  1. Okay, thats a good thing. FIne, not another reason to skip this game.
  2. I shouldn't know more information about a console that I do not own than those who own the console. man, I am such a loser.
  3. Its still a design flaw.
  4. I am not saying that it couldn't be used as a aptching platform, but Microsoft doesn't want that to happen and in recent news have saught to make sure it doesn't.
  5. I hate in game tutorials. Tutorials need to be separate from the actual game. I shouldn't have to play the tutorial every single time I start a new freaking game. Another design flaw and reason not getting this game.
  6. Man, are you being particularly stupid today or what? THE PURPOSE OF X-BOX LIVE IS TO ALLOW ONLINE GAMING. KOTOR2 IS A SINGLE PLAYER GAME IN CASE YOU DIDN'T NOTICE! TEHREFORE NO REASON TO GIVE IT LIVE ACCESS! X-Box live doesn't exist to allow publishers and developers to patch X-Box games.
  7. No they freaking can't. Microsoft has put a ban on patching over the X-Box Live. MICROSOFT doesn't want to make the X-Box a poor man's PC where it comes to games. They want their games to be 100% ready to go and by forcing developers and publishers not being able to patch their games on their console. SHeesh, that has been known for a while now. They purpose of X-Box live is not to patch games. The purpose of X-Box live is to allow online gameplay. SINCE KOTOR2 IS A SINGLE PLAYER THERE IS NO REASON IN MICROSOFT'S EYES TO LET KOTOR2 TO HAVE LIVE ACCESS! Man, I know more about the X-Box than you do and I don't even own the freaking console.
  8. What the hell do you expect them to do about it? They can't patch a console you know. COnsole systems don't get patches for their games. THAT IS THE WEAKNESS OF GOING CONSOLE! If you want patches to fix problems, PLAY A FREAKING PC!
  9. Stop with that bullshat. We all know that Bioware and Lucas Arts lack the cojones to take such issues in a mature form. For godsakes, kids see kissing in PG movies and shows nowadays.
  10. Gee, what can theydo? Use your freaking heads. THEY CAN'T PATCH A CONSOLE GAME! YOU DON'T PATCH A CONSOLE GAME. THAT IS THE WEAKNESS OF GOING CONSOLE! Grow a freaking clue.
  11. Both romances in KotOR were rather pathetic. Oh, they are going to kiss! GOTTA BLACK OUT THER SCREEN!
  12. It is the worst and most unfun form of gaming. Games that have such stupidity make me sick and ashamed of being a gamer.
  13. I prefer a balance of the two. KotOR was too focused and allowed no real freedom to allow me to do what I want or allow me to play a character I wanted to play. Morrowind had no story to it and all the NPCs were nothing but card board cutouts. A Single Player MMOPRG some people call it. I prefer a balance between these two extremes, like Baldur's Gate.
  14. So, instead of bi*ching about it on the forums, do something about it. Try to get your money back, trade the game in for something better, and so forth. Constantly crying about it on the net will accomplish nothing.
  15. Because he is human and not Pavlov's dog.
  16. Grommie, how long have you known me on these forums? Of course it is complete nutters. What would make people think otherwise?!?! :D
  17. People say that people don't have control over how things effect them. I say bullsaht because of personal experience. I am no different than anyone else. A human is a human is a human. Sure, people have different experiences, but everyone reacts the same way to stimuli. Everyone has the choice of of letting their emotions get out of control or they can choose to control themselves. Everyone has the choice. It is the basis of free will. If you have no free will, you are nothing better than an animal. Are you saying you are nothing better than a dog, number man?
  18. I am not saying KotOR 2 should have LotR movie style quality. That would be silly. I am just saying that they could have shown the events in true CG style than simply telling us what happens. To use games the opening sequence of PS:T and BG 1 were freaking great. They drew you into the story right away and gave you a small taste of what is going on in the game. In the ending sequences of BG 1 you are shown the fall of Sarevok and the grandoise plans of Bhaal. You are shown this, not told. PS: I don't like Keats. I prefer James Welch.
  19. What would you call Princess Sarah? Um... Did I say that. *RUNS!*
  20. Hmmm... I guess it depends on what class of poster you are.
  21. For example take Fellowship of the RIngs. When the Fellowship was crossing the Mines in the book there was only one or two lines narrating what they did before the balrog and gandalf squared off. While in the movie it actually showed them running, being chased, added dialog that showed us more emotion than a piece of simple narration had in the novel.
  22. Um, no. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEase! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmmm... how desperate are you?
  23. Good narration can only take you so far. I rather see the events happen than being told. It draws you into the story, allows you to feel what is going on, and gives you a deeper connection. Saying "On this date, so and so did this and this happened" offers none of that.
