  1. You will have to excuse AlternaFurkle. Well, actually, no, don't excuse him.
  2. Don't play dumb with me! I'm a P.I.!
  3. His avatar inspired me.
  4. -100 points from Mothman for ruining Way-Off Topic with music discussion.
  5. I personally blame Mothman. Off to the T.O.M.B.S. thread!
  6. Yeah, but I'm just a suburban white boy. I don't actually live in Detroit, but like 40 minutes or so away.
  7. I didn't know starting one topic would start a chain reaction that would bring about the end of "Way-Off Topic" and bring about the beggining of "Music arguments."
  8. Thanks a lot guys.
  9. That is not quite true. I don't know where you live, but I can turn on the radio and have access to rap, r&b, rock, classical, country, latin, ...etc nearly at all hours of the day. The average person has access to all sorts of music on the radio. It is just a matter of what he/she grew up with and what his/her preferences are. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats true, I'm really just going by what I know being up here in Detroit Michigan. I get like, two classical stations, and one Jazz/Blues station. The rest are like rock or Rap. I know that when I leave this area though, I hear a lot of Country on the radio.
  10. Also, a lot of people that listen to rap, also listen to rock and stuff to. It is really just whatever they hear on the radio. It isn't so much America's fault that it is what we listen to so much, it is also partially the radio station and record companies for making it hard for the average person who doesn't have a passion for music to get into contact with other types of music.
  11. I know a lot of people listen to Rap. What I am saying is that he was acting like it was the only music that America listens to.
  12. I would actually say that pop music is thriving also. When I say "pop", I also include "light-rock". Rap and R&B are popular, but it seems like you [Pope] formed all of your opinions off of MTV or something.
  13. But I agree with Pope in the sense that I think you should like something because you like it.. Not because it is in vogue or popular with everyone else. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I'm just saying that you should jump down peoples throats for liking something, with out actually knowing if they truly like it or not. He just depicts most Americans as "following the crowd".
  14. You can't really get mad at people for "going with the flow" because you don't know if they are just "going with the flow". Just because you like something that other people like, doesn't mean your are following the crowd.
  15. Look at me! I'm a non-comformist! Look!
  16. Sexism sells! Also, I go with the first reply. Unless you two come to an agreement, or more people vote for one over the other.
  17. I like classical music and all, but it is a little predictable.
  18. It wasn't even like, important to the plot. It was just a puzzle.
  19. It sure would. It sure would.
  20. You have to set the console to eplode mode. Make sure you set it to blow in less than five seconds.
  21. The music kind.
  22. The subject of this T.O.M.B.S. song is; Darth Drabek Drab.mp3 I made that like a month ago, and now I remember why I didn't post it. My temolo picking sucks on this one. Oh, and I cut it short so it would fit.
  23. Phantom Menace. What a great game.
  24. A sweet acordian player on the radio. I need to buy an acordian.
