Troubadour can cast the same invocations, phrases have longer linger, and all it cost them is 3 seconds extra for the +1 phrase needet to cast. Troubadour outperfoms default chanter in every way. They might also outperform Skalds in melee, because of invocations cast pr combat. I have not tested Skald enough to see their crit-numbers beyond level 10. Summoners (like you) preference for Trobadour over Beckoner point towards that Beckoner is slightly undertuned. I'm not sure. Main point: Troubadour does it all well. Too well.
