And that's the one and only romance dialogue I've seen from him until the end of the game, so congrats. I found a flirt from the Watcher in the conversation you have on the ship right after you recruit Aloth, if you kept his secret. I think you have to pass some kind of insight check or something to enter this part of the dialogue tree, but he says it's too bad his lying about his identity made it so there could never be anything between him and the animancers, and you can reply, "I thought there was something between us." That takes him aback and makes him consider it.

Xoti hasn't been quite that bad for me, haha, but every combat start she says, "Do you think Eder would hold onto it for me?" and I have no idea what she is referring to. Almost all her barks seem to be about Eder. "Eder, look at what the Watcher gave me! It's pretty as a picture." It seems like they might need a few more conditionals for the flirts or something if she is flirting with everyone at once for others. In my game Tekehu swooped in literally a second after Eder rejected my Watcher. I thought that was funny. I don't mind the romances being a little clunky as long as I can figure out what the triggers are, and what to avoid or seek.

There's one convo with him where the Watcher can ask if he has feelings for her. It takes him a bit to realize what she's talking about, and then gives a it's-not-you-it's-me talk. I at least like what he says after you choose the passionate response to that. The Watcher says something like, "Give me a chance. I will make you see everything in a whole new way," and he replies, "If anyone could do that, it would be you." Might be encouragement for future content, who knows? There is also the option where you suggest you will wait for him and he says he will let you know. I picked that the first time.

It took me a bit to realize "traditional" meant pretty much anything having to do with cultural behaviors, so me asking Tekehu to teach me a folk song (while joking around) made Aloth immediately lecture me about being too traditional. Don't ever endorse classes, roles, rules, historical practices, or anything of that nature if you don't want to trigger him.

Freeing the boars might have done it. You can try loading from the auto save the first time you entered the area.

That's funny to me, because it's the opposite on the female meadow folk models. It's either, "have brown eyes and look pretty" or "have blue eyes and a face that went through a thresher." I wish you could choose eye color.

You only get a blue half circle because the other half is for dislike points.

You have to click on the anchor symbol over a town/beach to disembark your ship, or on the map symbol of the city in Neketaka's case.

I repeated it a lot of times and went from 0-2. Did you get red error text in your dialogue window when you tried it? Mind, I can't get his quest to progress so far, I just got a conversation where he complimented my Watcher's way of handling things.

I was having trouble with him too so I looked up a console command. If you don't mind using it: I think you have to type "IRoll20s" first to make cheats work. Put your character's name where "Watcher" is. You have to enter the code quite a few times to make the blue circle fill.

It seems like they were talking about the world map.

And yet, in regards to romance, every other character doesn't seem to give a rat's ass about the player's gender, race, past history, and so forth, but suddenly when it comes to Eder then it's "Oh but he can't feel that way due to something totally irrelevant". To me it just seems like they didn't want to give in to the fans even when what they were going to "give in to" made complete sense and fit in perfectly. And even if Eder found the Watcher's identity and lifestyle so abhorrent, he still will voluntarily spend months of his own life in the Watcher's close company, day and night, and not even for personal gain (such as when the Watcher is comatose). So that has not deterred him.

I found it interesting to take Tekehu into the Gullet and do quests with him there.

Mirke the sidekick is in the Deadlight tavern, but I don't know how to recruit her.

I couldn't find one to buy, but eventually a Prinicipi pirate ship near Deadlight attacked me so I got a flag from that.
