St. Omaku's Mercy with Whispers of Wind or Instruments of Pain
1. Instruments of Pain (monk ability) allows you to do melee damage at range. But if you use St. Omaku's Mercy (warbow) with Instruments of Pain, does it change St. Omaku's Mercy's damage type to melee so you can get bonus from heartbeat drumming? 2. Can critical hits off of Whispers of the Wind with St. Omaku's Mercy trigger St. Omaku's 50% chance of free recovery on crit?

Thoughts On Tekehu As Pure Chanter?
Tekehu's druid side is stronger than his chanter side.

Blood Mage starting stats
Depends on which spells you're planning to spam. The difference between blood mage and normal mage is as blood mage you're spamming the same 3-4 spells over and over again.

Best blood mage build possible
The great thing about the internet is there's no facial cues, so if a person is being sarcastic everyone else will think they're being serious. I'm wondering though: as bloodmage tactician how are you supposed to solo splintered reef? or kill Nemnok's Eatons?

Build Advice - My Perfect Playthrough
BTW, what are you using to change the companion classes? For Aloth, consider Bloodmage/Monk, depending on if you can see Aloth as a monk or not. Iron wheel and turning wheel are excellent for wizards, and the blood mage mechanics gives your monk wounds.

Blood mage/Monk in a group. Tactician is pointless in group play because the whole point of tactician is to regenerate resources and that's not as important in a group. Blood Mage and Monk synergizes really well. The Monk side provides armor, con, swiftness and Int. The Blood mage side provides buffs, debuffs, and wounds.

If you would change the Companions Classes...
Xoti is fine as single class monk. Tekehu is fine as druid. Pallegina is fine as herald. Eder as... another herald? Serefen as... a third herald? Maia as.... a fourth herald? RP-wise this doesn't entirely fit, but it's an effective party. The thematic idea is... lots of chanting. BTW what do you use to change the classes? Point is, if you're lazy, and you said you are, I recommend heralds. Stat distribution can be anything on heralds as long as int is high for longer duration summons.

Help with Xoti monk build
Keep her alive until she gets Whispers of the Wind and Resonant Touch, and then watch her kill everything. As a monk, she's not that useful until then. Give her Iron Wheel and just have her tank and torment's reach in the lower levels. In the later levels she's great. In the earlier levels as a monk she kinda sucks.

Barbarian multiclass builds
I've tried that with a shifter. Your attack speed is massive, but you're kinda squishy.

I remember those eatons. Yes, they heal. Simple solution: hire two monks from the tavern and inner death/whispers of the wind them to death. Monks don't run out of resources.

If no Paladin, then any of the bloodmage variants are great. Llengrath's safeguard provides +5 armor and +20 defense, last 60 seconds (90+ seconds with high int) and as a bloodmage you never run out of casts. Combine bloodmage with a barb or a streetfighter and it's a good frontliner.

Herald. Pal/Chant. Damage comes from summons and chants. Very noob friendly. Always useful. Great from the very beginning when the party is weak and pathetic.

So How Do You Kill a herald with 19 armor and 160+ Deflection?
I mean, I would have stopped posting on this thread a while ago if the other dudes stopped posting here, too, and let it decay. And yet they would just keep on continuing. I already figured out how to beat my herald. I've already moved on.

Not really. That's only 4 right? The internet's a large place.

Build Advice - My Perfect Playthrough
Tekehu's really good btw as a pure druid since he can cast foe-only Chill Fog and has uber heals. If you're good at micro, you can do more with pure rogue than anything else. If you don't like micro, I would advise another herald or a monk.

People as in "plural." One or two annoyed isn't a big deal, especially if they also declare they hate you.

Ah.

I don't get tactician as solo. Aren't the debuffs worse as it's easier to get flanked?

Barbarian multiclass builds
Paladin for more tankiness, especially if you front line.

So How Do You Kill a herald with 19 armor and 160+ Deflection?
No offense, but I'm not sure you really understand how acc works. let's see a Arcane Knight with 20per. melee acc(devotion flame):20base+57lvl+10per+5aware+15weapon+5aura+3gloves+20devotion flame+10Ring of Focused Flame+12single handed+3Svef=160 you can change 12acc(single hand)for 2attacks(two weapon). With aware(50%graze to hit),the hit chance is more than 70%. Your will is lower than 110,Now. spell acc(Wondrous Torment): 20base+57lvl+10per+5aware+5aura+3gloves+10ability bonus+3Svef+2Potion of Ascension+7Fighting Spirit+3sky dragon pet=125 With aware(50%graze to hit),the hit chance is more than 75%. After that,ALL will attacks always hit or cri. Your def is 130,now. Arcane Knight casts Citzal's Martial Power. melee acc(normal)=138 Dual Wield Scordeo's Edge&Tarn's Respite,acc+20&def-10 after 10hits. Your def is 120,now. melee acc(devotion flame)=188. There is always hit,and 70%cri. Scordeo pen=7base+4legendary+1Scion of Flame+2food=14 Tarn pen is 15(+1cold iron) when cri,it is 21. Your ar is 15(19-2expose weakness-1blind-1plate aura). Lvl20 Arcane Knight has 14~15devotion flames with empower, that means more than 1000 output. There is brand enemy and weakness(Enervating Terror)counter your heal ability. If Blade Cascade works, the combat will end immediately. If not,we may need a test. But all above is in a 1vs1 combat. I can't kill a REALLY GOOD Herald in 1vs1 combat. But 160def&130will just far from GOOD. Well, yes, but note the large number of steps required. No one's going to bother reading it because it's like 20 lines long.

Excellent. Why should I care? Again, why should I listen to anyone who hates me? In fact, if you hate me that would only encourage me to do the opposite of whatever it is that you want.

Well. Since you've moved the topic onto a discussion of other classes, have you considered a herald?

Check out Iron Wheel. Every time you use your blood ability you give your monk wounds. The more wounds your monk gets, the stronger he becomes. Monks gain strength by getting hurt, and Blood Mages gain strength by hurting themselves so it's a good synergy. With Monk/BloodMage, idea is to hurt yourself to become stronger.
