It is still a mod, but I will probably reinstall KotOR 2 once it is done and give it a whirl.

However what is bad for one may be good for another. Bad and good are subjective concepts.

Science is and always will be one's "best guess." I have known people who have smoked heavily for 60 years and never develop lung cancer or any other smoking related diseases while I have also known people who started smoking and got the early stages of lung cancer after 5 years. In the end its all random chaos if something happens or not. Sometimes it is more than likely "something" will happen if faced with the right circumstances but it is still random. You can either prepare yourself fo the worse case scenerio or take it day by day and hope for the best. Either way, science can only guess what is likely to happen and thats all we got to work with. Scientists can guess right, some guess wrong, but not all will guess the same.

He does have a point that different cultures and civilizations have different laws and rules that govern them. However I think that there is a need for all governments and religious institutions to remove policies that inhibit human expression and infringes of human freedoms.

Well, when it comes to JE I am mostly satisfied with the game. Best CRPG to come out in 2005 hands down. If Bioware was expecting it to sell as well as KotOR, a cross platform game with a successful franchise pushing it, then they were being idiots.

Not for me.

Graphics have never really impressed me that much. It is the rules engine and story of the game where I like to focus on. You are forgetting you are talking to someone from the days of Zork and no matter how good graphics can be they can never be as good as the ones visualized in one's own mind.

Its still Might and Magic in name only. Personally I would simply drop the MM portion and just make a new series that can be judged on its own merits. MM brings too much bagagge.

I value a game based on what the developers and publishers put into both prior and post release. If the companies are known for great support of games post release that makes me want to buy the game even more. If not, I usually wait several months and see what support it will get. If I was still PC gaming I would wait about 6 months before getting NWN 2 for Obsidian and Atari have a poor history of supporting their games. As for mods putting value on something that has a great deal of uncertainty such as is stupid. You said with "probably good content" and I prefer not to deal with probabilities, only certainties. Your analogy is false. With a DVD player I can buy more and more DVDs to add to my collection and the DVDs are done by professional manufacturers, and created by companies who strive to make a product worth buying. They have a financial risk and thusly motivated to release the best product possible. Mods are done by amateurs to support their chosen game to mod. They are not developers, not publishers, not a company with financial backing, just simple modders. I will judge NWN 2 as I have judge Jade Empire, Knights of the Old Republic, Icewind Dale, Knights of the Old Republic 2, Neverwinter Nights 1, Fallout 1, Baldur's Gate 2, and so forth and so on. I will judge NWN 2 on its own merits as I have on all games that I have played. No more and no less.

I played one campaign in NWNConnections and while it was fun it still online gameplay and I just overall don't like it. I kept an open mind and gave it a try, but if I am going to play with people it will be face to face only.

To bad sport games suck.

Just by the graphics alone it looks like a cheap Warcrap 3 knockoff and I hated that game. Looks like Atari has another loser. Has there been a DnD game worth playing since the Infinity Engine was retired? I haven't seen any.
