  1. Russia signed a pact with North Korea, about defending each other and supplying each other with weapons. South Korea has responded, that they will be reconsidering arming Ukraine, which again lead Russia to spew empty threats. 🤷‍♂️ Oh and Russia has raised taxes by few hundred percent, in a historically unprecedented move. 🤷‍♂️
  2. Unfortunately the Russian citizens are out of money to buy more of it 🤷‍♂️
  3. USD and EUR stopped trading at Moscow Exchange, after Russian Central Bank intervention, after newest sanctions, which led to spiraling out of control as panic buying started. Both currencies are currently sold for up to 200 rubles per 1 USD/EUR. https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20240613-russian-stock-market-suspends-dollar-trades-after-us-sanctions
  4. Unfortunately it will be in the form, which can be cancelled if the new president of USA decides so. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2024/06/13/7460543/
  5. According to the interview on June 5th 2024, Putin has indirectly said, they are suffering 5000 KIA per month. During 27 months of the war, this means 135000 fatalities. Which is in other words pretty much in alignment with the 500k casualties presented by various western/UA intelligence groups. math behind the 5k/month number can be found here (the plausibility is as always anyone’s guess 🤷‍♂️)
  6. Are there any settings directly in the game or maybe external mods, which will change the graphics into less C64 style and more into 286/386/Amiga style? The setting really is interesting to me, but I am somehow not very fond of the pixel art style of this game 😞
  7. Which means hard pass for me. From the looks of it, the theme of the setting changed from extremely dark, with a little way how to affect the whole world in DA1, to another save the world theme park, like every other RPG. Anyway, this will never be release on GOG, so there is no need for me to get any hopes, that I might be wrong about my assumptions 🤷‍♂️
  8. Part from an interview with Russian/Russian Speaking Economist Igor Lipsits, currently living in Lithuania.
  9. You are correct about the healthy dose of skepticism, that should be applied to both sides. The reason, that I have shared the last video of Russian soldier claiming big losses, is that I have seen in the last week more than a few confirmed Russian milbloggers, that have been complaining about serious loses at the Kharkiv direction, which have used words, that have been last used by Prigozhin. Can we say with 100% sure, if he was really Russian soldier? Most likely not, but in context to the articles/blogs/tweets which I went through, and the UA side being able to reclaim some previously occupied areas, I have considered the video plausible enough to describe what’s going on in Kharkiv direction.
  10. According to Ukrainian officials many of these videos has been “crafted” by Russia as a PSYOPS to undermine the UA efforts to defends itself 🤷‍♂️ which is pretty much plausible, taking into account their history of involvement in Ukraine 🤷‍♂️ https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2024/06/2/7458820/
  11. That one has been confirmed as a first hit by HIMARS in Russia.
  12. The situation is different today for Russia as well. They are not under lend lease from USA, so even if the manpower does not run dry, artillery and tanks will run low sooner or later. There is no way, that Russia can sustain losing 20-50 artillery and 10-25 tanks each day in the long term. Yes they are on war economy for a long time already, but there is no chance for them to build 1000 new artillery and 500 new tanks a month, when they are already lacking qualified workforce. It is now much easier to flee Russia now, than half century ago. 🤷‍♂️
  13. Results of Kharkiv offensive in the words of Russian serviceman.
  14. Afaik for SU-34s has been shown some evidence. Most of them have been destroyed directly on the airports though. And they stopped reporting on them after alleged destruction of two Patriot Launchers in Doneck Oblast. And yes, Axe is correct, the late claimed downing of SU-25s lacks footage. Anyway, back to the myth of Ghost of Kyiv:
  15. Yeah, you are correct. That was propaganda for people, who can use their brains once in a while, but sometimes are unable to overcome through their emotion, and because of that, they were wishing, that it would be true (in the West). In Russia, this was a propaganda, which tried to sew a little bit of fear into the pilots of larger country, which are committing war crimes on daily bases, and for some time it worked.
  16. As far as I understand, if the money they get are from Russia, they do not need to be “marked” as a Foreign Agent. It’s mind bogling, that some people are still in favour of Russian paid parties, after what they suffered through in 2008.
  17. Well propaganda for Russian simps is very different than propaganda for people, who can use their brains once in a while, but still can be influenced by nice words and “cute” face. Even not the smartest string pullers in Russia know, that propaganda targeted to flatearthers does not work on average Joe. Anything still released in the Russia in the social space, is controlled by the state, that’s a fact. They have also annected a law last year, that if some Russian citizen criticizes Russia on social media, and lives outside Russia, It is forbidden for Russian companies to sponsor them, which is punished by heavy fines. And what do you think what happens, when influencers’ income starts to get dry? They usually try to find the easiest way, how to get it back. And that is to appease whoever holds the gates to the flow of money 🤷‍♂️
  18. You should not, as FSB has employed loads of young “influencers” and not only in Russia, who are payed to talk positively about Russia. These are aimed especially at Latin American, African and Asian countries. But not exclusively.
  19. Trump joined the party as well with his latest 180 https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2024/05/29/7458155/
  20. I am doing exactly the same. Although sometimes, I am inclined to spent some extra dimes sooner than later, as last time, because I wanted to much to start racing in Assetto Corsa Competizione. If I would stay with RPGs as before finding that game, I would not need new PC for few more years 😂
  21. That’s to much conservative option for the current year audience 🤷‍♂️
  22. Bioware has a pretty high hurdle now to overcome. Trying to beat Larian's Bear "romance" will be definitely challenging 🙈
  23. Because they “want” a ceasefire so badly 🤷‍♂️
  24. It might or not. We'll see how they will handle them. The thing is, they will be use some longer range munition with them, which is still incompatible with SU-25s, which they are currently using. The biggest thing might really be maintaining No Fly Zone over most of the Ukraine, as the current most dangerous thing Russia has, according to many soldiers directly from battlefield, are their FAB glide bombs. PVO = Air defense in Czech or Slovak language, is really the biggest enemy for these F16s, but you have probably seen, that in the last two weeks, UA used dozens of newly acquired ATACMS to obliterate a big chunk of them all around Crimea and Donbas.
