Was Revan the ultimate Sith Lord?
The Yeti of 66 replied to The Yeti of 66's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I should actually take it back, Revan was not a true Sith lord, he merely held the title like Kreia did. He was manipulative, and appeared to be fighting the republic, but he was actually helping the republic by turning the jedi to his side to prepare for the war of the true sith. He was more of a.....really smart, strong, and doublespeaking Jolee Bindo, except that he makes a difference other than old man comments. I dislike Sidious mainly for the reason that they screwed up in the Prequels and made it too obvious other than making it seem like a twist. So, because of Lucas, I hate that old shriveled raisin. Come get some. Or not. -
I think Revan was supposed to be a true sith but somehow he was taken into the outer rim where the sith dared not go yet. Perhaps Revan was supposed to lead them into a new golden age and once they discovered he was still alive, they sent the Mandalorians to destroy the republic and force the jedi to act, revealing Revan to them. Perhaps they wanted him dead, or to draw him out somehow. I think that Revan is more than he seems to be at the moment.

Was Revan the ultimate Sith Lord?
The Yeti of 66 replied to The Yeti of 66's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Um...Revan was much more cunning. He killed off nearly all the jedi at one time and the council had no idea about this until he came full circle and attacked. Sidious was discovered after only killing a few hundred jedi. The clone wars was a crappy cover and any idiot should have seen that he was the one responsible. The jedi of those times relied too much on the force instead of what was right in front of them. That and, Sidious had to hide, Revan was in the open, openly doing these things and still keeping his cover. He was cunning and tactical and was still able to fight for himself. Sidious was only smart, not strong, with the proper preparation, Anakin could have destroyed the "All powerful" dark lord. Revan was unequaled except for those who he trained. Anakin and Luke had no training from Sidious at all and could take him. Or to put it into a summary. Sidious = Dirty filthy shriveled pickle Revan = Super cool badass who can rule all Kreia was also great, she was right there, *right* there next to her enemies and was still not even suspected until she attacked the council. Of course *you* the player could see these signs that pointed her our, but the exile saw or suspected nothing. Sidious and mainly Dooku exposed the Dark Lord right to them. Besides, if the Emperor was so great at forseeing everything down to when he had to pee and same with those around him, why couldn't he see the oppurtunity he was giving Luke to turn Vader. What's more powerful than turning an enemy to your cause? This was *his* tactic and he couldn't see it right there. He was too reckless. Many others planned ahead and thought these things through instead of relying on how 'brilliant' they were and on their vaunted powers. That's why Kreia and Revan and the Exile were so wise. They learned to live without the force and could use their eyes and their power together without it making them arrogant. So once again, sidious = turd -
Was Revan the ultimate Sith Lord?
The Yeti of 66 replied to The Yeti of 66's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
True, but I mean for this age. For Kotor and the old ancient sith. This kicks the OT's ass in comparison. Maybe bioware and obsidian should have written the new trilogy. Then it would not be so childish, but deep and cool as it was meant to be. -
The true sith empire waits on the edge of the galaxy, ready for the war to come. Revan may have been drawn by the call of home. Which could be the old Sith empire. He is there to fight. Perhaps Revan will be the main character. It's quite a good fit. You find out that these new planets where the real sith live is where Revan came from. You either continue the fight, or you destroy the leaders and take the empire for yourself. Of course they would need a way to make Revan weaker. Perhaps the Sith have agents that are solely devouted to a form of the force which can blind the force completely to a force user but not their masters. Your first goal is to destroy these agents or find their source and remove them. Or find out how their masters are shielded. This would also work for the exile. Or maybe not.

He knew everything that could be taught from Malachor. Kreia knew pain in a way somewhat similar to Sion buy not exactly, she could take a heck of a lot of hits. Revan took that serious hit on his ship and survived. That takes some strength. I know Bastila lived, but she mostly just stumbled, Revan took most of that hit. This one I can back up the least but hey it's something. He did not know hunger, but he knew the ability to feed to sustain and heal himself. IMO, he taught that to Malak (who used it on the SF) and he taught it to all of his students to an extent. He knew betrayal, and understood it. According to Kreia, without such things, we would not be able to live or something like that. Without his betrayal of the Jedi, the galaxy and republic would be lost. Also, like Kreia said, the betrayer would know betrayal, and in turn be betrayed. He betrayed the republic and the jedi. His apprentice betrayed him. Like the exile, though to a much less extent, he lived without the force, if only for a short time, but this just made hime much, much stronger. He also made force bonds and was able to command people to betray those they loved and respected, to turn on innocents. He seems to me like the most powerful MF to ever exist, even greater than the exile and all others before him. My favorite SW char by far. Just a bit of speculation, though some of it is poorly backed up, so please either fill in the hole or shut me down. Debate!

First person said that Mira was the best mentally. She indeed is not. She associates with the most blood sucking backstabbing scum in the galaxy and yet she is reluctant to kill them. They not only deserve it, but letting them live just adds up her list of enemies. That's what leads to her death if you go DS. By mentally, it's Bao-Dur, he built the MSG and was able to destroy a planet with it, creating the power of the exile. Of course, game-wise, HK no contest. Okay, the mock up, trashball HK-50's fought T3 3-1 and the little guy won. Big deal, he's a utility droid. Against HK-47, Revan's personal assasin droid, there is no match. He would die and his fragments would be all over the ground. Mandalore is kind of tough, but he shows his age a lot by his perforance with the blaster. That is supposed to be his strong point yet he's the worst shot in the game. Only with melee I find him useful. Atton is skilled. That is far stronger than many who use raw strength or power. He killed tons of jedi by sneaking. If you were an assasin or watchman you cannot say he's weak. G0-T0 is a piece of ****. I'd prefer to use the remote in a fight or something. I don't like it, he claims to want to save the republic, but you can tell he prefers the sith in the end with the remote, but the sith always have clearly hated the republic and will destroy the republic eventually. His weakness is backed up by stupidity. Handmaiden, no comment, she's kinda in the middle. Visas is pretty strong but she was too caught up in her master, she was too scarred to show her potential. She would make a great jedi, but not a super duper power like the exile or the sith lords. Hanharr is blinded by rage and is too primal. Mira could beat him in melee despite his super strength and rage. Those Ubese guys kicked his ass. I voted Bao-Dur, because of (1) the MSG, (2) the fact that he's a guardian jedi and quite good in a fight despite his low vitality (3) he calls me general, c'mon now. All seem to be weak or strong in one area. Sorry if I rambled about things that don't matter, I like to talk about story-wise strengths rather than game. I don't try to seek out the power of each character in game.

How many times have you completed KOTOR 1 + 2?
The Yeti of 66 replied to Swinny's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Kotor 1: like 15 times, only once DS, only once female. I may play it again. Kotor 2: 4 times, once DS, once female. From what I've seen, Male LS is the best Revan, and Female LS is the most interesting Exile. That is all. Goodbye. -

A gang attack like that is not the way of the Sith. Not the way they did it. It had to be something else. Perhaps she betrayed them first? -

Hey, why was Kreia exiled by the Sith Lords. I know her word was not law to those ambitious blah blah blah. But what about? Did she finally say, okay, we're gonna go past the outer rim and find Revan, and they said, "Hell no, I'll meet you at the Trayus Core and we'll kick your butt for saying that!" Or what? -
You don't have to start Revan or the Exile at level 20 or higher. Think about this, Kreia was really really weak when you get to Dantooine to meet/kill the jedi. Then at Malachor she is freakin' strong as hell. It could be like that. Revan or the Exile is pretending, hiding, covering up for something. You don't have to know that in the begining. You start as a Jedi and later find out that you were using a cover name or somesuch. Or not. You could start as Revan and find that somehow the same thing happened to Revan. He encountered one of the new Sith that used the same power as the MSG and Revan, rather than die, turned away from the force, now trying to reconnect. It seems to me though that the Exile might become a lot like Nihilus, feeding on others. Just my 2 cents.

I've heard you can get Malak's robes as well. Is that true?

The Yeti of 66 replied to Sithmasteryoungy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Darth Ulgo...hehe. I don't think they should use a Darth name. Think of the names like Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow, and Tulak Horde, and Freedon Naad, and Ajunta Pall and all of the those cool names. Use something like that. Those are much cooler. Using Darth that much makes it starts getting generic and repetitive. However, Revan and Nihilus are the coolest Darth names eva! I have a "damaged game"
The Yeti of 66 replied to Jackass Jones's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well this has happened to me once. I just loaded an autosave. There is a moral here though. Cheating is bad, m'kay. [/Mr. Mackay] -
Yeah it is. I tried reloading but it didn't work. I'll try again.....and again. Was that scene with Kreia or whoever that was supposed to be there?

How do I get my lightsaber?
The Yeti of 66 replied to The Yeti of 66's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Where? -
Okay, I'm in the exchange compound. The one where that guy whose name starts with a Q controls. Anyway. I got Mira out. My character went into the arena and Goto killed the Q guy. Then I saw this scene where I think Kreia ran down there. Now I just appeared in the vent control room. I can't get out now. I can't go the same way as Mira, and the door through the vent is magnetically sealed. How do I leave?
-
I've reloaded. It didn't work. A bug huh? I'll post this at tech support then.

I've got a lightsaber. I just wanted that one because it's Viridian. I like that one. The one I've got now is crappy orange. That wolf hit me with an arseball. -Yeti -
How do I get my lightsaber from Atris. Obsidian made it sound like it was some huge important quest, yet here I am, a little more that half way through the game and I still cant get the weapon. How do you get it? What is so special about it? That wolf hit me with an arseball. -Yeti
