You couldn't buy a horse? That sounds very stupid. Depending on the cultural background of the character I would give them a horse, either a light warhorse or a normal riding horse. One of my players made a character who spend all his feats he got dealing with his horse. He took pretty much all the feats dealing with being mounted on a horse: Mounted Archery, Mount Combat, Ride By Attack, etc...

Crying for Freedom of Speech is irrelevant in this case since WoW is a privately owned product and Blizzard can set what is acceptable and what isn't acceptable behavior on their private forums, games, and what not. Blizzard isn't the government in case you haven't noticed.

No matter the DnD campaign my character always had a horse or some form of riding animal. There are so many things you can do with one in many situations, both in and out of combat.

The main reason why I didn't buy Bloodlines when it first came out was because of ToEE. ToEE stank right up there with PoOR 2 and Descent into Undermountain. Bloodlines was the best out of the three but too little too late.

I don't know about you guys but in my DnD campaigns horses are often very important in combat strategy, transportation, and hauling things. They aren't superficial in the least.

I agree but in WoW it is obvious that is not the case because this person saw it necessary to form a separate guild. She was trying to get away from that sort of behavior which Blizzard was allowing and look what their response was! Now, they are apologizing. If they were sorry they wouldn't have threatened her and allow such behavior on their MMORPG in the first place.

Hurlshot for the win! Gabs, that only works if the larger population doesn't use homosexual terms in a negative manner. This person wanted to get away from the constant gay bashing that happens in many online guilds in MMORPGs by making a guild that doesn't pull that crap. Just because someone is gay does not mean they deserve to be continually harassed.

Did't they say there will be ridable horses in the game a while back and now they are going back on their word?
