Prey Review
1UPs review of it made it seem even more puzzle intensive than the Half Lifes rather than all actiony. They were also very impressed and I generally trust their reviews more than most. I'll pick it up after I upgrade.

Hitman: The Movie
Jason Statham's build is wrong for 47. Diesel will do fine if he gets a good script and he puts out some effort. I think he probably will because he's a self professed nerd. I don't see him wanting to mess it up or not taking it seriously.

OSW - while we've endured countless rehearsals for weeks, now you expect to waltz in just like that, do your little scene, collect your big fat pay check, and then pimp off to the Caribbean leaving us high and dry? And a wise man once said, YOU THINK YOU CAN GET SOUP? PLEASE, YOU'RE WASTING EVERYONE'S TIME. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, uh, that was kind of sort of my plan, so uh. Am I in?

Hitman: Blood Money
But the thing is witnesses really don't matter as long as you're just another face. I mean, there's hundreds of witnesses on any given mission in Blood Money, you just have to make sure they never see you doing anything wrong.

Rome : Total War
I don't think I was very good at that game. I'd just get a whole bunch of War Dog units and spam everything with them. It was brutally effective, but it was kind of easy. Then again watching an elephant fall to those little rottweilers was hilarious.

Hitman: Blood Money
I wrote what I wrote in the thread earlier when I'd only played up to Flatline. I disliked him killing the delivery man a lot. It made no sense. In past games he's always gone for the clean kill, been careful with innocent lives, even saving them a few times. Then here we have the poor delivery guy, doesn't know who 47 is, all he knows is he's just delivered a package. And 47 kills him, with a gun no less. Terribly messy way to kill a person if you ask me, and it broke the character they'd established for 47 thus far. So much for the evidence of him developing a conscience in #2. In other news I figured out a way to do A New Life without killing any innocents. Either

Pictures of your Games: Revolutions
Violent friendly fun. I guess I can overlook playing as a male, in order to be a hitman. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And I think you can run it well since I believe your comp's spec is similar to CoF's (Radeon 9600s). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uh, my comp doesn't run it so well. Runs it, yes. But there's some slowdowns in rainy areas, and I'm running at a really small resolution, and even though my comp can handle AA there's this weird bug that makes textures turn transparent blue if I turn it on that I haven't been able to find a solution to yet. I'll definitely be playing through it again after I upgrade.

Apparently all of us were wrong
Actually I think Gromnir said that no CRPG can feature true roleplaying because of the predetermined nature of even the most complexly written CRPG, unlike a PnP roleplaying campaign where the players are free to do quite literally whatever they want. It wasn't 'It doesn't matter whether or not they're an actual RPG as long as you're having fun.' so much as 'It doesn't matter whether or not they'r an actual RPG because no CRPG will even have true roleplaying and all of them just have greater and lesser roleplaying elements.' Also it'd be nice if you could come up with your own opinions rather than parroting what's already been said.

What are you playing ...
I wonder why. It'd kind of sort of make sense if it crashed during startup, or in the middle of the game when it was doing a disc check. But on exit?

What are you playing ...
Have you done a comparison between game crashes without the disc on a retail version and game crashes with a DD version? I'd be curious if there was a difference.

Hitman: Blood Money
You way is definitely slower because the last kill I do happens as soon as the Sheik is in position to answer his cellphone. Just did it again my way because I figured there must've been something wrong with the score. Got Silent Assassin, popped off two shots instead of one by accident, only one hit. Also, one of the kills counted as an accident. Nothing went wrong with the sedation the first time because there were no witnesses. Bizarre. Also I don't think the time you do a mission in counts for anything but bragging rights, because I took forever on the Death on the Mississippi mission just to make sure none of the dudes on the Gators' private deck saw me taking someone else out.

That's even messier than my way. WTF?!

Well, you aren't technically allowed to share with your siblings anyways. Nor are you technically allowed to install on two computers. If that's a deal breaker for you, then I guess that's that. Naturally they have to try to do something to stop outright piracy. It does come with the added benefit (for the most part) of not coming with the "malware" that people hate such as Starforce. The other alternative is the "limited download" paradigm that some online resellers use. Trymedia for instance, limited me to 5 installs with my licence for Eastside Hockey Manager. At first I hesitated, but then I figured that by the time I used up all 5 of my installs, I'd have likely gotten my $20 worth anyways (and I did...after 1 install). Still have 3 installs left. EDIT: Is this the Cthulhu game you were looking for? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Technically I could uninstall every time I wanted to share with my siblings after backing up whatever saves there are, reinstall on whatever computer I/they're going to be using the game on, and I'd be within the confines of the EULA (I think). It makes more sense to me to do two installs and shuffle the discs around. It's not like we're both playing the game at the same time anyway. EDIT: Bok I don't usually have a disc in the drive anyway. It kills the drive's longevity and it's a major power drain on my laptop. My conscience is clean, all my games are legit, but I generally use NoCD cracks.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wicked <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lost my business. I usually install on my Desktop and Laptop. Sometimes I share with my siblings.

Hitman: Blood Money
So does anyone have any idea how to get SA on the Shamal mission when playing in Pro? The old way I did it that got me SA under normal difficulty was This only gets me Professional when playing under Professional. I want the money from Silent Assassin.

Weird. Sounds like something funky with your game. PC or Console version?
