Revan, the Exile & KOTOR 3 (if it is ever made)
Judge Hades replied to Dark Wanderer's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Oh, silly Epiphany, your name is quite ironic. I was already iffy on buying the game before it was released for the X-Box. I was at the 50/50 stage of the game. You X-Boxers clenched it that I would not buy the game so I was being polite and conveying thanks. As for not believing Developers it has nothing to do being wise. Its called being experienced. Let me give you a bit of advice, never believe the developers or publishers when describing their game. They are like snake oil salesmen. -
There goes 35 hours....

Orem, I didn't want to apear rude but I had to laugh at that comment. You did make a good review and a fair assessment. Hopefully NWN 2 will turn out better. -
I view myself more Chaotic Neutral with good tendacies.

*collapses in a fit of laughter* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had to chuckle at that. Bioware a master of single player CRPGs? BWAAHAAAHAAAAA! Master of the Multiplayer yes, but single player?!?!? HA! -
You might have been taught by society, but I was not. I learned to trust my own instincts in matters of right and wrong instead of listening to my parents, my peers, and what society told me.
-
Insinct is a biological process that has yet been fully understandable by humans. Certain positive and negative consequences at an early age can influence a person's development but we are sentient beings and not limited to instinct thusly because of that we have to have personal accountability.

And knowing that the game was rushed out you still bought it. -
Its not society's problem. It is the individual's problem and they need to, or their family, deal withit. When it becomes society's problem then it is too late.
-
You still are. What do you mean by taught? No one ever taught me to take personal responsiblity for myself. I always had the feeling of what is right and wrong for me was instinctual. I just have it.

No, but I have been in similar situations with other games, most notably Neverwinter Nights. Now that game has been heavily supported and heavily modded, which you can't do on an X-Box but Obsidian made the best game they could in the time frame allowed by Luas Arts. Ask yourelf this, do you think you could do better with the same level of resources and time as Obsidian? -
Then the consequence will be that such a person needs to be taken out before he does any damage. He has no one to blame but himself and he needs to deal with the consequences.

How Long Would It Take 2 Make Kotor3

Gee, thanks. -
Then you own up to your mistakes and take responsiblity for them. You hold yourself accountable and take the consequences for your actions, may it be good or detrimental.

Lets see... I spent my money on this game. This game does not deliver what was promised. This game does not convey the story in a sensible fashion. Horrible endings. Broken influence system. Disgusting item randomization. Enemies with absolutely no decent AI. Impressively small maps with quests that require you to run from map to map to map to map, spending more time loading then actually playing. -- This game does not deliver a remotely bug/glitch free experience. This game no longer has Live support, therefor destroying the chances of getting some kind of fix for that. So, I feel XBOX users were screwed as used as the test monkeies for this game. I'm going to voice my opinion on this until *I* get bored with it. You have four options, in a sense. Grow up and deal with it. Leave the forum. Stop reading my posts. Continue your crusade of defending a game you don't even own. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Man, I used to be that way. Hmm... Well, my suggestion to you is to act responsibliy. No one forced you to buy the game. No one forced you to play the game. No one forced you to be a test subject. Don't like the game, return it and get something you will like. I am not defending the game, just using some common sense. If you feel like you were screwed, well welcome to the 20th century America where getting screwed over is a common place if you are dumb. Next time, be smarter. -
How the kid reacts to culture is completely in his control. I have the opportunity to do drugs, drink alcohal, and other unsavory things as well but did I? Nope, because I took control of my life. I took hold responsibility without being swayed by anyone or anything. If that kid couldn't he was weak and has no one to blame but himself and the parents should have done a better job parenting him.

The people yearn for a good Star Wars MMORPG. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is no such thing as a good MMORPG. -
Every person is responsible for their own actions. If they cannot, then they need to be locked up in a mental ward. Children are the responsibility of their parents and no one else. If a parent can't take care of their kid responsibily then the kid should be taken away from the adult and placed in care that can raise the kid responsibly. People need to take personal accountablity for their actions. Playing the blame game is just stupid.

Man, do you know how many posts and how many posters there are. Even if they weren't on a holiday break it is still unlikely they will answer your post. Take a chill and remember that they aren't on our beck and call. "

So? Overhyping a game is normal. If you actually believed them I have some swampland in Arizona I think you might be interested in. <_<
-
So, a simple conversation sums up the game. Sounds stupid to be honest. I rather have a mini CG movie with voice over like at the end of Fallout that this. I just want to add, thank you X-Boxers for saving me $50.
