  1. I do not hunt because I don't see any point to it. If I want to food I go to the local grocery store.
  2. Hey, I didn't say I wasn't going to get the game. I plan on buying it on release but I expect it to be another basic DnD romp with better graphics than the first time around. At least Obsidian is doing things right for the sequel unlike Bioware. What the hell were they thinking in making a DnD game, which is balanced for a party of at least 4 in tis structure, nerfed down to a solo act?
  3. I just want to have the option of not playing a freaking Jedi. No more and no less. Okay the Force is part of Star Wars, yippy freaking skippy. Let me tell you something, boyo, there are a lot more non-force sensitives out in the SW universe than there are Force Sensitives. I have no freaking problem people wanting to play as Jedi or Sith just as long as they don't have a problem that I don't want to. I want to play a simple scoundrel or Scout, using the allowed KotOR classes for example. What I want is options. Oh then we get these jerkwads, its "Knights" of the Old Republic. Yeah, thanks for sharing. I can read you know and being a knight is more than being a Jedi or having the force. Its about fighting for an ideal. Carth Onasi is has much a "Knight" of the Old Republic as much as any freaking Jedi. Same goes with Disciple. At least you have an option of not making him a Jedi prick. It doesn't say "Jedi Knights of the Old Republic" now does it. But no, you kiddies have to have your Uber Munchkin characters in a game that has no freaking challenge to it in the first place.
  4. Jesus H. Christ, people. FIne. Play your stupid uber powerful jedi pieces of shat. I know why not have your characters have all the freaking force powers right at the beginning so that way if even on bugger goes aggro on you you can kill them instantly. Oh better freaking yeat, Why don't the devs let you use the force to blow up stars in supernovas. Oh, what a freaking great game that would be, Its people like you that are one of the reasons why I hate Star Wars games. Oh, I hate to break it to you freakmonkeys, but there are more than Jedi and Sith traditions in the SW galaxy.
  5. Its the same basic toolset with some added goodies. I mean its not the only CRPG being released with a toolset next year. That is hardly innovative or something to get overly excited about.
  6. Its just another DnD game but with pretter graphics. I mean it s not going to be that much different from NWN 1.
  7. Why is he missing his forehead?
  8. What color?
  9. Isn't next year 2006?
  10. Its just not movies. When was the last time we got a traditional story rich CRPG with good three dimensional character development? Its been a few years.
  11. Thing is I don't really care about the flaws. I mean this is an internet forum, not a research paper that needs to use Courier 12 font and double spaced.
  12. Exactly. I remember watiching the extended version of Chronicles of Riddick for the first time and man, it was far superior to the original cut. It actually explained the real back story of the character far better and gives Riddick a better motivation to do what he does.
  13. That is mighty high settings. The resolution doesn't need to be that high. Personally I can't really tell much of a difference between 800x600 and 1280x1024 in most games.
  14. At least they didn't post a link. Man, I hate that crap.
  15. Nice advetisement. Do a radio commercial next time.
  16. Just remember K.I.S.S.. Keep it simple, stupid. If you make it overly convoluted then no one will want to play it. Keep it streamline, keep it simple, but engaging. Unncecessary complexities slows down the game.
  17. Better "Oz" than "Prison Break."
  18. Actually I have been around a few monkeys. We game every Thursday night. On a serious note I have done serious studies and research on primate behavior and learning in several different classes. English Literature can cover quite a number of topics.
  19. Well, since you asked....
  20. Actually I like that idea.
  21. Listen. There are over 6 billion humans on this planet. If a thousand die, a hundred thousand die, a million die, our species will survive. We are in no threat of extinction. Add to the problems of overpopulation the only thing that hasn't have us completely annihilate the natural resources of our little mudball is the fact we have this self destructive instinct. As top of the food chain, killing each other is the only thing nature has to keep our population in check and even then its not doing such a good job of it. Do I care? I care about the species as a whole. I care about it a lot. I also care about this plaent a lot to and let me tell you something, earth would be a lot better off if we never came down from the trees.
  22. CAT FIGHT! (w00t) Um... You know I should let you read one of my term papers. It actually deals with these issues of human instinct and intelligence, at least portrayed in literature.
