Such a life should not be mourn but celebrated. If you are sad it is because you are being selfish, you want him here for your own needs and not his. At the end of BG 2 ToB you either become a god or you stay mortal and the divine energy has left you. Either way the story is over and if it is a prequel that wouldn't make any sort of sense for a prequel to use the latest edition of DnD while its sequels use an earlier editions. Best let the Bhaalspawn story be dead and overwith. Frankly I don't see why bother with a 3 in the title.

No I am not. I simply have a midrange system with a midrange video card. Nothing special here. Maybe if people learn to read the Required/Recommended information of the game box some people wouldn't be having these problems. Mostly. I don't know much about laptops to tell the truth. I play on desktop PCs and you could get a 256 MB RAM for less than $50 in some places and a decent midrange 128 MB video card for under $100 nowadays. For a laptop I don't think it is that easy to upgrade.

Pretty much. I don't think it can due to your video card. Just not powerful enough. You should have at least 512 MB of memory and a video card that has at least 128 MB in it, perferably one that uses a NVidia chipset. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :/
