  1. The bolded text (above) is exactly what we have now. I just don't think +1 will be enough. A tournament would give you the best match ups. Look, have your traditional bowls - then you have an eight team tournament - then you have a champion.
  2. So the best team doesn't win the NCAA basketball tourney each year. So what? The point of a tounament is that all teams of high caliber get the opportunity to show that they are the best team in the land. To show that they have what it takes to go above the rest. And how do they prove that they are the best? Not by some point system or by a group of writers and coachs voting for the best. They could prove the only way it can be proven - on the field.
  3. (w00t) :D ^_^ :D The Bears are clearly the ones to get that sixth spot <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's too bad the Bears won't do anything with that playoff spot. Shifting topics slightly, Do you think Peyton Manning will break Marino's record this week (Sunday Night I believe) against the Ravens? (despite what they say on ESPN) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. You bastard 2. Ray Lewis might not play. If he plays I say Peyton ties the record. If he doesn't, he breaks the record. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. Just telling the truth, my friend. (I actually don't really mind the Bears. I would rather see them win than most other teams in the NFL) 2. Manning could have broken the record, but he had too much class to do it. Manning had two chances to tie Marino last night - the first time was on a drive that took the Colts to the four yard line and the Ravens backed off, expecting Manning to go for the record. Instead he hands the ball off to James who scores untouched (and Manning does most of the play calling). The second time was at the end of the game on the Raven's four with 56 seconds remaining and the Colts downed took a knee. Manning will get the record before the season's over, but he'll do it with class.
  4. Say what you want about the Utah's and Bosie State's of the world, those smaller schools don't get enough respect (I hate year after year how people knock confernces like the MAC. The MAC has some very quality team, but some people just won't even look at them). Like I said, all you need is an eight team tournament - problem solved.
  5. No, KOTOR II is supposed to be somewhat different depending on whether you played the first game lightside or dark. It won't be dramatically different, but some aspects will change depending on whether you tell the game Reven went light or dark.
  6. Glad to know you're out there still!!
  7. Uh, I didn't say I wanted the old system... My dream scenario would be a 16 team tournament in Dec/Jan. But realistically I hope for an 8 team tournament were you could keep the BCS system to pick the top eight and seed them, then extend the season three weeks and let them go at it. (Yeah, that would conflict with the Bowl games. They'd have to find some place to squeeze them in there.)

  9. I just heard your former coach Frank Solich just took the job at Ohio University. The MAC has some good schools like Toledo, Bowling Green and Miami (OH) but Ohio has always stunk at football. That is quite a step down for Solich. He
  10. Those two teams play each other next week. The loser will have a tought time getting a WC spot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True.
  11. It has to do with the choices you make before then. Though I don't know exactly how it works. It may be that you have to be at least 2/3 DS to aquire Hanhar. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Although it was always our desire for Hanharr to become a Jedi (and wookiees can become Jedi in the Expanded Universe, there's at least 2 examples I can think of), a recent decision from George Lucas around Episode 1 and 2 time made it clear that wookiees cannot become Jedi, so Hanharr's outta luck. Well, except for his rage power. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess I'll just have to wait for the mod (although I don't have a clue who your talking about becaues I'm a PCer; I just read all the threads that devs post)
  12. Ding Ding!! We have a winner! The few devs left, however, could drop us a line now and then... (Many, MANY people have asked about what X-Box bugs are being fixed/can be fixed before Feb - but I haven't seen a response to what can or will be fixed by the time the PC version comes out.) But I agree with GOA, I'm a little more concerned with the lack of dev posts on the tech help forum. The first thread on that forum got a dev response almost immediately. Since then, there have only been two or three that got a dev response. Still, I can't be too hard on them - they are creating a game I most assuredly will love.
  13. AFC: Current division leaders make playoffs. WC: NY and Jacksonville. NFC: Current division leaders make playoffs. WC: Minnesota and Chicago. Super Bowl: Atlanta for the NFC (and Philidelphia becomes the Buffalo of the NFC Championship game) and the AFC depends on how the brackets come out. If the Colts play the Steelers instead of the Patriots in the second round, then the Colts will beat the Steelers and the Pats will beat the Colts in the AFC Championship. If the Colts play the Pats instead of the Steelers in the second round, then the Pats will beat the Colts and will lose to the Steelers in the AFC Chamionship. Champion: The AFC (either the Steelers or the Patriots)
  14. That is awesome. The arena was one of my favorite areas of the game. I didn't think they would be in, but thankfully I was wrong.
  15. Forget what? Everyone knows there are two types of people on these boards: The American XBoxers who can get the game and the PC'ers and international XBoxers who can't. (Of course, there is also the occational dev.)
  16. The dreaded phrase should be "E Choo Tah", also known as "Ee Chew Ta"
  17. If you guys really want to know then here you go: Enjoy, though I dont know why you would want to know this, it's really not that surprising, just a confirmed rumor. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, thanks for spoiler coding it, but many people on these boards thought this to be the case. But you did right. When in doubt, put it in spoiler text!
  18. I wonder if George W. Bush
  19. It will be a bigger suprise if Mandalore isn't Candrous. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. Many people on the boards are convinced he is Candrous.
  20. NO, don't give in to the XBox side!! :'(
  21. Was it that a certain actors name appeared for multiple characters, giving away that he/she was in disguise for part of the game?
  22. On a cold day in Hell... ...so, that would be February here in Winnipeg, Canada. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  23. Agreed (on both counts - I think very few people will be around, even in Feb. They started this new forum after everyone who didn't want spoiled left).
  24. I was curious about the same thing. I figured it'd be up by now, since the official release date is tomorrow. I'm guessing either a)the new forum (or adjusted forums) will be up sometime tonight or b)they forgot about it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would guess b, although I hope I'm wrong.
  25. http://www.rsmith.org.uk/frasier/multimedia/cheers_theme.mp3 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Perfect music! Very fitting.
