  1. Second alternative is Streetfighter/Devoted - this guy get +2pen  and to 50% recovery speed with infinity health, with bloodier state this guy immune to all afflictions without food, with unbending it can clear any fight with big group of monsters

Human | Max Perception, Intellect, Strength

  2. Yeah, i was also thinking about Ghost Heart/Priest of Magran. In theory this sounds pretty powerful. Anyone willing to try this out here? ;)

I don't like this kind of challenges, but I  naked killed  Ukaizo with this setup, so the biggest problem is group fights. At the end +30 ACC just eliminate bosses on PotD

  3. What about weapon ? without weapon your choices limited ... well to much :D Without weapon - Ghost Heart/Priest of Magran

For Race - Amua with immune to might affliction (dexterity affliction can negated with evasive roll, constitution you can simple ignore, and might will garant immunity to stun), everything else captain banquet

    MAX INT/DEX/PERC

Summon Bear will be good tank
Withdraw + Evasive roll - garant that you will survive any situation
Pistol form DW summon weapon will give you stupid amount of recover speed and legendary weapon to destroy bosses from long range
Death Door + Salvation of Time will give you some utility to survive group fights, still not sure if it possible to restart boat fight, but even then 40s of invulnerability make this combination very strong
Storm Of Holy Fire/Thorny Roots - Good combination to eliminate group of enemies

  4.

Not only that, but Reckless Brigandine progression is non linear, and you can't fill all 9 slot (not sure about this value), Reckless Brigandine will give you (20 - 25)% Action Speed in average, for fighter classes this mean 17% recovery speed. 17% situational recovery speed or 30% to stun retaliation and 75% damage reduction for all range attacks :D

Where are you getting the 75% damage reduction for all range attacks ? Are you assuming that Patinated Plate will always cause underpenetration and Reckless Brigandine never will, or am i misunderstanding you? Because the way you seem to word it seems rather biased. It seems to me you are pointing out the best case scenario of Patinated Plate and comparing it to the average scenario of Reckless Brigandine.

Because all range weapon has pierce damage, and Reckless Brigandine has 4 less pierce armor, this mean 1 - 2 skeleton ranger will shred you on the pieces, no matter how much you AS you has

    >  It seems to me you are pointing out the best case scenario of Patinated Plate and comparing it to the average scenario of Reckless Brigandine.

All enemies ranger weapon usually has Exceptional quality and ~(9 - 10) + (2 - 4) AR from PotD scaling - which mean each +1 armor multiplicative (yes damage reduction is multiplicative) reduce incoming damage by 25%, the simplest way to make your front-line get +75% damage reduction is take one potion of magic shield

This is average scenario for Patinated Plate, I played only solo with DD mod and I have Build around this armor, I know about what I talking, I even recorded a lot of videos with this armor

It make you near immune to most of melee guys in the game

    > Average scenario of Reckless Brigandine.

As I told this armor is completely useless for frontline without deflection stacking or unbending from fighter, on this forum we also discussion about  Brigandine, and average speed bonus is something like 17% recovery speed

  5. 6. I also didn't see Ranger/Berserker with Watershaper's Focus :D I think with current Lion Spirit implementation it can overcome even Envoker

This combination can stack a lot of accuracy to get max bonus from Barbarian skills

    +10 Ranger mark
    +15 Lion's spirit
    +4   Ranger talant
    +4   Ranger ring
    +10 Targets with < 50HP

    -> 43 Base acc

For all attack which target forittude

    +10 (stagger from frenzy)
    +10 (sick from rod)

    -> 20

For same target which attacked by your companion

    +10 acc from stalker link

    -> 10

I also suggest to pick Hobbling Shot, to give additional +10 acc vs reflexes

  7. Each one clocked in at about 84 seconds for me. 170 seconds of no damage, using up my heals was impossible to recover from.

I don't know what items have arcane cleanse or the like on them. If I did I would have used them. Maybe you have a grimoire with something like that in it?

    Ranger can reduce buff duration

  8. Fighter/Pally

Equip: Horns of The Bleak MotherRing of Focused Flame
    Weapons: Rust's PoignardBeza's Toothed Blade

    Paly/Chanter

Weapon: Magistrate's Cudgel (Mace Modal) + Shattered Vengeance (Use Club modal to reduce dragon will)

    Monk/Rogue

    Weapon: Sun and Moon (Modal)

This setup with flanked status will reduce dragon armor by 4 and make all your character ~+20 - 35 acc (+40 to main), feel free to constantly interrupt it with monk/rogue

  9.

Humility: 20% resist against two damage types is low tier? Do you realize how good this is if you build a bit around it?

Again a list that was done with little in-game experience.

There are 8 damage  types in the game. This adds resistance to two of them (albeit they are two of the most common ones). But, assuming you are putting it on a backliner, you are adding a stat (tankiness) to a role that doesn't necessarily need it. I guess you could make it work on a frontline dps aswell but there are just so many good alternatives you can grab early game if you want a low recovery frontline armor, or a high recovery super tanky armor. Again you claim its done with little in-game experience which is a claim you make with no evidence. I do agree that putting it into tier - D might be harsh. Please, if you have a suggestion for a build/situation it is consistently good, then I would be happy to hear a civil well thought out response.

There a general problem with your guide, your B-S system will make new players misunderstand armor mechanics. You can classify armor by type, write few words about build that can use it..., but now its look like you even didn't check builds list on this forum and only want advertise your own content

Lets me write some example what I expect from your guide

Heavy armor - usually used by tank builds or builds that can overcome recovery speed penalty

Tip: To overcome recovery speed penalty use Abraham pet or Armor Grace + Pet (didn't remember pet name)

    • Patinated Plate - good vs group of melee enemies with high attack speed and middle fortitude, bad vs enemies that has crush/shock damage (builds list with this armor)
    • Blackened Plate Armor - good vs enemy that has very high AR because armor passive stack with any other AR reduction debuff (builds list with this armor)

  10. POTD + level scaling all upwards. My party was level 13. Dragon had 3 red skulls indicating its much higher level than me. Result? Took me 30 seconds to kill him and he didnt even do a SINGLE hit on me because of interruptions. It went so easy that I decided to reload save to try solo it with my watcher streetfighter/devoted combo. Even tho streetfighter was disadvantage here because of that recovery pentalty I still soloed it without taking a single hit! Dragon tried to hit me once but he missed. Took around 45 sec this time.

WTF is this? A joke? How can I solo supposedly one of the strongest enemies in a game in highest difficulty setting without taking a single hit or use consumables while being underleveled and having class that put me in disadvantage rather than helping?

I found only one explanation - Obsidian make game easier to make more people enjoy PotD and feel more satisfied (maybe to increase selling). They can make game much harder after Beta, but we got what we got, look on reviews they all positive

At the end they promise combat oriented DLC

Currently I offer to check https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/43. This is DD mod

    reduced XP

    +30% HP to enemies

all bosses should have +6 level over yours, in theory less crits, more misses

  11.

Please be more specific which builds you use to rate weapon: Scorde, Fire in The Hole, Kitchen Stove those all can overcome The Red Hand  in DPS ... and Amaliorra on TIER D :(

Why do you  think Amaliorra is good? Even with the alternative enchants it seems pretty useless to me except against Vessels.

Amaliorra give you accuracy for all your attack vs Vessel, currently  the hardest fights in the game Fampyrs/Ukaizo has a lot of Vessels, give this weapon to your wizard/priest and your spells will do ~+50% more damage
