What about that guy..who was it...Darth Marka ragnos--or something. KREIA said that he was the best lightsaber duelist EVER and that our lightsaber battles now would look like nothing compared to him. even though its not a choice.

um are you talking about philosohpically or just in KotOR/KotOR II? cuz in KOTOR II dark side pwns BUT lightside is more of a challenge and more rewarding. in my opinion. just cuz i only use speed then whip out my lightsaber and slice off their heads.

uh...you do know it says on the robe: CANNOT EQUIP: BAO-DUR bao dur is messed up physically. because hes a tecchie for half the game, his strength and feats and stuff are all based on that... so when you make him a jedi hes not a tecchie and he *SUCKS*.

yes it is. //edit: of course then my comment is on the other page <_< I believe that Kreia is grey. If you look at the things she says, all she wants is for you to control events from the shadows. The Jedi did that. The Sith do that. that in itself is neither manipulation nor persuasion. She is *not* evil because she became a Sith Lord out of necessity, to challenge you. And of course to give her an opportunity to destroy the Force. For example, you can unlock the convo with Handmaiden (in the Telos Acadamy) about Revan and his/her revenge against Malak. Kreia interjects with something about whether Revan even had the choice (*implying* that the Force forced (excuse the pun) him/her into it, or at least persuaded Revan.) She hates both the Sith *and* the Jedi. She hates the Jedi for numerous reasons already mentioned (and they are in the game as well) but she also mentions at the end of the game that the Sith Lords were basically chaos-creators. Their only aim was to destroy the Jedi, and to conquer the galaxy. They would destroy everything just for power. How could she join such a people? She is not a brutal power hungry Force wielder -- she is a BETRAYER as Darth Traya mentions many times. She BETRAYED the Sith and she BETRAYED the Jedi. She is not red because she hates both. She hates the Force, dark AND light.

never actually beat KotOR II without lightsabers, but i have gotten almost all the way through the first one with only blasters (then i got bored and whipped out a double bladed blue and pwned on the mandy's faces)

*sniffle* i am playing right now as a DS girl and i unlocked Bao as a Jedi before Atton even...and i was on Nar Shadaa! i hadnt even gone to any of the sectors (other than the landing area) and i had him as like 3/4 evil. suddenly he turns all the way evil and starts talking about his anger. when i reload the next day hes not totally evil, only like 3/4 of the way. it was cool because i only had to do one influence thing (the gimme all your credits and jump off the edge thing)

just wondering... i never used T3-M4 at all. neither did i use mandalore. the best influence unlock i did with T3 is to unlock this thing where you regain force points by working on T3 (after doing all of the repair and computer use things on him). there is supposedly something where he shows you a secret hologram like R2 in a new hope. i also didnt know there was an unlockable thing with mandalore. how do you unlock it? same with Goto. how do you unlock him showing you the hologram? //edit one more question. on peragus, when you are going to that console thing with the purple pillars with droids behind them, you unlock a convo with atton. if you ask about the "sensor balls", the camera pans back and you see.....remote??!?!?! hes just hovering there and then its gone. i dont understand it.

well if we knew then it would ruin the whole ending of KotOR II/beginning/plot of KotOR III right? cuz the whole point is that hes in the unknown regions, not the region-that-everyone-knows-about.....region.

but when you are a guy she talks about how she admires you because of the fact that you were able to live without the force and you have such a greatness that doesnt come from the force. she also mentions that when you first meet her/talk to her. Of course, she is, according to the "masters of the jedi order", only drawn to you because of your strange ability to draw force sensitives to you.

yea ive had this glitch before. I actually just did it again, but said "No one disarms me" instead of "WE mean you no harm" and it un-glitched. No LS for the first one though... <_<

For me I always get everyone in my party to join me as a Jedi, ever since my second time playing. I killed random people, consulted the influence guide a few times, and *BAM* it was all a piece of cake from there. Bao-Dur is really hard to get influence with, but there are events which trigger his influence level. When he actually has a conversation with you about im really glad i found you again, then you know youre close P.S. Ive gotten influence for everyone actually....its really quite interesting. P.P.S. Bao-Dur looks like a freaking demon when he is corrupted by the dark side.

Uh. I really am very confused. I, being the naughty person that i am, was messing around with the swkotor2.ini file. I changed the line having to do with the number of sith lords or something from 2 to 2000000. I went back to the KotOR II title page of the game and the loitering sith lord was ATRIS in a dark and very Sith Lordy robe. I think that i unlocked a secretive ending. This would definitely make sense for Atris to be a Sith Lord because there was one point where after you fight her she tells you that she staged the whole peragus thingy and i only ever unlocked that once. also when kreia is speaking to atris kreia says some things that would imply that she was going to be the new sith lord not kriea. i have no clue how to unlock it and i dont know if anyone else has so post post post and tell me if you have had any similar experiences or if you know how to unlock it!
