  1. The first reply to it is pretty hilarious though We will probably never know.
  2. I think you are correct. But AFAIK the company was founded in Russia.
  3. TBH some games made in Russia are indeed interesting. Pathfinder is also developed by Russian studio, thankfully, there is no such controversy around Owlcat Studios.
  4. Even more button mashing than in FFXV. In the end I started to enjoy FFXV, but it was more due to some DLC content, not the main game. For me it was really like 40 hours of boredom, until the open world part ended, and I was able to start to enjoy the game for the first time. The only reason, why I have forced myself to go through such a long bore, was that I was stupid enough to spend 120EUR on collector's edition on release date... So there is almost no chance for me to ever think about buying anything with Final Fantasy in the name, in the foreseeable future
  5. Private Division is under Take2
  6. There is also a controversy about this game, that it is funding the Russian Army efforts at Ukraine, as it is said, that Russian Government has stakes in the studio as well. https://www.escapistmagazine.com/atomic-heart-controversy-explained-mundfish-russia-ukraine-war/ For me good reason, to skip it, unless proven differently, and released on GOG.
  7. Oh yeah, we have one party like that here, few years ago, when they were in government, they were selling our weapons to Al-Qaeda, with our prime minister publicly stating that, if we would not sell them, someone else would sell them. Now the same guy is preaching, how immoral it is to supply weapons to Ukraine. Both of these incidents with blessing from Russia, as most of the top guys in his party are very close to Usmanov and other Russian oligarchs, who were doing business here in pre-sanctions era and are still “reimbursing” them
  8. Yes of course, this incident is indeed interesting. A little bit more about it directly from Belarusian partisans, where they are trying to explain the different colours. Anyway, as the plane registration number is known, I bet, if someone would really like to know, he can probably check it every day on flight trackers, how long it stays there. I bet we will see few more sat pictures from that airfield in the near future.
  9. Russian “journalists” have found out, that Serbia is delivering rockets for Ukrainian Grad MLRSs. Few thousands of pieces have been moved to Ukraine through Slovakia. https://tiraspol-news.ru/society/2023/02/28/37321.html (Official Transnistria news, if I understand it correctly)
  10. I do not know how it is in Russia, but here, even non-dramatic damage on a plane, can put it out of use for several months
  11. Peskov is whining, that Scholz and Macron are no longer calling Putin Their pettyness can still amaze me sometimes. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/02/28/7391319/ in the meantime Rheinmetall with Estonia are commencing with shipments of automated surveilance stuff to UA. https://www.reuters.com/article/rheinmetall-orders-idUSL8N3582SC EDIT: Saudi Arabia has decided to pick a side, and signed 400M USD help to Ukraine, of which 300M is on oil related products and 100M on humanitarian help.
  12. More info on the “pond” and the alleged UA counteroffensive on the front. @xzar_montyPond here is translated as “rybník” a.k.a. small recreational water area, primary used to grow fishes. I believe, it is the same in Ukrainian, as the direct translation of that water area from ukrainian to english is Northern Pond. And here is the info on the alleged cucumber shaped which DefMon refutes in the above Tweet. So it should be taken with a pretty big grain of salt until anyone confirms it. Due to psyops, both guys can be right. I am more inclined to believe DefMon this time, despite Suchomimus being very trustworthy and accurate so far.
  13. And big action by Belarusian partysans near Minsk. They blown up Russian radar aircraft.. Only 6 (now 5) such planes with modification U are in service in Russian army. Estimated cost 300M USD.
  14. Russia is little bit revamping their army, based on Wagner tactics performed around Bakhmut.
  15. Ehm, it is a recreational pond and has area of 40ha, and it is called Pivnichnyi Pond https://doinvest.dn.gov.ua/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/11-Bakhmut-Zona-vidpochynku-pivnichnyy-new-ENG.pdf And when you are comparing it to Kakhovka Dam, you are just undermining all your, sometimes even ratiounal sounding arguments, as the destruction of Kakhovka Dam, would directly endanger dozens of thousands of people on both sides of Dnepr, compared to the Pivnichnyi Pond endangering dozens of hundred of fishes and in total 5 buildings near Trudova Street. All you need to do is to check the topography in that area, and you could see that the creek flowing out of the pond has pretty wide inindation zone to endanger anyone foolish enough to still live there. here is the depiction of flooded area (the 5 building affected by water, are at the easternmost dark blue point )
  16. These numbers are really staggering and so much in favour for Ukraine, (with the exception of aircrafts). I would love to see similar spreadsheets from Kharkiv and Kherson counter-offensives as well.
  17. Berlin denied today that such offer was ever offered to Kiyv. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/02/26/7391092/
  18. More Tales of Arise, and more surprises and plot twists After the defeat of fourth Renan Lord, Alphen got finaly rid of his mask. And ne strarted to remeber stuff again After that, the party shipwrecked at the last region of Dahna, which name I’ve already forgotten , and they are slowly moving forward toward the capital. The 5th world is the water element world. I started to feel lack of money for the first time in the game, but it is still manageable. I just have to cherry-pick which weapon to craft and which armour to buy. Getting more and more in love with the game, although it is one of the darkest games from Tales of… universe, which I’ve played so far.
  19. Ukrainian Defense Inteligence, has revealed goals for their counteroffensive. Last time, that they revealed goal of Kherson counteroffensive, they liberated Kharkiv, so this will be interesting, what they manage to pull off. During this weekend, the spring rains started in the south, so there will be no action at least for a month. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/02/26/7391041/
  20. Are you seriously comparing the dam in Syria with a pond?
  21. And more “anniversary” gifts to UA have been announced today.
  22. All negotiations starts with few options which goals are “over the top” so they could be “discounted” during the process.
  23. And first Leopard 2s just arrived in Ukraine, just in time for the 1st “anniversary”. https://www.dw.com/en/poland-delivers-first-leopard-tanks-to-ukraine/a-64809432 Edit: and 2 more Billion by USA, mainly focused on UAVs and HIMARS.
  24. Unfortunately, the main goal of this as I see it, is to overshadow the Ukrainian 10 point peace proposal in the eyes of many partially supporting or neutral countries, to start more pressure on UA to negotiate and probably cease some territories. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/12/28/what-is-zelenskyys-10-point-peace-plan
  25. It was statement of a Russian official giving interview to FT. It picked this statement, because it sound ridiculous, but this just shows how some people around Pootin see the difference between the two, and even if they oppose the war, they are still out of touch with reality
