  1. But he wasn't extreme light side.
  2. Yes, it does. If they can't or don't want to adhere to the rules system then they shouldn't use it at all. Plain and simple.
  3. WHoever the human component is, I am sure he or she likes sushi.
  4. Yes, but KotOR is directly linked tothe PnP version while a game like Fallout has no direct links.
  5. Because its based on the d20 System. DEAR FREAKING GOD HOW HARD OF A CONCEPT IS THAT TO UNDERSTAND! If the developers didn't want to use the d20 SYstem then they shouldn't have used it in the first freaking place but they did therefore the need to be constrained in the rules system chosen for the bloody game. If you cannot follow the rules of the game, then don't bloody use the rules of the game. Plain and simple. They are using d20 SYstem, therefore it needs to adhere to the d20 System.
  6. Because the base rules system is not balanced for characters above 20th level. KotOR 2 is still based on Star Wars d20 and Star Wars d20 is not balanced for epic levels and since there are no epic levels in the Star Wars d20 there shouldn't be any in KotOR 2. Case closed.
  7. That is not a fact Influence, that is your opinion. There have already been several posts by people who's opinion is that leveling up should not be limited. The reason I made the suggestion that I did is that it is probably the only way that all parties can be satisfied. If you think that it is ridiculous to go over level 20, then you won't have to; but if you want to continiue to level up, then you would have the opportunity to do that as well. Everybody's happy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Except for people who want a challenge in the game.
  8. No, this thread is stupid not harmless.
  9. I rather see him banned.
  10. Then you just suck, in more ways than one Craigboy. I beat the game in 34 hours, going light side, and did all the quests as well. It was too short for the money I paid.
  11. Um, who were you trying to flame?
  12. I don't see how this bullshat can be funny.
  13. Volourn, I will probably buy this game a year or two after its release when its down where it will be worth the money. Who gives a flying *** that they made KotOR happen or not. That isn't the issue here. LA made a promise, they broke it, they need to know we gamers won't take that bullcrap. Case closed.
  14. Thats not so evil. That is just marking one's territory.
  15. If I wanted to read that thread I would have, ****.
  16. Thing is if you are going to be evil, you need to be truly evil. basic thug is not evil. I am talking about having a poor smuck chained to the wall and peeling one layer of flesh off at a time, then use a rock salt grinding wheel to whittle his or her limbs away, just for fun. True evil is to diabolically plot out the fall of someone, not out of gain but for the pleasure of seeing their lives crumble before them as the take their own life in the utter despair that you cast them in. Of course such situations will never happen in this game.
  17. I never said its going to suck. I expect it to be a better than average cinematic soft CRPG. Just the thing for console monkeys and first time CRPGers to whet their teeth on.
  18. Nah. I just put my energies in somtething that I have interest in. I have interest in PC gaming. Why put forth the effort into something important when nothing really changes anyway?
  19. Here is a word of advice from a gamer fromt he days of Pong: No game lives up to its hype. Period.
  20. That would be a good idea DSLuke.
  21. I didn't say not buy any games, I said don't buy games from publishers like LA who doesn't give a crap about its PC fanbase.
  22. That is because LucasArts thinks the customer base for the PC are a bunch of pathetic weak willed freaks that will lap up anything they spew forth. Just be better than that. Don't buy the game.
  23. Basically, the PC gamer gets screwed over again. A simple way to solve this is not buy games from publsihers that pul this sort of crap.
  24. As long as the games gwet better and allow greater character creation options then I say go for it. Lets have both.
  25. Despite KotOR weaknesses it had a good story to it and graphically appeasing. Its cinematic style in its presentation made it stand out. Also a drought of good CRPGs helped its sales as well. I wouldn't call KotOR one of the ebst games I played, for there are quite a number of improvements needed to be made, nor would I call it a game worth the money I paid for it, but it has a place in my collection of games that I regularly play.
