The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)That's probably it, but it could also be: nfvUd5 It's hard to tell if that's a bit of ornamentation on the tank making the n look like a m. Also, if things are getting truly nutty, it could even be mfvUd5r. There's a possible 7th character after the 5.

Purchased Content is not unlocked on my Android device.
Ethics Gradient replied to demon's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Seems like the above user also cross-posted the issue on reddit. The problem was resolved by logging out of Asmodee on both platforms, and then proceeding to generate link codes to manually merge their android and steam accounts. That Asmodee sync... man, it's probably been more trouble than it's worth.

Pathfinder Update 1.2.9 Rise of the Goblins Deck 2
The last update on gog was this. Seems like it's off the table for the time being.

Character is locked even after I've disbanded EVERY PARTY!
Ethics Gradient replied to tomchick's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Assuming everything is ok on the server, a delete and reinstall on iOS would pull down a fresh set of syncs. Steam is a little trickier. You need to figure out where it is hiding on your platform and delete/rename the PACG1_SAVE_GAMES folder. For instance, on Mac, its buried in: username/Library/Application Support/unity.Obsidian Entertainment.Pathfinder Adventures The file that should be causing you the most grief is the "vault" file. That's the local repository for your characters. You can possibly just try to rename/delete that first without having to mess with the entire save directory. Once you're online, the character vault should be rebuilt from data on the server.

The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Standard "rolling" d20s follow the semi-random opposing side rule. The item on Josh's desk is a 55mm "countdown" d20. It's numbered sequentially so you can use it to keep track of something between 1-20 without constantly having to search for the next number. I doubt it means much.

Is there a map of Deadfire Archipelago?
Ethics Gradient replied to Mazisky's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Presumably, follow the islands south and west off the bottom corner of the map, and you’ll bump into it eventually.

Is there a map of Deadfire Archipelago?
Ethics Gradient replied to Mazisky's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)The fandom comes through, and pointed me towards this better map. Thanks, BeautifulBearInATutu!

Is there a map of Deadfire Archipelago?
Ethics Gradient replied to Mazisky's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Some debate about it presently, but the top left right of the map appears to be Magram's Teeth and Ondra's Mortar. Neketaka is located approximately in the center. Edit: Checks hands like was taught in grade school. One hand doesn't make an L shape, so that's probably not the left.

Is there a map of Deadfire Archipelago?
Ethics Gradient replied to Mazisky's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)It could still be quite huge assuming relatively similar ocean maps. Plenty of space to explore... and get wrecked by hostile ships. Here's the beta map overlaid on that promo image I deskewed.

The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)They do not. The cosmic dog/bird codes are simply: Also, the console commands shouldn't be case sensitive. All this upper/lowercase nonsense in the Deadfire codes wouldn't be relevant. Sure, it's possible that there could be a game object called yJ3BqA, but that would be way out of line with their fairly neat naming hierarchy. Maybe there's some other way of inputing data into the game besides the console. Perhaps the First National Bank of Neketaka just happens to use alphanumeric six-digit account numbers and your adventuring takes us to a branch office at some point in the story.

Character is locked even after I've disbanded EVERY PARTY!
Ethics Gradient replied to tomchick's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Drop an email to: support@obsidian.net Make sure to include your username (found in the top-left of the pathfinder main menu) or PFID (found at the bottom of Options --> Settings), the name of the offending character, a quick description of the issue, and your desired outcome (unlock the character? delete them?). It may take a couple business days for them to get back to you, but the team should be able pull up your playfab profile and manually adjust your party roster. Playing between platforms usually isn't a big issue. You just need to be extra careful that two copies aren't running at the same time. Competing syncs can do all sorts of weird things...

missing dlc
Ethics Gradient replied to Lemantia's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)I wouldn't say it it intentionally misleading, though could be worded more precisely. In the Pathfinder ACG hierarchy the... Adventure Path is the base set and is comprised of... Adventure Decks which then have five... Scenarios in which you try to corner the villain or meet some other objective. Calling the first Rise of the Goblins DLC "A full-length campaign of 5 scenarios" safely puts it in the Adventure Deck-class of the hierarchy. I've got a feeling that the wording may have been a little odd because last summer nobody was willing to venture whether or not they'd make additional scenarios, and wanted to emphasize that whatever happens, Rise of the Goblins:Burn Everythings could stand on it's own like the little mini-adventure it was based on. The Valeros DLC is similarly marketed as "5 new Scenarios".

- The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Yeah.... it's almost like we're being watched... Just last week I was thankful they were using a serif font because it helped clear up ambiguous letters... now it's some boring ol' generic gothic. You know what would be really hard to see? A 500 pixel high-contrast QR code! Lets hope they don't do that, right?- The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Happy Wednesday Everyone! Bestiary Entry 7: Corrupted Tigers A little more difficult than before. Possibly VMTjAb. Edit: Could also be a upper-case J, seems unlikely though.- Update #44 - Making Pillars II Gorgeous
Ethics Gradient replied to Mikey Dowling's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Announcements & News- The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I'm with you on all of this. The encryption theory, or any theory that involved a specific sequence, started falling apart when codes were inadvertently being found instead of delivered via twitter in some solid order. We've got thirteen puzzle pieces (soon to be fourteen, probably ending near twenty at release), just haven't had that break to get to the next "level" of the game. Maybe we just haven't been clever enough, maybe Obsidian uses some custom URL shortener the'll "accidentally" tweet in the coming weeks. It certainly isn't exciting to wait, but it's possible that we haven't figured out a context because that clue hasn't been dropped on us yet.- Will this show up on GoG soon?
Ethics Gradient replied to Tremere110's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Part of the GOG philosophy is that games should work the same whether online or not, and that in-game stores and RNG-crates like the treasure chests aren't allowed. GOG Pathfinder would have to be an entirely standalone experience, or all the other platforms would have to be changed to play by GOG rules. Seems like a mess either way.- Is there a map of Deadfire Archipelago?
Ethics Gradient replied to Mazisky's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Also, if you take this image, deskew and straighten it out a bit, you wind up with something like:- They Told Me They Fixed It Challenge
Ethics Gradient replied to a post in a topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Heh. It's back! So, funny story... back in the old days , weekly and daily challenges used to be entered manually. Occasionally a long weekend would strike, or someone would simply forget to refill the virtual challenge dispenser, and the system would just disappear for a few days until someone pointed it out. Which is what led to the present system which is a little more oops tolerant. Amusingly though, a bunch of the "Named" challenges we've been seeing are from last year, and are doing a mid-week collision with this year's challenge schedule. They told me they fixed it, indeed!- Officially dead?
Ethics Gradient replied to King_Momo's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Hai guize! I heard u were lookin for moar content! Pathfinder Update 1.2.9 Rise of the Goblins Deck 2- Officially dead?
Ethics Gradient replied to King_Momo's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Besides the patch, there's also a pretty high likelihood of some new content on the way. We know the goblin pyro Tup is about to join the lineup, and I'm willing to bet on Goblins DLC 2 or some wizarding-themed scenarios like we saw with Valeros. And even though the dev teams have been independent, I've got to imagine that things are a bit crazy in this final month as everyone tries to push Deadfire out the door.- Update #45 - Sailing the Deadfire Archipelago

Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Hah! Anyway, the wording on the back of the book is an exact quote from Mikey after Manifest tried a second time to bring it up. What codes are you talking about, indeed!- The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Oh. Entirely possible. We just have this tall stack of codes that don't seem to relate to anything, and all of a sudden obsidian acknowledges them in a very specific way... I feel like the problem isn't that we don't have enough pieces to the puzzle, we just haven't found anything to orient them against. - The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
