  1. Char. Name: Lini Level: 37 Specialization: Wild Warden Skill Feat: +3 Wisdom, +1 Str Power Feat: 5 Hand Size, Light Armor and Weapon Proficiency, Superior Animal Trick Card Feat: +1 Ally, +1 Spell Weapons: None Item: Greater Luck Stone, Kohl of Uncanny Discernment Spells: 2 Holy Light,1 Find Trap, 4 Aids (currently at 3 Improved and 1 Greater Aid) Armors: None Allies: Giant Badger, Monkey, Sabertooth Tiger, Lizard Blessings: 4 Blessings of Shelyn This is hybrid Lini in which she is a decent Boon-Hunter, non-Blessing Supporter and all-around Non-Combat closer. Wild Warden to maximize Animal Trickery Wisdom can be just +2, but early levels of Animal Trick is not enough to close out Wisdom Location, Blessing Boons or recharge the spells Str is to give her some combat consistency and better + on melee boons. 5 Handsize is good enough for her, minimizing risk on the occasional bad henchmen/boss pull Could go on without Light Armor proficiency but as I said its early game survival. Weapon proficiency so you don't have to discard that weapon you just rolled for and be not Holy Light dependant on the occasional Ambushes or bad pull. Badger for better Stride-like effects Monkey for the Boons Tiger can be replaced. Lizard for dual closeout (Stealth/Survival..although Animal Trick is enough most of the time) Blessings are for Wisdom Assists or General dice boost for other members. Explore is a last option and only when you're short on time Holy Lights are for those combat closeouts and undead ambushes. Do not discard if you have 1 in hand so you can aggressively explore if short on time. Aids are rechargeable blessings using Animal Trick. Find Traps are there for Locks and Barriers. Do not discard them. Gameplay is positioning Lini on low-monster locations and slow exploring them. Put her Midturn so you can plan if you want to go aggresive on her turn and on the first set of turn she can fully assist everyone if needed as she will be resetting her hand for the slower characters. Gaining a weapon should be easy if no initial Holy Light is drawn. Extra explores are on blessings and allies pulled who should be easy enough to acquire via Animal Trick/Aid. Its ok to empty your hand on your other members turn, specially those who go first..empty hand means no discard if you ever pull a monster and lost. Slow play her so the others can be aggressive on their explore because they know your Aids will be there if they're in a predicament. If you close initial location early, look at your available allies or items and choose which location she can close easily..if its a far location, its no problem as she can be an extra explore on those locations she has to pass.
  2. Can't seem to recharge it eventhoughI have the proficiency Questmode. Permadeath. Seelah
  3. Its 50-50. Thats why I advice not taking it early on.. But when you do get stronger, most of your cards will be recharged/revealed for usefulness. Only blessings (most of the time) and allies should ever be discarded. Higher hand size means flexibility, more explore but it does clogs your hand sometimes like 4 weapons or items you're not gonna use for now.
  4. In story mode, feats and skills are tied to a scenario's completion. Quest mode its level dependent. Basically you can see the scenario completed by each character on the character info under completion which if in storymode lists encounter scenario while in quest mode it list level progression. Storymode progress faster than quest mode. AD3 completion you'd be comparatibly LVL 31. In questmode, you need to unlike AD# cards as you level up..i think AD1 cards unlocks at level 10.
  5. Oh..I think I'm way passed that line hahaha. Didn't know about that..but it just seemed off to me that Specialization was odd at 31, now I know. Hmmm but yeah for now I think Power Feat would suit me better than another card. Gets my draw on a higher rate, specially when most of my party recharges. ( Seelah, Sajan, Lini, Seoni, Ezren..Amiri just buries except the Crown and Armor for Charisma cause she can get a little drunk, she gets into all the drugs but on good days, she is charming af ^^)
  6. I rarely lose fights. 1 or 2 per grinding week..mostly Mamma Graul and most likely on Scenario Power that adds +2 Boss Difficulty for every destroyed Henchmen. Boons, early on you throw everything at em to get em. Its better to get them than to win a scenario at low levels. On average, one party member can explore at least 3x per turn. Seelah on lategame can explore 5x off the bat. But sometimes its better to just safely explore normally, for example, when I play Harsk, I slow play him, I draw once and just scry the next card savng his blessings and cards to Snipe/Assist..if I scry a Monster, then I plan accordingly, Can Harsk destroy it w/o Blessings or Do I send in another character for the encounter? When there is no more monsters on a location except a Henchmen/Boss thats when I aggressively explore. Always get Allies with extra explore, spend 1 blessing on it though as 1:1 trade if you have too but no more than that. For me scrying > extra explore..safer and much more efficient. Augury on Seoni is good. Evade to Top is also a scrylike effect. Always Augury card type that has most on a location and plan if you want to encounter it or not. If you're low on time, scry for monster and hope you get lucky on a boss or henchmen.
  7. Is it normal? 2 weeks grinding and this is the first time I encountered it as a Scenario Power on Quest Mode. Scenario Power: Tutorial
  8. Yeah, expansions are different than just adding new cards into the same set. CCG's have two major differences, once a set is released, they don't add new cards to it (they may add more sets to the game, but each set is immutable) and the second major difference is that CCG's don't have an infinite number of cards in a set (as in copies of a card). Oh, and also trading. The ability to trade duplicates would make a lot of the giant problems with the treasure system go away. Trading? I hope not. Played BloodBrothers/D3 before and I tell you trading will be bad and will just be another problem. Many cases (mine included) where I traded/goaded a highvalue card for something of less because I was new to the game or didn't research.
  9. I can confirm the conversation between Orik and Gandethus. Orik questioned Gandethus about a certain monster because of something they had a deal on the tutorial. Val and Orik also have this classy honorable conversation before fighting.
  10. Don't know if its a bug or normal so I just post it here. Casually grinding quest mode whenI get this scenario..is it normal? First time I encountered in weeks of grinding. No screenshots coz I don't know the shortcut for screenshot on ipad. Googled it already ^^
  11. I do this. Before. Now i just get as much dice as I can close to the Difficulty and always expect 1's. One thing i observe is whenever I get to close A Scenario, i overload the screen with dice (close to 20 various diceside) and hoping to get 100 damage ( highest is 82 ), much frequently i get cluster 1s..I still succeed, yep, but the frequency and number of 1s seems off.
  12. You probably are restarting a quest with new characters. Try clicking on experienced button when selecting party. You'll probably see your previous heroes there and their higher level and deck.
  13. Yeah i think the dice rolling for the game needs a tweak. Too many 1s on all so important rolls where it should be next imposible to fail. And I had this fun time with the Boss that re-rolls your attack on a 1 or 2 roll. 6 straight, blessings all out. Fun times, fun times..
  14. It rewarded me with a card feat as listed on completion. Whats wrong with that?
  15. On legendary, permadeath, questmode 1. When Malugus (boss) triggers the scenario..after rolling 2d4, the game gets stuck. It won't allow me to attack or evade him. Happened twice on Dungeon and Shrine to Lamashu. Had to forfeit. 2. When you face henchmen that you roll 1d4 for abilities (ogrekin, i think) sometimes after rolling 2d4 for the scenario, it won't roll the 1d4 for the ability. It'll just list the ability. If i vault > back to game, the ogrekin's difficulty is raised but no additional ability. If i destroy it, location closing doesn't trigger.
  16. Oh no sorry, didn't read the tips on reporting bugs. Its 2 separate scenario though, it happened twice on one scenario before i report it. But one wildcard I'm sure is one with 2d4 raised difficulty on Giants. That scenario seems too buggy.
  17. To each his own I guess. I haven't spend anything on this myself aside from the 2$ humble bundle, and its a good game..much better than most out there F2P. The grind for EXP crawls but goldwise its reasonable for all the character unlocks and adventure. Let's just say BUG finding is my way of giving back. Having playtest a couple of boardgames and ccg, SQA'd a few programs too, my mindset on BUGs are very positive. Spreading the game to my friends also as a help for developers so they vcan have ample time to test before they release patches ^^
  18. Happened thrice Seelah on farm, draws Hag, Ezren assisted with Toxic Cloud, rolls and succeed in spell check, the Toxic Cloud transfers to Seelah as display. Seelah destroys the Hag and then the Toxic Cloud banishes. Lini on Apothecary, draws Hag, Ezren assisted with Flame Burst, rolls again and succeed in spell check, Flame Burst transfers to Lini and destroys the Hag. Flame Burst banishes. Lini on Academy, draws Hag, Ezren assisted with Incindiary Cloud..same thing happened..transfers and vanishes. I loved that spell.. On questmode, legendary, permadeth, ipad.
  19. Ipad 9.3.2 Permadeath Questmode Seelah Amiri Lini Sajan Ezren Seoni Legendary -Arrow Traps, Ill Wind, Giant traits gains 2d4 difficulty Happens on all locations I encountered the boa. Non horde.
  20. I play Legendary and on Permadeath, 6 player mode. On the blessing deck..30 is just enough..you'll get to a point that you constantly win the scenario even by the 20th turn. On the game being harder as more player unlocks and used..you should try to play the tabletop ^^ it is exactly like that. Early game, focus on getting better weapon/cards. You can see that maybe your using blessings to win against normal monsters, you shouldn't..blessing should be extra explorations..but until you can do that consistently, its better to lose the scenario than die. Save it for henchmen, boss and closing. Spread the characters on locations they good at closing. Start at 2 player. Merisiel is very strong but can become stale, for me at least, immediately. Clear your hand every turn, keep only trash cards if you have a bury or discard ability to boost checks. If you lost a henchmen at a location don't chase it. Go to another location, save it for the when you know and corner a Boss. Sometimes its better to let a Boss go into a locations you can easily explore. ( Ezren on Academy or Thass Dungeon )
  21. On quest mode Legendary Any character Any location Wildcard scenario (raised Undead Difficulty by 2d4) This happened twice and i had to forfeit game just to get unstuck. Draw Shadow on a location, AI rolls 2d4. Then Shadow just got stuck in screen. Can access my cards. Tried Vault soft reset but it just reroll 2d4 and get restuck.
