Well, from what I've found, this was a fairly sommon problem as Kaftan said, and I am supposed to put Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 in my swkotor.ini under graphics options or soemthing. But when I try to do that it says that it "Can not create the C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR\swkotor.ini file." So what the crap.

That is just so like you Kaftan. As long as I have Obsidian, I'm ok with staying ignorant regarding computers. I'm not the enemy here, Kaft, I don't own anything Apple.

So, I'm playing KOTOR on my Dell laptop, with Vista, and I can get all the way through Taris no problem, graphics settings on the max, the thing runs like a dream. The minute I hit Dantooine though, it lags to the point of unplayability. I try to walk, and my character goes into walking position, but doesn't actually move, until 15 seconds later when he's allthe way on the other side of the map, running into a wall. This happens regardless of what my graphics settings are, wether they be highest, or the lowest. I don't know anything about computer gamming and graphics and drivers and all that. Does anyone know what might be the problem, and what a solution might be?

I still haven't made any friends. Well, wait. I have six friends. Numbers one through six of my Heroes DVDs. I love them.

I was kidding. It's what I would have done the day after I bought Heroes on DVD regardless of where I was.

I spent eight hours today in my room watching Heroes on DVD. Then I went to get something to eat but the cafateria was closed, so i just played piano for an hour. No I'll have to go to Jimmy John's or something. College is gay.

I need to get off of my cell phone and start connecting with the people around me. Or at least that's what I'm told. And I do have an 8 AM class, every Monday and Wednsday

Update: I'm moved into my dorm room. Don't worry about a roomate, because I don't have one. i got a single room, and lucked out with my own personal bathroom. My room is pretty sweet. As for drinking, I don't drink as of right now, so I don't think I have anything to worry about, yet. As far as taking classes and getting a degree, I'm planning on applying for the music school this november-ish, and trying to get into either their jazz program or composition. As for a car, Western allows you to have a car your first year, it just costs $300 for a parking pass. So I'll be paying the money and keeping my car here. As for towns, it's in Kalamazoo, and I hear it's a pretty neat town, so I'll be checking it out when I get a free chance. Ummm, whatelse was there? Also, thanks to everyone for your support, I read each and every one of your guys' posts, and they mean a lot to me.
