  1. I don't know. I got about 30 to 40 mods hooked in. Francesco's mod I beleive.
  2. I doubt that. I think you are the biggest Fanboy of Bioware, not I, but then again that is like the kettle telling the pot that its black. Doesn't really matter how big of a hole is dug here for it is just words onthe screen and words such as these are meaningless.
  3. Um... not if you get a good level scaling mod which I have.
  4. No, not really. When I buy a Bioware game I expect to get screwed. When I am not, I am pleasantly surprised. Besides, I doubt the X Box 360 will be below $100 USD for many many many years.
  5. Leveling in Oblivion increases the core stats as well as the Fatigue, Hit points, and Magicka. I wouldn't exactly call that nothing.
  6. Yep. I got the X Box when it was priced under $100 USD then I got the game. I will do the same for Mass Effect.
  7. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=558718 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We already knew you were referencing that, Alanschu. And I have given you my answer on that. Issue resolved.
  8. Its would be hard for me to buy their up coming games right now. I doubt the X Box 360 will be coming down under $100 any time soon.
  9. Um... I leveled each time I got the level indicator. And I increased my stats based on what I am doing, mostly Intelligence and Will due to the fact he is a wizard type. Also I haven't beaten the game either. A CRPG is a CRPG, Alanschu. The leveling process is different from rules system to rules system, but it is the same concept.
  10. I would have prefered them not saying anything about horses but since they did at least they didn't wait til the game was released to give us the news. All developers are liars, Alanschu, but at least Obsidian eventually tells the truth.
  11. Yeah, I so wanted to do mounted combat DnD style in NWN 2 but at least they told us months in advance instead of waiting til the game was released.
  12. Good or not, it is how I view it and that is good enough for me.
  13. There is a difference here. Obsidian I trust. Bioware I don't.
  14. 3 levels in a half hour is too fast. When I played NWN for the first time I was level 20 before the end of Chapter 3, so that is 20 levels in 35 hours which is way too fast. Too much power in too short of time equals one badly designed game. One of the things I like about Oblivion. When I hit the 20 hour mark I was only a 4th level character. 1 level for every 5 hours is just perfect. Too bad I had to use a mod to get it.
  15. No, buit pics of the game and how the spells work are far more sbstantial than just mere words. I could say that I have a red inflated rubber ball in my closet but that doesn't make it true. There is no proof of that and you would have to choose to believe what I type or not. Now if I had pics of a red inflated rubber ball in my closet then the words that I have typed has more substance to them. So far Bioware has only said they have something with little or no proof that they do. Sorry, but I don't believe a word what Bioware says until there is irrefutable proof that backs up what they say.
  16. Pics please. Lets see how those spells work in game.
  17. Oh, I will. I will. First things first though, I need to know exactly how long this game is from a credible source. As it stands it is reported by 20 hours through multiple translations by the headman himself, which I consider a very credible source, though this isn't through a credible means. So I will have to wait and see what the QA guys say. J.E. has convinced me to consider them a much more credible source than Fergie.
  18. Nothing substantial. Substantial material would be screenshots, concept art, gameplay videos, and what not. Forum highlights are not substantial material.
  19. Just use spoil tags. Not that big of a deal. Besides in most games I figure out its plot within 30 minutes of playing anyway so it doesn't really matter.
  20. Don't know and don't really care. As far as I am concerned he could be spouting off nonsense. Only place I get any news on Dragon Age is the news sites which has been very spartan of anything of substance.
  21. The world can **** itself inside Elminster's pointy hat.
  22. I have intention of buying NWN 2, its only a question of how much I am willing to spend and when it reaches that price.
