Crysis 2, and DS3 probably within DA2's range.

What a total GITS ripoff. Uh. Are we working from the assumption the ghost in the shell invented cybernetic human augmentation, or is there another layer of "ripping off" I'm not seeing. Or are we back to the old conundurum that if it were something else, people would bitch that "it's not even proper cyberpunk" and now that it is, it's a "GITS RIPOFF"? You're reading too deep into this. Merely stating that once the augmented hand and eye popped up, I was instantly reminded of GITS2.

Well, whatever floats your boat. Usually when I can't think of anything to waste my money on I save it. Because you never know how ****ty the future can be.

Name me one game that needs such horsepower to run properly. Hell, even Crysis 2 will run better than Crysis 1, and Rage even runs with 60 fps on a 360. I have no need to upgrade anytime soon.

Well, this is one of those "wait and see" games. There're aspects I like (art direction), and stuff I don't like (camera-wankery). And the team is also unproven.

Actually I wanted to sell this thing but I was always curious about Epic Mickey so I kept it. What about that new Metroid Other M? Is that good?

Since I still have that Wii standing around (haven't touched it since a year, only played Metroid Prime and RE4), I'm now contemplating to get Epic Mickey. It's a Warren Spector game so it must be good. Amirite?
