Yeah yeah I know what you meant... I'll go forth with cleric now, he seems the most consistent choice I can make. The only doubt I have is with Eothas. His dispositions are the ones that I usually pick even if I'm not a cleric... Stoic for example is not a thing I like a lot... but let's see how it goes now. I'll let you know.

Hi there, I've played Diablo 3 a lot, and there was the monk who could bear the staff, and use it in a really cool way. Would it be possible to obtain the same in PoE or the fists will be always better? I've seen the monk's table and it seems a great part of it is unarmed-oriented... maybe someone of you have tried? Just being curious..

This allocation is lacking some points...2 I think... I made a Mountain dwarf, and it comes to: M:16 C:10 D:10 P:12 I:16 R:14 Well...all the better after all... but maybe I should change something... And what about...origin for example? I gave it Ecclesiastic...for 2 lore, in Aedyr... My lore is 4 right now.. and 1 Athletics... what shall I bring up? Even some survival could prove useful... bonus for vessels for example...

With a priest I won't be able to wield that sword anyway... Berath seems fitting with his hate for undead...sanctifier is cool, bartender's ring is great, and of course the great difference is made via dialogue choices... the only thing is berath favors mace and great sword... i only like maces...great sword is not very to my liking.. Nightshroud instead is a great weapon... All that is left is a shield... must still choose... and race... maybe dwarf...

Hail'o! A particular concept of char just came to my mind: the undead killer priest. Famous for their hate for the abomination of the undead, they've got the strongest radiance possible and can kill undead relatively easily. I like it armed with some kind of crush weapon, such as mace, morning star, or better flail. A sort of crusader of the light. Can someone point me in the right direction with race, stats and gods? Oh and, by the way.. is it worth it? I mean... are there enough undead around to justify this choice?

Good point. So let's say something is realistic, something isn't. But this has nothing to do with the fact that swapping firearms like crazy is just a way to gain what? a second? thanks I'll pass. I don't play rpg games speculating on how many second I can save if I change a weapon. For me, if I like a barbarian who fights with a can-opener, I'll do it. I don't care if there is the Almighty sword of Conan" hidden in the game. Simply there are min-maxers, and non min-maxers. No reason to mock the latter.

Why? I admit it's a game, but reload times and wepon speeds are just plain realistic... Would you carry 4 rifles on yourself? Would you switch your weapon in combat by putting it into your backpack then take another one only for the purpose of not reloading it? It is MY opinion, but the devs just made a big mistake by making weapon switchable in combat. In real pen and paper you lose your turn if you do, and anyway you DROP your weapon if you want to switch it.

I appreciate your effort...but it seems that EVERY ranged build made on this forum has quick switch and 4 weapons.... this is annoying. 1 weapon is enough, don't want to switch every combat...this takes away realism and variety. I know, I know, it's more effective, but I don't care... A char for me holds 2 sets: 1 ranged, 1 melee. Or just one of the two.

That's not the playstyle I have in mind. I hate weapon switchin' every fight... I want my playthrough to be natural, and in this case, roguelike. So: opening shot with the bow, go behind, let the frontliners do their job, help them with mind powers. I don't care if I'm not the strongest...I play easy, no need to search for "the strongest" or "the best" or "the absolutely fantastic". I just want a character that corresponds to my idea. No min-max, no strategies.

The dichotomous is a very particular build as I can see... BUT the stat allocation is clever.. 18 Dex means you will be very quick in firing and gathering focus. I'm not sure I want to move melee, as -after all- there's no particular advantage in doing so... But tell me... which race would you pick? Orlan as Boeroer? (even from a rp-point of view)
