  1. Yes, it sucked to meander across the world map, hoping faintly that I'd bump into some story during my great search for the Big Bad. Unfortunately, I wandered into the bad guy's hideout (actually a diversion lolz), completed a rather lame 'full circle' skit and wailed on a giant goat-man with a mass-party-rush before I could encounter any sense of purpose or meaning. I mean, good god, I got bored of 'goodie runs up and kills baddie' long ago. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What? They story starts off before you start the game. The "old man" starts off by tell you about how Jared's stone was created. The music played during the credits are moving. They seem to kinda tell a story. A story that starts out sad and ends good but one that isn't done yet.
  2. Ya if it had updated graphics and if it didn't come out in 2000. Than I doubt that any game could stand in it's way. The story's amazing.
  3. It was amazing! The ending was one of the best parts! (This game kindy makes me want Obsidian to make KOTOR3) I've never played a game this good! But on a side note does any one know if I can replace the music that plays when you're at the main menu with the music that plays during the credits?
  4. Yes I did search for info about it and I even checked game faqs. What I want to know is how do I get the Pessimist Upgrade for HK-47? Is it a mod, is it in the game or does it not exist.
  5. Killing my own race? Hell ya!
  6. Was I the only one who believed that it was not a mining droid at all that got T3, but an HK? As in "HE just dumped you down the mining shaft?" That's how I remember it, anyway. It is a possibility. Many of these questions address problems that have never happened to me, and might possibly be related to a specific setup or game. For instance, the sound crackling. An add-on card may handle things differently than onboard sound. It's all about the drivers, as it is with video. I have noted differences between my games on the same machine, however (glitches, etc) and I don't really know why this happens. But mileage may vary, and for me this type of thing isn't a game-killer as long as the story is good. My thanks to the person who posted the cut Bao-Dur dialogue. So many of the passages (both in and out game) were beautifully written and characterized. I've replayed just to listen and appreciate. I think I'll remember that more than how many CTD's I had. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was an HK-50, the minning droid don't have that strong of guns.

  8. I managed to install the game on my computer!
  9. Okay, also I've been having some troube with sister's computer, it keeps on kicking me out of Icewind Dale. Also for some reason when I try to install Icewind Dale on my computer nothing happens.

  11. Yes one time I was about to kill one of thoose pigs looking things (GOD I'VE BEEN AWAY FROM STAR WARS TOO LONG!) two was red and the third one was bright blue. So I decided to kill the red ones off and maybe the good one wouldn't kill me, we'll he did attack me and he did die quickly.
  12. Craig: I can puase time but I can't rewind it, maybe I should go play one of thoose warrior within game or those blinx ones...

  19. This is for the one person who did not know what was. (I got the information from Moby games) Released: Jun 30, 2000 Published By: Interplay Developed By: Black Isle Studios (Black Isle is some of the developers came from that now work at Obsidian) MobyScore: 3.9 (out of 5) Platform: Windows Genre: Adventure, Role-Playing (RPG) Perspective: Isometric Non-Sport: Medieval / Fantasy, Real-Time Description Welcome to the Northern Faerun, where winter never ends. In this harsh realm of ice only a few hardy survivors live. Nowadays even those few survivors find the conditions a step higher. You and your party, has just arrived to a small fishing village. There is an expedition that will soon begin, whose main reason is helping a troubled nearby tree-village of humans, Kuldahar. In this hack-n-slash cRPG you play a combat oriented Baldur's Gate. Which means the graphics, the system, the interface and everything is just the same. The only real difference between the two is there is a lot more enemies to kill and much fewer NPCs to talk to. Nevertheless the title, with the other Infinity Engine Games (Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment), marks a great age in cRPG history. Here is where you can buy the game if you want to participate, you can buy it used for 2 bucks.
  20. Get your Icewind Dale characters up because I'm getting a game up (AK.A. hosting a game) on April 2nd. More information about the event will be released as the date comes closer. Be there or be square!!!
  21. Are there any screenys?
  22. You must first get to the presteige classes
  23. Hidding from Jesus and framrate madness.
  24. No poll? Ohwell, I chose KOTOR2, because in KOTOR any dumbass could tell what happens and you didn't have to really think the story to really understand it.
