  1. I'd like to be able to find and use holocrons in the next game their these important objects in both the original games but you're never able to actually use one.
  2. Anyone else think the unknown hooded jedi in issue 9 speaking to the council before Lucien was Revan?
  3. I believe it's the Star Wars 2007 game whatever it is I can't wait looks great!
  4. That's funny I was actually watching G4 yesterday and I think it was on EP that they did an interview with Bioware and Pandemic about them teaming up. The short of it was that they were in the process of making several games together (other then Mass Effect) but that they couldn't comment on them due to the fact they hadn't been announced yet. Got me thinking maybe one of them could be KOTOR 3 I mean there's no solid proof but it would be nice if the next game came from a team up with Bioware and Pandemic.
  5. Tyvokka was actually a Jedi Master the only wookie Master ever and infact was a member of the Jedi council with Yoda.
  6. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lowbacca - Lowbacca's link http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tyvokka - Tyvokka's Link http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Horororibb - link about those two being the only two wookie Jedi "George Lucas has decreed that no more Wookiee Jedi be created (the only pre-existing ones being Lowbacca and Tyvokka)."
  7. I know even people who can't see the future would have seen that happening sooner or later.
  8. A wookie jedi is a weird thought but what do you think is the most unusual jedi speices of all time? For me it's the hutt jedi Beldorian. I just never thought a hutt would ever be a jedi. I mean he ended up falling to the dark side how could his masters not have seen this coming from a hutt?
  9. Chewbacca's nephew Lowbacca was a Jedi infact he and Tyvokka were the only two wookie jedi ever now that GL has banned that.
  10. Jabba the Hutt wasn't a member of the exchange infact the hutts actually helped to destroy it. After G0-T0 died on Malachor V and with no new leader the exchange members turned on each other and by Jabba's time were long gone. So maybe you could in some way put an end to the exchange in K3.
  11. Personnely I don't think the "True Sith" are Sith at all. What I think happened is that in her visions Kreia saw a group stronger in the dark side and more evil then any Sith and just assumed them to be a more powerful group of Sith.
  12. You can't really do that because Czerka is actually still around in the days of the Empire, Rebellion, and even into the New Republic. Atleast you couldn't take them down once and for all, maybe just another one of their branches like you did on Telos and Kashyyyk.
  13. No all the Sith Lords from the first two games are dead. There could however be a new one I guess normally when one dies another one replaces him. The strongest always leads with the Sith so as long as there's still some around there's probably a Sith Lord some where. There also might be a Sith Lord of the True Sith but we won't find that out till KOTOR III
  14. Yes they were in power for that long because of their force sensitivity and their advanced technology which fed off the force. The reason the fell was after building the Star Forge it's corrupting influence turned them on each other causing a civil war that weakened them. Then shortly after the war a plague spread through the Rakata which caused them to lose their connection to the force and made them unable to use any of their technology. That's an interesting thought and something I was wondering about myself after all the Rakata did build the Star Forge a machine designed to be used by the dark side of the force. So here's my little theory weather I'm right or not we may never know. I say that maybe the Rakata built the Star Forge for the True Sith as a weapon and Revan just got there first. If this is true then maybe they built more then one or something worse and that's the threat that the True Sith pose and what Revan and the Exile went to fight.
  15. Wow it's intresting how this has gone so far very differently then I thought it would and the Wii got a lot more votes then I thought. It just goes to show that no one know's what American gamers will like if this poll had been done in Japan it would have been very different. I am glad to see how many people choose the 360 which is a really solid system and by the looks of it soon to be the top system in the US at least . For me I still think I'm going to end up with both as I wait in the cold again for the PS3 like I did for my 360. I just have to have it to play MGS4 and Assassins Creed a game I really think is going to be huge just from what I saw of it and heard about it.
  16. I just don't know why anyone would buy the stripped down version of the PS3 or the 360 when for another hundred dollars you'd get a far superior game system. Think about it if your willing to shell out four hundred dollars for a game system why wouldn't you be willing to shell out five hundred?
  17. Well E3 is over and most people have seen the new systems and what they can do so I'm interested to see what other people think. Here are my thoughts: I pretty much predict it to stay the same with Sony on top, Microsoft right behind, and Nintendo in third although not by as much as they were. The only possible change I could see is Microsoft taking over first in the market but I'm not sure that will happen. With a strong line up of games like Halo 3, Gears of War, Mass Effect, and others not to mention getting Grand Theft Auto 4 one of Sony's system selling games it looks like their finally ready to challenge the top dog. They also have a couple more advantages including being almost a hundred dollars cheaper then the PS3 and almost a year a head of them producing games for it. The only two things keeping the PS3 on top I believe is that it also has a great game line up with such titles as Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII, Killzone PS3, and Assassins Creed a game which I believe could be a big hit. Then there's the fact that Sony has a huge and very loyal fan base in Japan a fan base that doesn't like the more American type games Microsoft puts out. A fan base loyal because the system was born and breed in Japan and no matter what anyone says is made to please that market not ours. As for the Wii I've heard so much out of E3 about how everyone liked the games and how easy it was to use their controller but for how long would you still like it? I admit from what they said it would seem like fun to pick up the Wii and play with it for an hour or so but after that I have a feeling I'd get tired of it quick. Their whole thing this year is to get new gamers by making a simpler control system to attract the average person. But what about the hardcore gamers that after a while of playing with this simpler control system are going to get tiered of the lack of control? As for the games well Nintendo has once again done what they do best and made a kiddy sweep with most the games I've seen being pretty G rated just like the kiddy cube. (I actually laughed when I heard some one from Nintendo say they were making Sonic the Hedge Hog more adult oriented) But even though the games are still for kids and the controller couldn't handle half the control options of a PS3 or a 360 game it will still make a huge leap. A huge leap because of the fact that it does have simpler controllers and will attract new gamers just not as many as Nintendo thinks it will. I mean no matter what they say I just can't see an eighty year old woman playing a video game! Anyway that's what I think so lets hear what everyone else says!
  18. You could do the day night thing with a console on one disk with the Blue-Ray on the PS3 and the new DVD add on for the 360 coming it's possible.
  19. 1. Luke: Son of the most powerful jedi ever Anakin Skywalker and later a very powerful jedi in his own right. 2. Vader/Anakin Skywalker: Born of the force with the highest midi-chlorians count ever which was said well after Revan and The Exile were long gone so that includes them. 3. Yoda: One of if not the greatest swordsmen in jedi history as well as being very strong in the force. He also lived so long that he had a long time to learn the force and how to use a lightsaber better then anyone. 4. Revan: The most powerful jedi of his age as told by many of the masters you speak with in both KOTOR I and KOTOR II and very strong with a lightsaber. 5. Obi-Wan Kenobi: Defeated Anakin but was also saved by him several times so he was powerful but I think just got lucky in their fight to win. 6. Mace Windu: One of the greatest jedi's with a lightsaber ever. 7. The Exile: Very strong in the force after Malachor V but before that was said to be an average jedi. He also loses some ground due to the fact that he must have people around him attune to the force in order to be so strong. 8. Darth Sidious/Chancellor Palpatine: Strong enough in the force to turn Anakin and control him for as long as he did. He also gave both Yoda and Mace Windu a run for their money in both his fights with them. 9. Exar Kun: Also said to be the strongest jedi/sith of his time and like Revan almost defeated the republic as a Sith Lord. 10. Qui-Gon Jinn: Trained Obi-Wan and like Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin learned how to be come one with the force something which takes a powerful jedi to become.
  20. 4yrs between games that's way to long by then how many people who liked the first two would even still care about playing another 2yrs has already been too long for a game this popular.
  21. If that's the case then it will either never get done or someone else will do it.
  22. That's probably why they are hiring/have hired the new people that were mentioned in the first article. Again I'm not saying it's positive proof their making another one I'm just saying it looks good to assume they will/are making the third one. However to be honest if it isn't made this year I doubt it'll ever be made. Up until now I've assumed as I'm sure most people did that they were waiting for the next-gen systems before releasing it but if that's not the case what are they waiting for? With 360 already out and still no word on it you have to assume that if they are still going to make it then it's going to be for all three systems and their waiting on PS3 to launch. Now if they are you probably won't hear about it until E3 because of course that's were a game like this should be announced especially if it's going to be on all three systems this time.
  23. Can't wait for Brothers in Arms 3 the first two were good games not as good as COD but good all the same.
  24. This was a good articale too. IGN: Obsidian's Quadruple Set It says: January 17, 2006 - Obsidian Entertainment is currently working on three unannounced role-playing games, according to job listing site Creative Heads. Comprised of former several Black Isle and BioWare creators, Obsidian appears to be expanding with work expressly for next-generation and PC platforms. One game, listed as a third-person action-RPG for Xbox 360 and PS3, is possibly the third in the Knights of the Old Republic series. Neither LucasArts nor Obsidian would confirm a renewal of their work done on Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords. According to a source close to the development team, Obsidian may not have sealed the deal yet for KOTOR 3. The second role-playing game listed (Obsidian is looking for an entry-level programmer for this title) is an RPG slated for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. This second RPG is an original intellectual property called Project New Jersey and uses the Unreal 3 Engine, according to Obsidian employees. Along with job postings for Neverwinter Knights 2 (announced in August 2004), Obsidian is also creating an adventure-RPG for Xbox 360 and PS3 (for which it's in search of a senior graphics programmer). In addition to the Creative Heads listing is Obsidian's own job listings.
  25. Well there's been a couple websites out there where I've read articles that in which they seem pretty sure that one of the three games Obsidian is working on right now is KOTOR III. But this is the one that really caught my eye! Obsidian Hiring For KOTR III? - News at Gaming Horizon It says: Though it's certainly far from a game announcement, Obsidian Entertainment has posted a job listing for a senior environmental concept artist to work on a new project for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The project is described as an unannounced, third-person action/RPG tile which, as I'm sure you're now realizing, is a perfect description for a possible Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III. Hopefully Obsidian will make an official statement at this year's E3. You can view other Obsidian job listings (for an "unannounced console RPG") here. Now before anyone says it I know this doesn't absolutely confirm their making it but for me it just seems like the right time. I mean if they are going to make it for all three systems PC, 360, and PS3 like has been suggested it's now or never. With the PS3 debuting in November and the 360 already out springing this popular of a game for all three forums at say oh E3 would make major news and really build up the hype with a few screenshots. Now like I said I know it's not an announcement or anything it's just my opinion of what I read and what I feel they are going to be.
