I've been playing this co-op with moron and it's been pretty fun. We're finished with the first world map. I can see how other people would be disappointed, though, given the lack of emphasis on story/writing/characters. The actual focus on gameplay has made the co-op a smoother experience, so that's actually a plus for us. My favorite game soundtrack this year. Well done, Obs.

Versus is fun, but I don't actually like it that much. The co-op itself is much more fun.

Can you at least allow the SoZ menu music to be replaced with the MotB music? Can that be coded?

Why? Don't you read this thread? You can't switch the SoZ menu music (which sucks, not gloomy enough) back to the MotB one. JE Sawyer was reading this thread, and completely ignored our bug reports for that issue. Also, the game isn't Fallout 3, which makes it a pile of crap!!!! Just rename the files and place them into the proper directory, done. But why would I want to replace the great SoZ music in the first place? WHAT? You can do that? I can't believe I've been a PC gamer all these years and haven't realized I could RENAME files. What a freaking revelation!!! I feel kind of silly uninstalling this and spreading the word not to get this game now. BTW, does the new patch make your savefiles unplayable?

Do we know who the composer for AP is yet? Is it the new sound guy at Obs (who did MotB/SoZ)?

It's the same dialogue popup for both players. You can only select the characters you own. Wouldn't really work except as a LAN or with voicechat.

Nick and me are playing co-op. It works nicely enough. Good game so far. Fantastic music. The overland map works well enough. Resting/dying rules are great. .... we have 3 dinosaurs in our party.

Yes, wasn't it funny when he made that alt account, spammed with it, then put on his moderator hat and scolded himself? It was hilarious until he went overboard and wanted to nuke the Middle-East. Obs couldn't allow a mod to post something like that, since they need the Middle-East to exist in order to base one of their locations in Alpha Protocol on it.

I think the NWN community is still fairly active. There's probably more NWN1 online players then there are NWN2's nowadays. NWN2 toolset is more powerful (especially in terms of external area design), and is more streamlined in some aspects (makes dialogue/scripting easier to handle at parts). I haven't touched it too much, though. From what I have, though, NWN1's is more easily accessible nevertheless, perhaps because it's just simpler to use (and less powerful subsequently).
