I think CEP is justa glorified HAK so it doesnt overwrite the original 2da filesand so on, so for you to use CEP in HotU you would have to add the apropriate HAK to the modules by editing them in toolset. But im not an expert on NWN (and have forgoten alot of what I once knew) and I have no idea what kind of conflicts this could cause, so I offer no garantes

Character Creation- By the book or DIY?
Loof replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Pen-and-Paper Gaming
Usualy acoring to some form of system, seldomly the system printed in the book. But even more seldomly totaly freeform unless done by the GM based on player choosen "character consepts"... -
Do you multiclass your characters in p&p sessions?
Loof replied to ramza's topic in Pen-and-Paper Gaming
well not that I have managed to play much PnP in the last 5 years or so. But when I did play more regularly we didn't use classbased systems so no I don't generaly multiclass. But if I was forced to use a classbased system I would probably multiclass in a vain atempt to escape from the steriotypes... -
True but thats why they are dreams ....

Hmm yeah I guess I can agree with that although I belong to the group that likes a bit of hack 'n slash with my roleplay so dungeons are usualy rather sparese in the campains I play in. Don't think I have ever played a whole game session spent in a dungeon and I definetly don't feel like thats somenthing I need to try anytime soon... But like you say it's justa question of playstyle.

Yeah I think it was called wastelands... never played it myself ... tried khelataar but it was to much bother with the clunky rules And yeah I guess your right about drakar being the closest swedish comparison to D&D. Why not learn some RPG history the acumilation of useless knowlage should be a life goal in itself

hey you have way to few "00100000"s in that string you lazy bum!!! and what does DFLoSD.OBE mean?

Just for your information kraftan "dungeons and dragons" and "drakar och demoner" don't have any relation to each other at all, drakar och demoner was if im not getting confused based of an old english game called basic roleplaying. But since it now has had like 5 editions or so I think its pretty safe to say that its a game of its own without ties to any english game... But yes I share your confusion about whats so terribly fasinating about dungeons... terribly boring invention with very limited roleplaying posibilitys.

chaotic neutral with a slight leaning towards good. Motivation: I both value my freedom and hate planning in any form, im also pretty selfish but generaly help people out if I can without it costing me to much ....

Drat my reading comprehension is at low tide today I see... To make up for it I just looked up a benchmark (anandtech) and acording to the one I looked at the preformance difference is next to nonexistant, looked like 6600GT was a few fps faster in about half the tests and a few fps slower in the rest. So acording to my quick and dirty power/price calculation a 6600GT is a better buy since its about 500kr cheaper. (enligt buggy s

Contrary to the comon opinion most fantasy published today (with the exception of books based on rpg settings) don't feature elves, dwarves and so on. Of all the fantasy books I own (way to many) I would guess that less then 5% use tokenistic races... Anyway as for some recomendations: I second the recomendation of George R.R. Martins "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. Steven Eriksons "Malazan Book of the Fallen" series is also very good but a bit hard to get started on since he drops the reader in the middle of a rather complex setting without any explanation whatsoever. Robin Hobb is also a very good (think someone mentioned her above...). Based on the one book I read by Scott Bakker he is an author to keep your eyes on (the books name was "The Darkness That Comes Before" btw). I also like JV Jones "Sword of Shadow" series is rather good even if it has a terrible title (first books called "cavern of black ice"). A few other fantasy authors I like without any motivation: Steven Brust Lynn Flewelling JK Rowling (potter you know...) Carol Berg Glen Cook Matthew Stover Clive Barker Guy Gavriel Kay Orson Scott Card Neil Gaiman Oh and for the record Pratchet is overrated
