As a direct result of discussion in The QOL Suggestion thread, I bring you a poll! Winning options are not promised, but it doesn't hurt to see where preferences lie among the beta testers regardless. Bring on the feedback!

Cross platform playing
Sylvanta replied to Hannibal_PJV's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
I'll have to double check when everyone is in the office (I got in 2 hours and 30 minutes early!) but that is one of the reasons why we ask you to sign in. Your data is saved to a cloud. Ideally you'll have access to you parties when you sign in on a different device. Logins are currently mostly for store and gold/xp gain. In the long term future they'll affect multiplayer. Shorter term, we are working on putting saves in the cloud, but it's not a feature that's out yet. -
I have a feeling if your buddies come over, the physical thing is still going to hit the table and it's back to shuffling for you. But that is part of the charm and magic of physical tabletop games. Unless you have Nathan shuffling, then you defiantly want digital Unless someone left on Nathan's special debug mode...

A few questions: 1. Is this on your Avant? 2. How long was the play session? (estimated) 3. Was the app left open for a long time? 4. Did you have a lot of other apps open? 5. Did you try restarting the device before uninstalling? I, conveniently, also have access to an Avant, so I'll be sure to check it out on there if that is the issue. (Even though we don't officially support phones yet - now i need to know! )

Beta2: accuire and use ally power - game stopping bug
Sylvanta replied to Hannibal_PJV's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Brodert breaking things when being buried for damage per relevant scenario/wildcard powers has been repro'd and is being addressed. I'll look more into the general functionality of the card as well. Thanks! -
More information about showstopper bug
Sylvanta replied to Borissimo's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
We've discovered (at least one) issue that is specific to Ilsoari's examine ability if you find a monster. Once you encounter the monster, shenanigans occur (thanks to your original info, I might add!). This should be resolved in the next build. -
Temporarily closing locations
Sylvanta replied to PinkRose's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
We've addressed this in the next build. -
Closed Beta Issues Thread
Sylvanta replied to Mikey Dowling's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Did you discard any cards for the check? We've had a bug where cards in the discard count as damage even though it was used for play. Warrens shouldn't be off on it's own. Were you fighting Undead? Undead are immune to Toxic Cloud. -
Beta 2 Patch Notes
Sylvanta replied to Darren Monahan's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
I believe there are certain cards that have both reveal and discard options that cause this problem. If you reveal -> cancel, sometimes the card stays in the reveal slot and becomes irrecoverable. You also lose the dice you gained from the reveal, but can no longer interact with the card. We haven't had any luck reproducing this internally. While I hope that it's fixed in future builds, I also have trouble on the Beta 2 Build. Any additional information people can provide when they encounter this would be appreciated. Did this occur in the updated build? Was it a new playthrough with Beta 2, or was it started in Beta 1? This happened after I updated the app to the new build. It was a playthrough started in Beta 1 that didn't transfer properly into Beta 2. We'll look into this - thanks! -
Issues with Skill Feats
Sylvanta replied to Eldicor's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
We have a bug in for characters getting adventure rewards incorrectly. I'll look into the mysterious extra skill feats! -
Tap Trigger Zone on Recharged Cards
Sylvanta replied to Mysterio's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
It should definitely be easier to zoom on it. Getting a bug in on it. Thanks!- 1 reply

Quality of Life Suggestions
Sylvanta replied to Borissimo's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
1. A roll button. It doesn't feel like a lot of actions to me, personally, (and I've been playing this game a -long- while). But, that being said, the only things I see working against this are trying to figure out where in the UI to put it. Thankfully, that's not my job. 2. An option to auto-roll recharge checks. As Deekow mentions, you don't always want to auto roll a recharge check. You may want to add cards to help it, or you might even want to lose it intentionally to get cards out of your deck. 3. Moving cards out of your hand should play them. I understand the appeal of the idea, but there are a number of cards that have multiple methods of play. We wouldn't want to make the decision of play to be automatic, so you'd have to select an option after throwing it out there. We're not a fan internally of the button prompts on cards that have more than one option (Merchant Give Card/Explore on discard; Haste Move/Explore on discard), but accept them as a necessary evil. Would dragging a card out then selecting that prompt be less annoying (for lack of a better term), than dragging the cards to their respective play locations? 4. An option to forfeit a scenario. Agree 100%. We plan to implement this and are shooting for launch (don't quote me on that! I don't want to be blamed if it doesn't make launch ) 5. A menu option to auto-skip cutscenes/dialogue. We provide skip buttons as you've probably noticed. But it would be nice to not have to hit two loading screens to proceed. 6. An option to keep the starting location view for the entire scenario. I'm a big fan of the maps, but I readily concede that scrolling the map to find the location can get tiresome. I'd love to give us the option to zoom in/out of the map so we can see all locations at once, myself. 7. Increase the number of things that roll automatically. Whenever something bad happens, the roll is supposed to be auto. Encounter a Goblin in Approach to Thistletop? Take damage from Explosive Runes? Determine if you'll take damage post-combat? These are supposed to have automatic rolls - anything that isn't is a bug. Anything good should be manual - boons from a chest, blessings from Holy Candle, heals, etc. These all used to be manual rolls - and I, for one, welcome our new auto-rolling overlords - as long as they stick to the negative stuff. 8. Arcane/Divine spell filters. Could be useful for newer players. Not sure where they'd stick that in the UI. Those are just my personal opinions. I will pass them on as suggestions for the future! -
Character upgrades still not right
Sylvanta replied to PinkRose's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Some questions: Did you modify character decks between scenarios? Did you add in or remove other characters at any point? What were the other characters in your party? Did anyone die at any point? -
Did you two both use Facebook logins or the Playfab login? (Playfab login is what you create when you create an account through the app). I've found a way to attempt a facebook login and the game thinks you've logged in even if you haven't actually. That would cause the issues with the store - the missing values and such are due to you being in the store but not actually being logged in - something we're working on improving.

We'll look into the inconsistencies with that wildcard power. Thanks! Pillbug Podiker does poison damage - not combat. Hence why you weren't prompted to bury a card. Not a bug, after all! Though, it would be nice if that were more obvious. We occasionally have special damage effects from monsters to characters - it should be the case here too. It may be more obvious to the player that its not combat damage if the vfx show fire, or frost or green cloudy poison clouds. Hmm... I still need to write up a bug, I see. Stream of consciousness is fine. The information is still useful! After some internal testing, it appears that the Temple location is the source of a lot of issues in quest mode - this may be the source of the black screen & no blessings problems. But, we're looking into it more.

Story Mode: The complexity of this game results in a lot of strange bugs like that. They unfortunately tend to be terribly specific about the cards encountered prior to the issue occurring (or powers in play... or interrupts [i'm looking at YOU, Ezren. ], etc). That being said... we'll look into it! I do wish you all had access to one of our debug features that would help point out where the game got confused. Alas. Quest Mode: Any chance you remember the scenario power? Also, I like the suggestion. I am not a fan of the progression breaks that still exist in the game, and we definately don't want you guys losing saves - I'd much rather have a failsafe way to retain saves in case there's an issue once released (Because, realistically, try as we might we won't catch all bugs, especially on a team of our size). I shall throw forth the proposal. Also: Difficulty unlocking in story mode being tied to a party is a bug that will be resolved before launch. It should be tied to the account. Quest mode is a very, very new feature and is still WIP. I'm not surprised there are issues - that being said, it's good to know some of these now so we can put in suggestions to help prevent having to restart should the save go wonky once the feature is released.

Rerolls not working is a known issue. I'm not sure it made it to the known issues list - I'll add it now. We currently don't have contextual buttons for cards that you're forced to bury from discard. It's been bugged! We'll look into the inconsistencies with that wildcard power. Thanks!

An issue with the temple had been noted elsewhere (for the life of me I can't remember where). I don't think it mentioned quest mode though - it's very possible the location is buggy there. I haven't had any issues with it in story mode. I'll look into it! Thanks!

Beta2: monsters with multible checks
Sylvanta replied to Hannibal_PJV's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Since there has been some confusion as to how to allow another character to take a check for multichecks, I bring you... pictures (well, one picture) of the button in question! -

Closed Beta Issues Thread
Sylvanta replied to Mikey Dowling's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Mentioned in another thread, and should shortly be in the Known Issues for Beta 2. This also affects Justice Ironbriar and The Skinsaw Man, as well. -
Bug: Approach to Thistletop villain skips encounter steps
Sylvanta replied to Borissimo's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Thanks for the heads up! I've looked into it and it seems to only affect Gogmurt, The Skinsaw Man, and Justice Ironbriar. Consider their scenarios Extra Hard Mode for now.- 1 reply

Beta2: login screen feature or bug
Sylvanta replied to Hannibal_PJV's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
If you get the "login successful" message, you are logged in. The welcome screen appearing is a known bug.
