When BGDA was released they spouted 20 to 25 hours of gameplay when it is not even n the double digits if you played it on easy or in normal.

Is this personal bias or is there a bench mark data that hows that this is the case?

It is an onboard video card. It seems to have Pixel Shader 3.0.

Okay, I got myself a new E Machine and so far it is proven to be a tough little bugger. Now the question here is which is better my 256 meg X700 Pro or the motherboard based GeForce 6100 that is integrated with shared RAM up to 128 megs?

The Premium Mods are not expansions. They are mods that you buy. Mods and patches are icing on the cake but not the cake itself. I only count new and full games on this matter.

I am hardly a console fan. I am just a fan of games regardless of platform, though I do prefer the PC over any other platform. Unlike you however I am not averse in getting a console, when it is cheap enough, just to try something new.

Nope. Because they were POS short arse games that had no substance. Just because its on a console doesn't mean that they can break canon in the setting or use ditch the DnD game mechanic. Also the game was way to freaking easy. Beaten the game in 12 hours on hard and it is supposed be a 25 hour game. PATHETIC! So far there has only been 1 good DnD game on console and it was released for the Sega Genesis years ago.

They said they might work on a PC version but obviously they have beter things to do than port a game over. Jade Empire is good on the X Box but a PC port would be bad. Patches and mods are not new games, Volourn.

In any case I don't squarely blame LA. Its Obsidian's game and Volourn is right, they did sign the contract. I blame LA and OBsidian equally but what is done is done. The real test is Neverwinter Nights 2. That game will determine if Obsidian learn the lessons of KotOR 2.

There is no such thing as a bug free game.

Updates and games being worked on are irrelevant. Updates for a pretty stable game is icing on the cake and the game has been out for years now. Its nice of Bioware but NWN isn't a new release. The majority of those whole have bought NWN and its expansions have moved on to other games. Also games that are not released are irrelevant because... well they aren't rleased and the general gaming public has no access to the game so they can play it. A product that is not relreased is not relevant tot he cnsumer til it is can be consumed (played in this case).

As long as that change is for the better and not for the worse. Change for the sake of change is never good.

In any case, when Bioware releases a new PC game again they will become relevant to PC gaming again.

Its only better if you have insurance and the money to pay for it. Otherwise they over charge you up the ass and harass you till you pay. $800 for a x ray and some blood work. $800 freaking dollars. Absolutely ridiculous.
