Big plot hole in KOTOR 1?
Nesquaam replied to Dazed&Confused's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, I have read most of the arguments made, but I have come up with another possible solution. Remember Kreia, and het ability to make people 'forget' about her? Is it possible that the Jedi used this same technique on a much bigger scale to hide the Encale from the galaxy. And when a settler went off-planet they used the same technique Kreia used on Disciple to make them forget about the Enclave ? I know, it doesn't change the fact that Revan and Malak must have know about the Enclave, but it might be an explanation why the rest of the galaxy leaves Dantooine undisturbed. So what do all of you think about it? -
Never gained that much influence with HK, so what's it about? You gain extra feats or is it just a funny story about HK blasting Jedi into galactic dust?

Just beat the game, what was your level...
Nesquaam replied to john1974's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, just checked my last savegame. It's not a finished one, just before I head to Malachor V. And I'm level 15 Jedi/10 Weaponmaster. So I don' think I will reach level 30 or more. Is there a difference between Light Side or Dark Side in experience? Cause whenever I play lightside and do almost every quest, I only reach level 27 max. Do you have to be a Darksider to gain a higher level? -
Well, purple can be a colour asociated with power. The Roman Emperors wore purple robes, and the senators wore toga's with a purple line. But for the other colours, (yellow, blue and green) I don't think there is any symbolism behind them. Unless some-one comes up with an excellent theory

The ramp is the hard bit. It sounds like you just need 2 change the party. Visas is a great choice :joy: , but instead of brianna, you want to have mandalore, and either mira, or any other jedi who has steathrun and repair e.g atton. Youu could also use a workbench before the level, and give the characters armor the bio-restoritive underlay, if you have it. Or you could just use force speed and stealth run and run for it into the tomb. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I used Visas, the Handmaiden and Mandalore (with two-weapon fighting and Master Power Strike). So it was a melee-party. Just walk up to all those blaster-wielding Sith and hack them apart. Since Visas and Handmaiden were Jedi in my game, I could use them to heal
-
Master Flurry and Master Speed, just hit him as fast as you can, so he doesn't have time to heal himself. Worked for me on Darth Sion. One attack and he was done. But being a Light-sider, I don't know how tough Vrook is.

I had the same problem too, but since I patched it with versoin 2.0.0.0 it's no longer a problem. But ir could also be beacuase I cracked the game (just because I lose the cd's, it's all legit )

I only trained Handmaiden as a Jedi, because it's the 'roleplaying' thing to do. But if you're female I think it's also plausible to train Disciple (but I don't know his story). I only train one companion because it's just not right to have more than one padawan.

How do you prefer your lightsaber?
Nesquaam replied to Newbert_zero's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Two sabers. Normal one in the main hand (blue) and a short one in the off-hand (silver). It's the traditional double-weapon style. And it gives you the opportunity to use more crystals. And Master Flurry is also nice . -
Or yuo can just bombard them with nades, since they seem to stand there and don't do a thing if you move out of their sight.

from Wookieepedia

I voted Bandon, because he's just a dumb bully. Blowing up Sith soldiers just for fun? Common, that's just lame. He was like: "Look at me, I'm a Sith, KABLAM!!!"
-
But the Guardian gets the Force Jump and more lightsaber feats I thought. Gotta love the Force Jump

Maybe some sort of arena-like fighting. And rankings ofcourse to keep track of how well you're doing.
-
The're more rpg's with that option, but IMO playing the game is not much fun for the two players that are not the main character. Because they don't have any influence on the way the game is played, and that makes for a boring game. They're there just for the support of the main character.
-
To answer your question, they're the Jedi Knight Robes (from KotOR right, not KotOR II?). You can also find them in brown and red.
-
i dont let them beat hiim up. i pick a fight with them and save the beggar . still DS but really, petty crimes are beneath a sith lord. there is the dark side! there is power! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So you save the beggar, what's DS about that? IMO that's a lightside thing to do. Or do you mean that you just pick a fight with the thugs, no matter what ?

Post your favorite kotor 1/ kotor 2 mods
Nesquaam replied to Bokishi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, I have some mods ready for use on my computer but not yet checked if they're cool. These ones seemed very promissing: - Subtle Dark Side Transformations - Hide Weapons (How can you fly the Ebon Hawk with two vibroblades in your hands ) - Improved Atris - Sith Assasins with lightsabers - Skip Peragus -
Although Kavar is cool, and he seems to understand you, and Zez-Kai Ell has a deep insight in the whole Mandalorian Wars/Jedi Civil War thing, I go for Atris. I think that as a character she is more complete than the others. Especially when you have Handmaiden on the Ebon Hawk.
-
I don't know if I'm just sentimental and stuff, but how can you not give your visas to the woman and her two children, how can you let thugs beat up a beggar. I mean if you can stand up to them, why not? That's why I cannot play DS.
-
Visas and Handmaiden (when she's a Jedi). If handmaiden is not a Jedi I take Kreia along. I just think an all-Jedi party is the best.
-
Yeah, I have the same problem, after a in-game movie (not a cut-scene) the screen goes black and that's it. I figured a way out to still see the movies, but then you have to set your game to windowed mode. Anyone have any idea how to see the movies full-screen?

I think it had something to do with the doses of serum you gave him, so I sugest you make a savegame before feeding it to him and try to find out the right amount of serum. Good luck
