Unless the Democrats can present a decent opponent (unlike Bernie or Hillary) or if the libertarian can pull a miracle out of our asses. I'm kinda swaying that the Democrats are going with a black candidate that way it's a win win for them and their agenda if they win OR lose. If they don't find a way to parry Trumps attacks effectively (see the Republican debates), then yeah, Trump could end up winning. I think Sanders would be pretty good opponent, and they'd be competing for similar bases, only problem is that he's a self labeled socialist, which the Republicans would latch onto like a starving vampire. However, three years is practically an eternity in politics, so, it's impossible to predict how it may play out since the Democrats are in pretty bad shape.

So that specific guy wasn't offended by it, and I don't see any liberals being confused or melting down. Still wasn't being used in any positive manner anyhow.

Always been that way online. As it was in the pub before it. And campfire stories before that.... *realizes he just nuked every mythology ever by accident* *runs* Lol

A little late for that restraining order since Trump already put Mulvaney in there.

And for all we know, Trump might interpret a fatwa as a declaration of war. Although, I guess if it's worded in a way as to actually be a real threat, it could count as a declaration of war causus belli. Khomeini hates the US with a passion, but he isn't stupid and, unlike Trump, is actually a skilled politician.

Not insulting enough. Sure, the fact that the name is of Arabic origin will tick them off, but his namecalling mainly sound like either something that would come out of an elementary school playground or mobster nicknames. The fact that he hasn't yet created one for Rouhani is certainly curious. Then again, his focus has been on North Korea and Rouhani hasn't done anything to really piss off Trump or challenge his ego yet. He really shouldn't be doing that anyway in the first place as its beneath the dignity of the office.

I think the real historical Pocahontas would like her name back, heh. Though yeah, Trump has been using it in a way to try to demean Elizabeth Warren, so, obviously the usage wasn't intended to be a positive nickname.
-
He was referring to Sen. Warren with that, and yeah, I facepalmed and shook my head right there and then. Didn't even notice the Andrew Jackson painting earlier though, which is a heck of a blunder (the having the painting there is the blunder, that is).

The company buying it said that the Koch brothers won't have any influence, but it still has the taint of being owned by them. Anyways, in an extreme last minute 11th hour wildcard bid, a former aide of John Kelley is launching a write in campaign. https://www.politico.com/story/2017/11/27/lee-busby-alabama-senate-race-2017-260985?lo=ap_a1 Given that there is just two weeks before the Alabama election, he has a nanometer above zero of a chance of winning, but it may be enough to leech a couple hundred votes from either side. So, the Republicans got their wish for someone to do a write-in campaign, but it's too late to have any significant affect on it unless it comes down to a few hundred votes or something.

Pictures of your Games Episode X - The Journey to Babel

Doesn't look like he'd take anything alive with a mace like that. Kind of sounds like a cue that you're supposed to be defeated there. -
"given that he has the audacity to be butthurt over it" is why, and yeah, I know the times person of the year doesn't neccesarily have nice people every time.

Come to think of it, wouldn't something like that be what a communist country does? I'm all for transparency, just musing here. Seems socialist.... Or maybe it's just the Nordic country association.

Time says "NOPE! That's not how we do it!" http://thehill.com/homenews/media/361760-time-fires-back-at-trump-after-person-of-the-year-claim Trump is just being butthurt over not being in the top anymore, especially losing to two women. Taylor Swift and San Juan (capital of Puerto Rico) mayor Carmen Cruz no less. Given that he has the audacity to be butthurt over it (not surprising he is butthurt over it, unfortunately) I don't think he deserves to be there anyway.

I've read other sources saying that he may be flipping to Mueller, but no mention of it resulting from !ueller targeting his son. Which is a normal lawyer tactic, even if it seems like a dirty trick sort of thing. There's also other reasons why his lawyer would stop communicating with Trumps team (which is what's generating the speculation) that wouldn't mean he is talking to Mueller. However, if he is talking to Mueller (perhaps in exchange for a plea deal as he's already in some legal trouble) that's a pretty major milestone. Trump and his team seem to keep expecting it to wrap soon, but this kind of thing generally takes years.

Belgium, Hawaii to ban, regulate in-game loot boxes as gambling
smjjames replied to ktchong's topic in Computer and Console
What about the smaller ones which publish pay2win apps and stuff? It's one thing to go after big companies like EA, but the apple App Store is a different ecosystem and in app purchases are rampant. -

I'd rather do away with the ones that are pay to win or are shiny objects to impatience. About the only in-app purchases that I'm okay with are ones to remove ads, those that allow you to try a limited portion of it and buy full later (BigFish games uses the same business model for their mobile versions of games as they do their PC and MAC games), and possibly episodic things. -
The heck does Charles Manson have to do with the economy? Course, it's just Laura Ingrahm not being able to resist tweaking the NYT.

It would definetly be preferable if we had politicians who knew and understood what they were talking about as far as 'free to play' (which is a misnomer btw, when micro transactions and pay to win come into play), namely, our generation the millennialis, but they're just starting to get into politics, it'll be decades before there are a majority of millennial generation in Congress. -

About time ingame/inapp purchases are cracked down on, I hate the in-game/app purchases (the ones that allow you to get for free and pay for full later are fine though) because a lot of those have become pay-to-win and I just dislike the way that games have become with that stuff. Similar for DLC, but some companies are better with it than others. -
What do you mean by synchronicity?
-
For this little slice if the Deadfire? Yeah, that can't be right. That's a backer beta bug. That range is supposed to correspond to the full map, not the backer beta map. Oh, that makes sense.
-
Lolwut your sarcasm dam. @Adam: Awesome.
-
Hey Adam, maybe you can just give us an average or like a range? :D

I see, didn't catch that part. Also can't open a zip file on mobile as computer is in for repairs until the 22nd.

We don't know if it'll exist in the full game. I'd imagine it covers a pretty small percentage of the complete map. We know. It's a side quest area, like Dyrford in PoEt 1. Oh okay, cool, I didn't know that anyhow. Still wonder as well how much of a percentage of the world map it takes up.
