  1. The mystic knight name comes from the Dragon’s Dogma class and the Knights of the ancient order of the mystic chain, an order that emphasized three aspects of the Arthurian legend. That’s why it is a trilogy of paladins all encompassing a different part of the mission of their order. weird and obscure references I found when making the subclass.
  2. The paladins I plan on making are focused around summoned weapons, based on some cool yugioh cards, so Umbral Mystics will be able to summon a black blade and gain access to some sneak abilities (Swords of Concealing Light). Sol Mystics will have a light blade that deals more damage to Vessels (Swords of Revealing Light) and Luna Mystics will have a blade made of blue fire (Swords of Burning Light). I have made progress in developing the classes and will post a sneak pic of the summoned weapons and armor soon! Also I found your point about potentially making them overpowered correct, so I have removed many of the abilities and some will only be granted at Power Lvl 1,3,5,7,9. At least for Umbral Mystic. I actually got the request for such subclass on the nexus and really liked the concept presented.
  3. You are right that paladin multiclasses are great, the auras and the continuous healing from abilities is great. Paladin subclasses in my opinion are just not as exciting and specialized as I have come to expect. The drawbacks I listed are quite severe to begin with: Losing flames of devotion for a starting ability is a great hinder to overall early game effectiveness. Spiritual weapons are in general effective till the late game but fall short after. The light abilities, beacon and light of pure zeal are in general not that useful and make sense for the concept of the class not to be available. The paladin also loses access to sacred immolation. I could add more drawbacks, making it even more specialized. Might end up looking like a whole new class. One of the ways to make it balanced would be for me to make the zeal cost for those granted abilities a little higher than normal, maybe even shorten the spell list. Thanks for the feedback, adding a paladin subclass with heavy penalties but cool positives is hard. Will see how it works more in game before any release, currently doesn’t feel too out of place since it is similar to a paladin Shaen priest multiclass.
  4. More of a sneak peak (I have already created the items and some of the abilities), I will start of with this concept, I aim to complete with the trilogy of Paladins. First Umbral mystic (Shadow manipulating knight), second Luna Mystic (Anti-Mage), last Sol Mystic (Light manipulating knight) Umbral Mystics: The Umbral Mystics are paladins that specialize in the manipulation of shadows and conjured weaponry. They don’t have access to many paladin abilities but have their own spell list that corresponds to their order and mission. (+Deceptive and rational, -Aggressive and Honest) DESCRIPTION: The Umbral Mystics are a branch of the Mystics paladin order that rose to prominence in tandem with Animancy in the Aedyr empire. The Umbral Mystics wear black clothing and armor. They are involved in covert operations against rogue animancers and dark creatures that result from their art. Shadows rise in servitude to their willpower and zeal, they coalesce to form their shrouded weaponry and armors. The Umbral Paladins gain a spell list of abilities that correspond to their order: 1: Escape 2: Summon Sword of Umbra 3: Ryngrim’s repulsive visage 4: Shadowing beyond 5: Ryngrim’s Enervating Terror 6: Smoke Cloud 7: Wall of Draining 8: Flurry of Blades 9: Shadow Reaver Form (Black smoky armor with two Swords of Umbra at hand) Umbral Mystics lose access to Beacon, light of Pure zeal and burn abilities of the paladins (Same style of progression as Trickster rogue)
  5. When making compatible versions for different mods, paste the part they added into the progression table into your progression table. Basically make a common progression table for both mods.
  6. Hello, I am experimenting with making a custom druid Subclass. I have encountered a problem however, to create a spiritshift form you have to change "NewFormAppearance". This requires art assets. How would it be possible to create a custom spiritshift form?
  7. The concept of turning into what you are sworn to destroy is not exactly alien, see Matt Mercer’s Blood Hunter D&D class for example. As for the spiritshift of the Wheelbreaker, I think that maybe a Skuldr/ Skuldr King would be really cool, since making a werebat would be difficult.
  8. No worries, the fix I found for now is to just copy part of the Progression table for Priest of Rymrgand (Auto grant and unlock abilities) into my progression tables and just load my mods after yours. It works great and my "More Priest Subclasses" package is now compatible with the Priest of Rymrgand mod. :}
  9. New Version 1.0.1 Fixed the issue with the spiritual weapon of Hylea for Priest of Hylea not showing up and added the italian translation for Priest of Ondra, credits to kilay! :}
  10. That's a cool idea!!! Will look into on how I could implement Priest of Galawain into the game. :} Also maybe priest of Nemnok? Perhaps lol Love the Silvan/Leaflord idea too much, so I will work on that too :D
  11. Now compatible with Priest of Rymrgand mod Just download the second file and make sure my mods are loaded after the Priest of Rymrgand mod in the deadfire mod manager!
  12. Keyword IDs, that’s just for the words like, fire, elements, etc. taht are tied to items that increase items or abilities of those keywords, wouldn’t change the type. There must be a way to change it if you go to the abilities game data bundle, find flames of devotion, then go to the Attack ID the ability is using. Search it up in the Attack game data bundle file and change it from there.
  13. Hey everyone I made a mod that includes all the custom subclasses I made into one package and introduces the Priest of Ondra subclass. This mod adds three new priest subclasses to the game. The priest of Abydon, Hylea and Ondra. All come with unique abilities, progression tables and playstyle. The Priest of Hylea Custom Subclass: The Priest of Hylea is a fast and chaotic caster, hurling foes with gusts of wind and causing destruction with the turbulent dissonance in their songs and poetry. Description: Hylea is the goddess of songs, arts, language and maternity. She is the matron of sky creatures and her sphere of influence includes the sky and the wind element. Her followers are made up of poets, artists and bards. Her temples are located in mountain tops are built without roofs in order for her followers to be closer to her domain. Her priests celebrate life and live theirs to the fullest. (Favored Dispositions: Benevolent and Passionate, Disfavored Dispositions: Cruel and Agressive) The priest gains spells that correspond to Hylea when they reach a new power level. Winter Wind Summon Hylean familiars: Summon Birds from Hylea's domain. They provide a perception and power level bonus. Quite Fragile but fast. Description: God of golems, machines, industry, strength, hope, and aspiration. Favored most commonly upon the laboring class. "The Golem" is thought to have once been able to take a human-resembling form as most of the other gods are, but then been somehow killed, only to forge himself back into existence inside the shell of an immense golem. Various accounts of his death exist, and none is considered definitive. (Favored dispositions: honest and stoic, disfavored dispositions: deceptive and clever) The priest gains spells that correspond to Abydon when they reach a new power level.Spells and Abilities gained: Flames of the White Forge: Adds burn damage to attack, identical to Flames of Devotion skill, but with white flames fx Blade of the White Forge: Summons a white simmering blade made of Durgan steel. Scales similarly to spiritual weapon and has the effect "Quickness", which reduces recovery time of attacks. (similar to the "Last Blade of the White Forge" from POEI) Twin stones: the hammer of Abydon could send shockwaves across the earth Ironskin: known as the god of constructs, Abydon rebuilt himself into a being made of metal Calling the World's Maw Embrace the Earth's Tallon Rusted Armor: Corrode poorly forged armor Unbreakable: Rebuild yourself as Abydon once did (Passive) Artifacts of the Pargrunen: Fabricate weapons and a breastplate out of thin air (similar to "Citzal's Enchanted Armory"), Incarnate/ Weapons of the white forge: Expend a substatial amount of energy to summon many weapons of the Pargrunen, applies similar debuff to incarnate (-5 power levels for ~30secs), spell is similar to "They Did Sing a Song of Carnage, Fair The Priest of Ondra Custom Subclass: The Priest of Ondra is a a balanced caster, summoner and fighter. People bring tokens to her temples of things they wish to forget, and her clergy sees the tokens cast into the sea. Her priests draw upon the lost memories of the Salt Well and the monastic practices of the Abbey of the Fallen Moon monks. (Favored Dispositions: Passionate and Aggressive, Disfavored Dispositions: Stoic and Diplomatic) The priest gains spells that correspond to Hylea when they reach a new power level. 14. Yea np, as long as you give credit to the mod and a link for a download I am more than happy to share my mod :} Will do (should've mentioned that I intended to). Thanks! I had him done up with Wael and it just felt weird. >_> yea lel feels more appropriate for our big handed poet to worship Hylea
  15. While I have played around with summoning spells in my mods, I found it diffult to get the creature and character prefabs. I think there should be a way to list them out. After we have the names of the character prefabs we want, Lurker and Sporeling, it should be a piece of cake to mod this class into the game B} Cool idea by the way!
  16. Yea np, as long as you give credit to the mod and a link for a download I am more than happy to share my mod :}
  17. Yea it's a bug we noticed this week. Seems that the way the game handles progression tables it allows only one file to overide the progression tables of the vanilla game, it doesn't add the new progression table directions, merely overrides them. A way to fix this would be to have a shared progression table override .gamedatabundle file, one that has the auto grant and the general abilities of all, priest of Hylea, Abydon and Rymrgand into a single progression table. I haven't gotten around to making such a fix since I have focused my time developing the Priest of Ondra. My mods Priest of Hylea and priest of Abydon were made compatible using the aforementioned fix with no resulting issues. Edit: Any mods that change the priest progression table without being made compatible will have the same effect, for example PoE tweeks. All classes unlocked works great with these mods since the subclasses unlocked were already in the vanilla progression table.
  18. Make every dialogue choice for the watcher like this: AaaRrr! [insert dialogue here] Edit: make stoic dialogue choices: [Quietly drinks Rum]
  19. Just wondering, is there a way to list out all the character prefabs, that'd be fun to play with when I am making a class with a summon ability. If not it would help greatly to at least have them listed, so far I am using attack game data to find the character prefabs and change it from there. Also, I agree having the abilty of adding more ability icons would be great.
  20. I am working on a priest of Ondra, when I finish it I will combine all my mods in a package
  21. New effects for Weapons of the White forge! Also Italian translation is up! Credits to @kilay
