  1. So? Your point is?
  2. Well, NWN 1 is dead now. HAHAHAHA! The King is dead, long live the King sort of thing.
  3. Does that really matter though? The Black Hound never had anything to do with the BG saga and would have been BG3 in name only. It could just as well have been released as a stand alone. If it was that easy, why did they scrap it when they lost the BG PC rights? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because it was probably too late to change the game and the big wigs thought it wouldn't sell without the BG name. Also I think they also lost the DnD rights as well.
  4. People aren't happy unless they can complain about something.
  5. Hey, if he can, and what he does in his off hours is his business, I say go for it. I know a lot of gamers would love to play Jefferson and the most important thing we would finally get Ramza to stop bringing it up.
  6. I would want to play the game in SP mode first but still you have a very good point, Alanschu. Gabs is just being silly.
  7. That would be cool, J.E.
  8. Strictly a false rumor. It was circulating as DX 9.0L but in truth that is just a DirectX program that will make Vista run DX 9.0 software and hardware without the emulation.
  9. And Renaissance Earth had guns.
  10. Its called multitasking.
  11. My thoughts exactly, Jorian. In my view there could easily be a merger of magic and technology if both exists and both could augment each other positively. Technomages would be cool.
  12. Damn you. DAMN YOU, LlYR! *grumbles about not having the game*
  13. Iron Kingdoms is a cool setting. Far more fun than the basic FR fanfare.
  14. I think it makes good gaming options for the players. I even have Golemtech and Necrotech available if the players went that route. Mystical cybernetics FTW! In the campaign one of the big bads is a sorcerer who uses chaositech. A blending of technology and magic based on chaos magics and corruption. Nasty lil' dark elf to boot.
  15. Nah, Dark Raven. :D If Bethesda continues there pattern of game making found in the TES games, the CoC game, and the PotC game, then I have to agree with her assessment but I will wait to make a final judgment till more information is released. Like I said, Shadowstrider, there is an off chance Bethesda might make a proper Fallout 3 but its more likely that they won't.
  16. Well, in my PnP campaign I do have firearms in it. From spyglass rifles, dragon pistols, and hellsbreath rifles, and the such. It all works well in DnD format. Ptolus is a damn good setting. I would love to play a dual pistol shooting wizard, mixing in both technology and magic. That is one of the main drawbacks of standard DnD. It just doesn't take in account that technology, even if powered by magic, advances. Hellsbreath rifles are pretty cool. It is basically a flame thrower that uses alchemist's fire as the ammunition.
  17. For what they are putting into the game DX10 is really needed to pull it all off, unless you have some major DX9 hardware.
  18. I rather have a loaded gun. FIREARMS FTW! Hey, I like guns in my DnD, okay.
  19. Just don't hit him in the face.
  20. I have always seen it as a combination of both power and lust, with varying degrees of which one is dominate depending on the situation. In any case it is abhorrent.
  21. Don't have high expectations and you will never be disappointed.
  22. It is just one minor aspect so I won't condemn the game on it. I just wish I can get my hands on the game today without using D2D.
  23. Good point, deganawida.
