Well, Katrina, being level 4, gave New Orleans a grazing hit and not a direct on. If Katrina hit New Orleans directly there wouldn't be any survivors. That grazing hit was the equivelent of a level 2 hurricane. As for the poverty and welfare, I do think that our welfare system needs a major reform, but it is a symptom of the problem and that problem is poverty.

I don't overly care too much about gamelength. Yes, shorter games are the norm and that is why I have branched out from just CRPGs. The problem I have with these shorter games is how quickly the character can become a godlike character. Jade Empire, for example, you can get above 20th level in relatively short amount of time and be a god against all enemies. Seriously, where is the fun of being uber powerful and all your enemies are nothing but pissants? I like a little challenge in my games please. If JE had proper level pacing we should have finished the game between 7th and 10th level.

I was raised Christian but have studied other religions, including Islam and Judaism. From my experiences with people of these faiths, and reading the works themselves, I have come to my conclusion that I hate God and I will never worship a screwed up git as itself no matter how much It begs me to.
