The Korriban Hologram is only for players who set Revan to DS. With Revan set as LS/Neutral, you can get a Bastila hologram if you keep fixing T3. The dialog is different than the Korriban hologram. If you set Revan to DS, you have an extra. Not only do you get the Korriban hologram, but if you fix T3 then you get a Bastila hologram as people who set Revan to LS. Regardless of your alignment, the Bastila hologram from T3-M4 will differ in dialog depending on whether Revan was set to DS or LS.

Yep. Goto is the most useless character in all of Star Wars. Even the cut content can not save him in my eyes. About the walker droids, Telos was only supposed to be a taste of what you'll see later. M4-78 had some more of these walker droids. M4-78 was the greatest planet in KOTOR 2. Too bad it was cut. My worst moments in KOTOR 2 were: 1)Peragus - No comments. 2)Mira in the Ebon Hawk - No offense, the character is good, but in the Ebon Hawk she talks like she just had 3-4 beers. 3)Disciple - Eh " In KOTOR 1: 1)The Selkath "Court" - Man, that was a royal pain. 2)Some of the council members - Liars!

what do you choose most?
Accelerator replied to JediKnight72's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
No vote because I take the neutral path more frequently. -
Yeah KOTOR 2 endings were really bad. They should have at least made everything fit in, or at least keep the remote/G0T0 part in, considering Obsidian could always use the dialog of the HK-50 units not attacking HK-47 due to their self-preservation program. This can also be explained in such a way that "since this HK-47 looks, talks and walks like an HK-50, but has a different colour, the HK-50's assumed him to be a personally-possessed HK-50 droid with a modified colour and hence did not attack him" The current ending is really rotten.

About the whole 'Sith eyes' thing
Accelerator replied to Accelerator's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Then how come Anakin has normal eyes for the entire duel with Obi-Wan? Also, why is it that every person in the Star Wars movies or games with these yellow eyes is a Sith Lord? No Dark Jedi in KOTOR 1/2 has this yellow eyes. Perhaps the Sith eyes only happen when a person lets the rage control his actions and moves? -

Accelerator replied to chos echo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Strange...I've always had Atris possess the PC-defined lightsaber in the beginning and a blue saber in the Telos Polar Academy fight. However, there is a mod that restores the "Darth" Atris model.... Besides, from Kreia's and Atris' conversation, we can tell that Atris had been falling to the DS for quite some time now. But she still had to keep her identity as Jedi historian, in her idealistic view of the Jedi, since the handmaidens serve Jedi, not Sith. I'm pretty sure she'd have kept a bunch of extra robes for herself, when the need arose. And after the talk with Kreia, Atris decided to fall to her emotions and used the new robes so as to represent the new Atris. -
The best LS lines are the ones during the Atris-PC conversation during the first visit to the Telos Polar Academy. Can't remember the lines now, but they were quite good.

Saber color = what?
Accelerator replied to lightsidedmarker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
For me, it seems that Green = Counsellor/Diplomat (Yoda, Luke Skywalker both were giving advice as masters of Jedi Academy). Powerful in the force. Red = 1) Sith/Dark Jedi. 2) Brute force, Aggressive Moves and/or intensive use of the darker emotions Yellow = Investigators/Detectives, a bit cautious with everything, quick to action when its needed. Blue = Relying on Physical skill supplemented by force powers. Athletic and fast. Purple = Focused on technique, usually physically quite strong. But there are always exceptions. I can always take a green saber and strike down with brute force hundreds of enemies. The ultimate choice lies on the wielder of the weapon, not the color of the lightsaber. -
About the whole 'Sith eyes' thing
Accelerator replied to Accelerator's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I called it 'Sith eyes' because throughout the Star Wars movies and games, only Sith Lords have had these yellow eyes. By reading all the posts above, I would have to agree that there is no specific pattern in how these eyes appear. Malak's an interesting thing because in the screenshots provided, it his cornea that looks yellowish, not the iris. In the PC's case in K1 and K2, its the iris that turns yellow. Perhaps it is true that the yellow eyes represent how consumed by the DS a person is, to what extent he/she uses the DS to his/her advantage. I also read on Wikipedia once that Darth Vader's eyes used to turn back to his normal colour from the yellow when he thought about his actions and partially regretted it (EP3). I'm pretty much at a loss to understand this yellow eye thing. -

Accelerator replied to chos echo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Are you sure? Atris' lightsaber was always blue from beginning to end (yes, even the Telos Polar Academy fight) when I played K2. -
Hello everyone We know very well that when a person goes down the path of the dark side, his eyes eventually turn yellowish in colour. However, there are a few caveats of this. We see this in a lot of scenarios: 1) Anakin/Darth Vader has Sith eyes when he is murdering the separatists on Mustafar, but not after that (until the immolation scene). Even after the immolation scene, his eyes are not the 'Sith eyes'. 2) Darth Sion does NOT have Sith eyes. 3) Darth Malak does not have Sith eyes either. 4) We see a change in the eyes of Darth Traya as compared to Kreia, but as she is physically blind I am unsure whether the eyes turning dark green is because of the Sith eye effect. 5) In both KOTOR 1 and KOTOR 2, the player gets Sith eyes after progressing to a certain level of DS points. 6) Emperor Palpatine always has Sith eyes from the end of EP3 to the end of EP6, but has normal eyes before the fight with Windu. Physical changes are something else but the Sith eye? 7) Count Dooku does not have Sith eyes, ever. Darth Maul always has Sith eyes in ep1. 9)The Dark Jedi and Sith students as well as Uthar Wynn and Yuthura Ban from the Sith academy do not have the Sith eyes. So, from the above facts, we can deduce that the Sith eyes do not come just because you are a Sith. If KOTOR is correct in this, then it would appear after someone has sunk deeply to a certain level in the Dark Side. But then, this does not hold true for Anakin, who was sinking more and more in the DS every minute since the moment he killed the separatists. Darth Sion has so much Rage in him, and he uses the DS to keep him together, certainly due to that he must have had Sith eyes? Darth Malak was an absolute villain, and even he does not have Sith eyes? It would be well appreciated if someone could share their thoughts on this matter.

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline
Accelerator replied to Aurora's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Alright, I can understand about the shaders. No problem. But the DS Darth Traya model was originally supposed to be in the game, removed only because testers found it confusing (read the link below, post number 7) http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=313020 So, most of the public as well as the developer's original intentions would have wanted the Atris DS model to be in the game for the fight with her in the Telos Polar Academy. And it does not change the consistency of the storyline. So why would you not restore it? -
Exile's canonical gender confirmed!
Accelerator replied to Darth Nuke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Author might've been confused with Revan = Darth Revan thing. I mean, all other Darth's have different "nickname" than their real name, expect Revan and Malak edit: Well, Sikon was faster. And of course there is siths. Did you forget True Sith already? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was thinking that the "True Sith" would not have a Dark Lord, considering that I interpreted Kreia's words as meaning that the True Sith are much more than mindless, selfish villains.... Well, if LA wants to make the Exile LSF, then so be it. But I feel LA should have at least one neutral character as canon, since grey jedi are basically good people anyway -

Does Kreia or Zhar Lestin count? Since they are not there in this poll, I'd have to vote for Lonna Vash. She seems to be a kind master, not a pessimist like Vrook -
Exile's canonical gender confirmed!
Accelerator replied to Darth Nuke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That is correct, but in relation to the Exile's case, we have only one work so far which gives details about the Exile. We can only know the Exile's nature for sure when more books/writeups or LA's statement arrives. Strange thing: If Revan was LSM, and Exile is LSF or LSM, then there is no Dark Lord of the Sith after KOTOR 2. This cannot be because SW storyline should always have some jedi and some Sith Lords. So either the exile has to be DS or a new Darth is to be introduced. -
Does mira love the jedi exile
Accelerator replied to chris the jedi killer's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
i remember reading that but i cann't remember where either. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wasn't this in an earlier build of the game where Mira would first meet the PC at Peragus and Atris was supposed to be a party member? -
Exile's canonical gender confirmed!
Accelerator replied to Darth Nuke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Continuing the quote from the other thread that was closed, actually it is made quite clear that Revan was DSM. But we already know from other sources and LucasArts that Revan was LSM. This only proves that LA's word is what counts and books only represent the author's thoughts. -
But why does the Chronicles of the Old Republic have some false info? Since it was written by an official source the info should not be "false" per se. Like I said, LA's word is gold.

Exile's canonical gender confirmed!
Accelerator replied to Darth Nuke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I have made my opinions known on this subject. -
Well, this brings a lot of thoughts to my head. a) It confirms the reasons why Bastila wants to find Revan. She fears that Revan may form a....."bond" with the Jedi Exile b) Hmm...Did they make the Exile female so we can have a Bastila vs. Exile thing in KOTOR 3? (w00t) c) The Exile's reference as heroine would mean either LS or Grey side. d) "Canon" has been maligned in lots of ways. Take for example Revan, who was refered to as DS male in the Chronicles of the Old Republic, while LucasArts said he was LS male. e) ermm....So Disciple is canon and the handmaiden is history, and KOTOR 2's ending is a girl-on-girl fight (Atris vs. Exile vs. Traya). Although this will be good for terms of equality (one male character and one female), it will eventually only bring about holes and bores (Disciple). (w00t) And I wouldn't trust written works on canonicity. We need an official statement. Even in the case of Revan, the Chronicles of the Old Republic said he was DS male, while LA says he was LS male. So whats true? LA's word is gold here.

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline
Accelerator replied to Aurora's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If that was true then TSLRP would be put "on hold" or cancelled. The only reason I can think of at the moment is that people have gotten older, and responsibilities increase as you get older. They probably have less free time than they used to. I would suggest TSLRP to not overly exert themselves with the project, just keep going at the speed that the team desires. After all, the team members do have their own social lives -
How Do You Contact LucasArts By E-mail?
Accelerator replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The only contact email I know of is their tech support address and I'm not sure if it would help. Besides, since they suggest to use their tech support website to send emails, they must have a spam filter set up, so your message would probably not get through anyway. -
I would like to make an addendum to my previous post. A Grey jedi pathway should also be introduced. So, the "triggers" will execute as several points of the player's life, such as Padawan days or Knight days; however, the actions you do during these "triggers" would determine whether you stay with the Jedi or are exiled. If you are exiled, you get to choose the path of a grey jedi or a Sith Lord. Also, there can be several lightsaber forms, but not all should be given to the player. There should be three combat styles available to the player, with a skill level for each combat style. The more you train, the more you spar, the greater your skill becomes with the style you are using at that moment. Just my thoughts.

A cool Star Wars game forme would be one with the combat system of Jedi Academy and the gameplay features of Fable: TLC. The player character would start off as a student in the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine or Coruscant. Eventually (s)he'd have to go to missions with a master and have lots of conversations with aggressive and diplomatic negotiations. After you pass the trials, you become a Knight and eventually a Jedi Master. And there should be a storyline arc in which the Player is infused with some force artifact power that he retains his youth forever. :D As a Master you will need to teach people a lot of things, do this do that blah blah You can also choose the Sith pathway. This would be set by certain "triggers" which would happen at several points in your life; i.e. by doing things the Jedi don't like, such as going to war and stuff. You have a chance to learn the ways of the Sith, and become a mighty Sith Lord. The game should be fairly open-ended, and have lots of sidequests along with a huge story arc.

Was Luke given a Sith name?
Accelerator replied to locoguano's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
No, because he didn't deal in absolutes. Well, maybe Luke could have been the Dark Lord of the Bith. And then we'd have a game named Jedi Academy: The Bith Lords. :D
